In some cases there are guns like the 105mm on the VK 28, sounds great but it has bad pen and gun handling, so the other gun with less alpha, but has penetration and good handling is better

KV-2 has the big 152mm which everyone uses

Yes, he is one of the best tier 8, has an ok gun, perfect armor for sidescraping and the grind for tier 9 E75 can be satisfactory for those who like to play heavy tanks. The only problem with it that can really cause problems is the suffered and limited mobility. It has a measly top speed of 35 kph (21 mph, if you're from the USA), it takes time to turn the hull and this can ruin some sidescraping positions where you need to position yourself quickly because you've been spotted by an enemy, but the his turret rotates well. I recommend using his low speed to stay close to your teammates and together form a mobile front that will push the enemy and always taking advantage of gaps and punishing hostiles who exposes themselves incorrectly, causing heavy damage with the 10.5cm weapon. I recommend researching the turret first, the Porsche turret (despite being prettier in person in my opinion) has very visible weak points on the front cheeks next to the mantlet and butter-thin armor on the sides so you have to research the Henschel turret first, equip the 10.5cm guns that will enhance your influence and strength in battle.

And also be careful with your lower plate and move the tank to make it difficult for enemies to hit your hatch.

the Borat is a great tank, can easily beat a Chimera, BUT ONLY IN THE RIGHT HAND, it is an incredibly hard tank to master, and is very easy to fail in, if your well equipped with mediums at tier 8 that have Bo armour I recommend, otherwise steer clear, go for a Chimera or Cent 5/1, to much easier/forgiving tanks that are just as Op

I disagree, the Tornvagn has a lot of weaknesses, and the Borat is good, but I, a 49.08% player got it dead in a Cent5/1 (he was a 55% 8k battle guy) then I think this game is fair, and I actually, surprisingly, believe this game has little to no OP tanks, naught the 752 and annihilator, this game is incredibly well balanced, and with basic knowledge, you can win in anything basically in the right situation (except stock/support or weak tanks (Indien PZ))

Everyone says this game is like WOT PC but the balancing is so much better, new premiums arnt entering op, and neither are new lines, sometimes new prems have to be buffed to keep up with tech tree tanks, like the tiger and the T-2020

Nah the cent5/1 chimera borasque and prog are all Op tanks, one is impervious hulldown, the chimera is just potato friendly tanks, troll armour and huge alpha, mixed with reactive armour/retical cali. It’s a boring tank to play and pain to play against. The borasque mainly played by muppets but is very strong in a good players hand and the prog is just busted, pretty big alpha for a 90mm with fast firing and accurate gun. These tanks simply just make t8 boring to play as that’s all you play against. You either join them or get demolished. That’s not even including t77,shark,type57 and 252

And I, a damn near 70% played think the Mino is an awful tank that does exactly what he said, it limits what can be done drastically because very single thing about the tank is situational.
And also there are quite a lot of OP tanks, the Chimera, Skoda T56, 53TP, etc.
Yeah sure you can win with any tank, but it also doesn't mean that everything is balanced lol
Tier 10 is the most balanced tier in the game and it quite honestly still feels pretty awful because of this eternal heavy tank meta.
The balancing is better than WoTPC's, but it's definitely close to it

If you're talking about Leopard VK 16.02 (Tier 5), its successor is a personal choice and will depend on which Tier 10 you want to reach.

I chose VK 28.01 because it is easier for me to use it, as I am used to it and even prefer to play with light tanks. The downside of this option is that you can only proceed with the exclusive Leopard 1 line.

Researching the VK 30.01 D, you will have to deal with tanks with meh mobility, not very strong guns and armor that will be mediocre at best. Choose your poison.

I just went out majestically in the Mino, swarmed and too slow to leave without support against 5 (me, a 60TP and a AMX 54) both dying, (60TP ammo’d, Amx swarmed like I) and I managed to take out 3 of their tanks with my last 3 shots and critically wounding the other two enough that my team could win, i think that’s a valiant way to die when your team loses a flank

I propose to add a new vehicle, which looks awesome and is a real life prototype: Polish PL-01 Concept.

