The udes would yes, be more complex. However give the mobility difference, in the era when heavies were dying out in exchange for medium's/mbt's, i don't see it being viable. Along with the armor layout it to me seems to be a better choice, as the angling on the udes turret would likely be enough to shatter/deflect early apfs/ds, while the tornvagn's profile being narrower, would have an easier time being penned through the front cheeks (or whole thing depending on the round fired at it which could also be said to the Udes in some aspects), along with the side of the turret being overmatched if shown

Personally I think both are novel idea's for their time but from I see it seems the Udes has practicality and matches the trajectory tank development was going through heading into the MBT era

Im saying this most on hypothetical assumptions based on how they appear

Tornvagn has no crew in the turret its unmanned, it also suffers from WGS tendency to shove a tank in tiers it doesn’t belong in as it wouldn’t be as slow as it’s suggested , the UDES however still being the same in function is more complex due to the suspension the terrain of Sweden or the grounds it would have fought on wouldn’t make it too necessary, however STRV 2000 would be the best of both worlds

Short answer: In general angling a tank can help get bounces.

Long answer: 40tp isn't a sidescraper, don't play it like one. Try to go hulldown and hide your lower plate - your turret has good armor!

Why do some tanks have a turret in front like Tiger (P) or back like FV215? What's the difference? What does it change?

Engine size and early transmissions are usually the case for that

Early transmission are usually at the front for some vehicles like the Panzer 4s are due to it being easier to push the controls compared to rear transmission in the T-34 which requires a lot of force without the help of hydraulics/electrical drive to assist that, which the Porsche Tiger solved via electrical transmission, but cause a bunch of problem since the technology for that was more used on buses and trams

But traditional transmission at the front and engine at the rear can cause another problem since it requires a drive train to connect the two, which may cause a tank to be taller since the turret is in the middle, therefore the idea of rear turret came into place, not only solving the problem with the transmission but also 'increase crew survivability"

Most MBTs now have a better hydraulic/electrical transmission so the center turret and engine at the rear design hang around, except for the Merkava, whose designers put the engine in the front for the "increase crew survivability" reason, which doesn't bode well recently

Some tanks were intentionally designed like that usually to put the engine in front instead or sometimes because of the turret and gun being so heavy they’re put in the back to not have the weight unevenly hang over the tank

Turret placement depends on a lot of things. What is the tank meant to do? Does it need extra flexibility? How tall should it be? A frontally mounted turret leaves a lot of room in the back for the engine, such as with the Tiger P where you needed a a lot of room. A middle mounted turret was pretty standard, since it provided a good deal of flexibility, but it also tended to make the tank taller. A rear mounted turret was mainly there for weight reasons. The frontal armor on the hull is heavy, and if you mount a turret with a lot of frontal armor and a heavy gun right in the front of the hull, then you can get some pretty severe weight balancing issues. Whereas if you mount a turret in the rear, the weight of the frontal turret armor and gun are going to be resting in the middle of the center of gravity, where it is much easier to control.

I think the sandworm is a really nice desert camo we don’t really have any of those other than the desert gold pass camos which you can’t get (that you can use outside of desert maps the credit ones are for those maps only)

It’s not obnoxious like other event camos it actually looks normal,sand spice would be really good but kinda annoyed that it feels the need to glow for absolutely no reason not every epic camo has to glow WG :/
