You can definitely make a tank unable to fire by hitting the barrel lol. Tanks already have to make sure nothing is in the barrel when they fire, hence why most countries have developed some sort of rubber cap that tankers stick on the end.

The reason why WG refuses Marks of Excellence is because it would have to be rendered on top of the texture (decal) and at a relatively high resolution (compared to shell impacts), which would make it unavailable for a sizeable portion of the player population (because their devices couldn‘t handle it)

So instead they went with ranks which is a bit of a mix of grind, paying and skill

I have like 30 free garage slots so I may as well use em.... me and a Chi-Nu just took down a Pz V/IV, a Pz IV G, and Churchill I, and I finished with okay damage (1400 dmg), no kills though, and almost no damage taken (a little ramming damage, because I was a little gung-ho in face-hugging the Churchill) it's a pretty fun tank :3

Tier VI: STRV Pilen. Imagine a small version of the Leo with a 75mm gun. The top gun would likely be the Kan STRV 74.

Tier VII: IKV 65 Alt 5 (E). The first iteration of the IKV 65 Alt 5 had a fully rotating turret and 90mm gun. Later redesigns raised the engine deck and limited the turret’s traverse angles.

It‘s up to you if you are more of a collector or if you want a strong tank. If you want to collect it then it‘s pricey but still acceptable, if you want a strong tank then I‘d advice against buying it (too expensive for the value you get)

Everything is standard except for two
choices. Cali vs vents and small fuel. Entirely up to preference.

The Somua plays like an armoured chevalier, the somua dislikes sitting still waiting for the enemy to aim in on its weak turret. It would much rather Assualt the enemy where it's weakspots become hard to hit!

Okay, but seriously.
-don't be afraid to load apcr, ensure your shots hit
-aim each shot as much as possible, dont move your hull to much so the bloom is mangeable
-reload your clip when you only have one shot left
-remember like Napoléons grenadiers, the Somua wins the battle of movement, not the battle of firepower, uses somuas excellent mobility to out position your enemy.
-somua is ultra flexible.

183 line is actually not terrible. Once you get to the AT-15, you’re looking at dpm monsters that rely solely on dpm to be their armor. Then there’s the 183 itself, which is the worst tier 10, but it’s fun to hesh some poor soul for 1,400.

50b line and the 50b itself are actually solid, and getting better next update. Gonna skip up to tier 8 again. The 50 100 is a weird one where it’s not quite got heavy armor, but also doesn’t quite have medium mobility. It does have a very nice gun however, making up for what the tank lacks. The 50 120 is mediocre at best, but it’s getting some odd changes next update, so we’ll see then. 50b, despite all of the complaints about it, performs well right now, and will perform better next update. You have massive clip potential on a mobile tank with quite a bit of HP, just don’t show the sides and you’re golden.

Beware it has awful traverse, poor accuracy, and terrible gun elevation. Otherwise it's also fine

AMX-50b, is really good. Traverse is abit slow, and the aim time could be faster, but otherwise it's basically perfect.
It also has very high apcr pen.

you wouldnt want to get high dmg games lol, it means ur team sucks and you have to do many players work just to win. imo 1k to 2k is fine

1k is awful. I would just aim to deal your HP in damage for heavies, but probably 20-50% more than that as a TD or med

really good. better than eagle 7 4 sure

t7 and below has to hit the lower plate to pen which is super low. your gun can hit for 300 which is a fat chunk of t7 and below. at t8 just play like a t44.

your dpm keeps you from being op lol. just chill, bounce shots and slap 300 consistently. you have low hp but still do take 5 percent armor to bounce even more

I've seen some 113 players do wonders with the dpm doing like 5k games semi regularly

I haven't figured out how to use the dpm effectively yet

Best damage I've done in it so far is 4.2k

getting 5k+ is pretty luck based, you need both your teammates and the enemy team to be really bad

granted I did do it back to back to back in a 183 once

Only if the enemy sits in front of you for that 12 seconds. You can really play aggressively like that. With the IS-3D you know that you will out reload the other tank

252U is a 40%ers tanks, it’s really not that good

The gun is absolutely atrocious, the armor only works against someone who can’t aim, and the mobility is okay

The 252U has hatches that cover the entire top of the turret and a massive lower plate, it’s incredibly easy to pen

The better gun and mobility of the IS-3D make it so much better than the 252U

Anybody with the reasonable ability to aim can get through it

IS-3 Defender has no armor profile, just point at it and easy pen. Its got 7° of depression? Good luck using that low depression

And if you think 7 is low, that’s a yikes

IS-3D also has a stronger turret since it has no weak points on top
