Since they don’t have gun depression but have ridiculous dpm then you need to be more positionally aware of yourself and where you need to be on the map. Find cross fire spots to help your team or effectively kill enemies. Also since the rate of fire is insane you can perma track people if you can’t pen them

I mean I’ve been playing for almost a year and I half and I guess I have my top two a little far from the rest but i love playing a variety of tanks and pretty much all the ones I like or that I didn’t just get are like at least 50 games and have plenty over 100
Those top two being lansen at 700 and Tornvagn at over 500 (but game modes aren’t included,I’m sure Tornvagn would be even with lansen if they were)

I guess that may just be me tho preferring to constantly play different tanks than play one
But lansen,Tornvagn and now Strv K I can easily play over and over in a row without getting bored of em

I’m looking through various lines I might like to do. I’m on the fence about the British Med line, the American derp light line looks fun, I don’t know what else I’d really want. I like gun depression but it ain’t a necessity, so I’ve been considering the Russian Medium line, but I have this tier 8 Russian medium premium and it’s alright, I don’t know if it’s a good representation of the tech tree meds.

Also been looking at the American turreted tank destroyer line, unsure how that is. Japanese heavies too.

the gun was always meh at best with average alpha, average pen, low dpm for its caliber, and despite the good dispersion when moving/turning, the slow turret traverse + bad turret bloom made it insanely frustrating to me

the Type 71’s mobility was also nuked some time ago, it’s a rather sluggish tank and the fact that it no longer can dance with 50 degrees of traverse makes its weakspots much easier to nail

Idk what to tell you there, I quite enjoy it and have no real issues doing well in it. You mainly just need to hide the vulnerable section on the lower hull, it's fairly well armored frontally otherwise. Tier 7s are an issue but that's true of most tier 6 heavies when bottom tier, even the ever popular VK

They're very beginner friendly and easy to play
Good armor on the e 100, only possible pen when faced frontally could be turret cheeks if they shoot Premium ammo or the lower plate which is quite easy to pen
If you know how to angle it it's unpenetrable
As for 60tp it has a very small lower plate but the sides are a bit weaker, and the turret is hella armored

Both have about 600 alpha with like 14 15 second reload

Brawling is it’s strong suit, mobile, good turret to face hug, but you don’t angle it at all.

The line leading up to it is full of mid tanks and downright painful ones, so, really gauge if it’s worth the grind.

It has got a very good gun: it has good alpha (560 on ap), but still has good dpm, dispersion and aiming time.
It has also good speed for a heavy tank which is very nice.
The armour though isn’t great, in fact you’re not going to bounce barely any shot on the hull. The turret armour is actually pretty dang solid, but the tank only carries 6 degrees of gun depression, so you won’t be able to do a lot of hull down

I personally like the tank, but it took a while to me ro get used to it, since you really nees to valorise it’s excellent gun and speed, while trying to keed the hull hidden

The nice thing is that you can outtrade most of your opponents

No, everything about this thing is great against tier 8, becomes worse against tier 9 and becomes rly bad against tier X, the gun is unreliable featureting almost only alpha, accuary, aimtime, gunhandling, pen not the best, which is tbh fine against tier 8, you outtrade them with ez and the gun hits, the armor is strong against tier 8 and that almost everything but it gets worse against tier 9, tier 9 and espically tier X have no problems to pen your turret and if they have they just press 2 key, gundepression dosnt help here, the tank has no, so you cant use it to increase your armor, sadly, futher then that while Tier X have no problems penning you, you yourself struggle a lot, since u need to hit weakspots which u cant because of the poor gun (tier 8 are easily pennable so its fine)

The tank still can be fun, but that isnt a really argument when you want to discuss if a tank is objectily good

The Yoh has a wider gun diversity, mainly the 2 shell gun is completly diffrent to T57 having a 2 shells burst of 900 damage in 1,7s is rly great but gunhandling and dpm is kinda bad,
The 3 shell gun is very similar to the T57 where u have the same very good dpm, good gunhandling, medium intraclip, but lose on the alpha, T57 while having the same dpm has more alpha, means more burst and less shots that u need to hit for actually damage, the downside of the T57 heavy is the very unreliable armor that is only rng, while Yoh can bounce some shells while hulldown and espcially when its hiding its cupolas in reload
both vehicles are very good but can be kinda hard to play, espcially the DPM 3 shell gun of the yoh, because of the low alpha damage but quick clip reload (similar to BC 25t) you have to do a alot of shells successfully to actually be effective (keep in mind that every shoot u take may come at the risk of getting penned, they less you have to peak to shoot, the less damaged u can get

the polish heavy line is probably the best line for beginners, the tier 8 is rly great and I can recommend that to everybody, high alpha, workable gun, rly fast and decent hulldown, funny as hell, 60TP is sometimes boring but effectice, good hulldown, decently fast, very high alpha, some gundepression and the overall armor makes it rly flexible, + the good alpha is good for beginners (less peaking for damage, means less chances for u to get penned yourself)

I can higly NOT recommend the Kran line, while the Emil I is pretty effective and fun (at least it was for me) the Emil II and Kran lose actually everything cause of the autoreloader and the armor, the kran is pretty much slow at everything, it turns slow, drives slow, gets the top speed slow, the single shots reload slow, the intra clip is slow, the aimtime is slow, etc

The tank is still effective, great gundepression, very good turret armor and the decent clip damage makes this tank together with the super consumables to counter its downsides (at least sometimes) makes it boring but effective ones in position

I higly recommend watching YT content or streams Idk about the kran

Everybody tries to shoot the hammer before the hammer gets them because all the hammer has to do is shoot them once!

You know the hammer is going to do at least 1200 in damage in one shot. And it has a very good chance of even amo racking while it's at it.

But it has no armor to speak of not like the JG I have the JG also and it's one of my favorites.

That's it the HESH The one with the red tip. That's the premium ammo for English or British tanks And you know what It's armor piercing and it's high explosive and it pierces the armor and blows the tank up from within.

I have a feeling I might not like Caliban’s playstyle tho
I like the KV-2 but know it’s not a tank meant to actually do well
And not a fan of the 183 I don’t really get it
So not sure if the Caliban is actually a tank that’s meant to compete with other tanks and do well like any other or if it’s just a trolling tank
But I think the Caliban is a really cool tank so I’d probably play it either way

Caliban HESH is overrated, should be FV 183 levels of damage due to higher HP pools and the fact everything moves faster than T10 (usually)

Then how are you supposed to utilize it? It has thick armor and almost impenetrable, especially on hull down at range, of course it's going to camp at the back to snipe with its 12,8cm PaK 44

Also, it has very slow mobility, you're not using that against high speed maneuverable tanks like the Sheridan and T-100LT

It's that guy's skill issue then, the reason why you need distance especially on slow vehicles is because of ratty race cars with cannons. Whenever I play TDs, I usually platoon with someone using a Light or Medium so they can spot and watch my back.

The reason why I (personally) don't stick with my team (especially randoms) is because they're usually very unreliable and annoying, that's why I'm usually on my own when I'm not in a platoon.
