Mediums: TVP, Leo, Fv4202
Lights: Vickers probably but the other ones are fine aswell

but there are many good tanks atm any very few ones that suck, so you are kinda fine with whatever if you can play you tank

I like playing it near the front due to the strong turret. The hull is still good, but you should hide it when possible. Avoid overangling though, because the pike nose can sometimes be a disadvantage

The whole point of the YoH is to deliver that 900 damage in the blink of an eye. If you run the 3 shot, sure you gain DPM, but you've effectively turned your tank into a slow Skoda T50 with worse stats

How do I play T-100 LT, I just go it and I usually play it as a scout to spot early and then I play passive as a support vehicle. The thing is I’ve realized it’s a very team dependent tank right?

The dpm doesn‘t matter because of the armour, hp and alpha.

The VK takes 4 x 640 = 2560 shots to kill the T95E6 (2300 hp)
The T95E6 takes 7 x 400 = 2800 shots to kill the VK (2600 hp)

First shot advantage means the VK takes 3 x 15.58s = 46.66s to kill the T95E6
The T95E6 takes 6 x 7.58s = 45.46s to kill the VK, so only one second less.

Factor in that the VK can use sandbags instead of fuel and the hp equipment (2912 hp), and suddenly the T95E6 needs 8 shots and lands at 53.04s, almost 6.5s longer than the VK. The T95E6 cannot force the VK to need 5 shots, except through the force of RNG

And then you can also consider that penetrating the T95E6 is easily possible with standard only, and that the T95E6 would need to shoot prammo to reliably penetrate the VK depending on the situation. Ironically, accuracy won‘t help because the T95E6‘s weakspots are massive while the VK‘s weakspots are tiny if you shoot standard.

And I don‘t see how the mobility advantage matters in a 1vs1 because you can‘t circle anyways and flanking only works if you actually have a teammate to establish a crossfire with you

I find the low pen of normal ammo on the Pershing infuriating but that's probably the worst thing I have to say about either line currently. Basically what I don't want is outright bad gun depression, really bad mobility, or a total lack of usable armor might be the best way to explain it.

Well, the thing g is, you’re going to have to give up either the gun depression, or the turret armor, or some mobility if you want to play something that’s not the M48/E5 line. The only other line that would fit the bill is the Brit mediums (at least until FV4202, which gives up the turret armor), but I can’t in good conscience recommend that line as it’s kinda bad.

If you need the turret armor and gun depression, either Polish or Swedish, or the M VI YoH line heavies would fit the bill, but are a little slower.

If you are ok with giving up some gun depression, IS-7 and 113 lines have great mobility and turret armor

If you’re ok with giving up armor, I’d recommend either the TVP or T57 lines.

Or… you could try something totally different. E4 line is pretty nice nowadays

The T29 is basically the tier for tier floor on mobility for me though. And for 8, 9, and 10 I'd be increasingly reluctant to accept its level of mobility unless I adored everything else. It's basically just a cutoff point for me.

Then I think your options are going to be down to Swedish heavies, M VI YoH, 60TP, and Japanese heavies running gun depression equipment for heavy lines with >-8 gun depression and good turrets.

IMO 60TP line is the overall most competitive of those options, being the fastest overall of the 4 options, -8 gun depression, and big guns. You lose out on accuracy though.

M VI YoH line is pretty fun. The turrets aren’t as strong as the other options, and they’re fairly slow, but you get -10 gun depression, and the ability to slam people for 900 damage in a very short amount of time.

Swedish heavies have pretty strong turrets, -10 gun depression, and low profiles, making them very easy to position, but the DPM and autoreloading mechanics can let you down sometimes.

Japanese heavies with the gun depression equipment IMO are kinda blah. If you liked the E5 line, it’s more of the same, but overall slower and with more armor.

I know this is dumb but I can't get over how the M VI YoH line looks. I was probably gonna do them on the side anyway though at some point. 60TP line I will definitely check out, I hadn't looked super closely yet. Worst case scenario I'll do the Japanese heavies if they are sort of "more of the same." So the UK heavy line isn't a good fit you don't think? It was mentioned before along with the UK mediums.

I do personally like the FV215b line, and I think it’s one of the best lines in the game, but it will require you to step a little outside your comfort zone, as they’re more gun-focused. But when you put those guns to work, man they hurt. All of them (tier 7+) have close to best in class DPM, best in class accuracy, and the Conq/215b have 170mm pen HE shells which can tear things to shreds.

They’re definitely a little harder to position though as Conq and 215b only have -7 gun depression, and are a little on the squishy side, but you’re playing those tanks for the guns. And when it comes down to it, if you pop adrenaline/reactive armor consumables at the same time, you can just DPM trade with people in a pinch

The Type's armor does sometimes feel unreliable so far though I'd say it's still pretty tough. I'd believe the skoda is a bit tougher though looking at its armor profile

You can also probably angle more effectively in the Skoda, the Type's frontal profile has so many weird angles to it that trying to sit at an angle will inevitably open up new weakspots

The angles work for and against you imo but I think if you wiggle or otherwise move yeah it can troll bounce some shells pretty easily. Though sometimes I'm also left saying "how the heck did that pen"