It should be a collection tank to earn money for Wargaming to it has to be not only good looking but also well playing and expensive!

Idea is to make it as a heavy but someway a competition to Type-71 and FV215B (183), someway between those in the middle, so not that big shot damage as FV215B but not as good armour as Type.

It would be to gain during events, hard to get or to buy for gold.

I see it as Tier X tank and to be attractive it should be balanced the way to be in Top5 of the tier, so with winrate around 52-54% (to be tested, before launching the tank widely in some event).

I made some proposed stats to start with and check how it behaves on the map.

B) It was designed as a light tank. It’s nowhere near heavy tank sized. Why make it bigger?

C) Intended gun was either a 105mm or 120mm. That means an Alpha of 300 or 400 respectively. The caliber you would need for 750 alpha is a Jageroo gun, and that wouldn’t fit on this thing.

D) Ceramic Armour is a no-go.

"Siege mode" is something that needs to be debated or even tested to have its functionality good and balanced like other tanks.

But it's a very interesting idea and the tank is particularly one of my favorites.

It would be very good for sniping positions and should have a gun like the Leopard 1, but with more penetration and a very high concealment.

the problem is still the use/activation of Siege Mode, because a button would make the screen very visually polluted and the automatic mode would make the Strv-103 very difficult to control, since the aim must be handled by the player himself, just like a turret

As mentioned before, I think siege mode should be an automatic mechanic so it doesn't require an activation button. Wg will have to work for a while to balance out the tanks for sure, especially given the close quarter nature of most of the maps which completely negate the playstyle of the Swedish tds

personally speaking id get FV4005 first as i really like monstrosities that can eat half your entire HP in the matter of seconds, but FV4005 is one of the hardest, if not THE hardest tier 10 to play. If you are a beginner avoid the 4005 until you can play better. If you want a more forgiving clipper (clippers in general are less forgiving than regular guns), go for the T57 Heavy.

Yes, but if you make a mistake, you are going to die because all clippers, save for Kran line and T57, have no armor. Foch has some armor on front but the sided are made of cardboard. Ive seen countless beginners rush into the enemy with a clipper and die to focus fire almost instantly. If you only care about getting a single clip off before dying then yeah, but if you plan on averaging 2,500+ damage, its not a good choice. Really, by your logic the FV 215B 183 is the best tank for beginners because you need to shoot only once per 20 seconds to deal massive damage. You dont take stuff like fear factor or forgivingness of mistakes into account. Of course im gonna kill the enemy TVP before i go kill their E 100, because i know for sure that the TVP has more damage potential and thus i am afraid of it clipping off half my HP, while the E 100 can chip off some of my HP off, it cannot deal that huge amounts of damage to me as a TVP would. The best beginner tank is not the one with most damage potential, but the one that forgives you for doing mistakes = allowing you to live longer = shoot more = deal more damage.

Imagine a tank that isn't good at anything and has a small/medium caliber weapon with a dpm relevant to its tier. Average but maneuverable mobility, useful penetration, and pathetically unreliable armor and non-existent side armor. Panther I? Yes, but I'm referring to the Panther II.

Dpm attacks done from a controlled distance and flanking support greatly helps your team to form a heavy front and eat around corners using medium tanks. The 88mm gun isn't much, but its dpm and penetration are pretty damn hard if it hits enemy tracks and modules or crew. The precision of the weapon can also serve as a sniper (as long as it is a mobile sniper, not a flatworm brain that will be camping with a medium tank that runs 50 kph and that its main key is to position itself on the map)

It's a similar style of play to Leopard 1, they're even from the same tech tree line.

You'll be the annoying guy spamming shots at medium range and chasing enemy good mobility tanks with your teammates.

Playing in a squad on call with a fellow countryman helps a lot to win more matches. Two tanks complementing each other and communicating well can change a game.

I played in a particularly similar tank (STA-1), a Japanese medium tank in the same tier as the Panther II with a slightly better gun, cardboard armor, an insanely tall vehicle, and with inferior speed and maneuverability. I got two Ace Masteries by doing the tips above.
