121B specifically I think main thing to say is that its got good and trolly armour (for a medium), so if you in close combat just drive and wiggle around a lot and you will get a lot of bounces.

They have the same stats. It’s just that the snowstorm went into the game before camo’s existed, so the “camo” on the snowstorm was literally baked into the model itself. Once camos became a thing, instead of just removing the camo from the model and making it a camo (like they did with the Type 62 Dragon) they just made JT 88, the unskinned version, a totally separate tank. Similar story for the T34 and T34 Independence

I actually designed a tank a long time ago for a mod that was never used. It had huge front wheels and all this extra armor up front, and double cannons, plus a heavy auto cannon and a mortar launcher.

It was meant to quickly close in on assault tanks attacking your base and be able to resist their heavy attacks with its front armor

i think fv301 and its tech tree is the best light tanks you can grind when you try to practice light, it have troll armor that forgive you for making mistake and its a lot better in general. ru 251 is not a forgiving tank both for you and the enemy so its a high risk high reward tanks

All you have to do is shoot its bubbles and boom dead. The best thing to do is angle it around corners to hide all the vulnerable bits. The front plate is pretty highly armored and bounces a lot.

Unless an HTC has a good player. They can angle the tank away from your gun to make sure you're shooting parts that aren't vulnerable. They can also use its weight to pin you against a wall so you can't move. The Cannon is also pretty good at gutting a tanks innards and ripping it out the other side. They can gut your engine, crew, treads, like ripping a fish hook through you.

Once I gutted a tiger completely. I destroyed every module it had and then put it out of its misery.

Well you're missing the point, it's actually good if you know how to use it correctly. It has a wide rotation for the front cannon, which means you can take advantage of the front armor and angle it so only the tip is showing. I have bounced two to three thousand damage with that tank

As long as your team does its job and you can stay just behind the front line, you can keep the enemy at bay, and support the front line with that tank while bouncing plenty of shots.

They always try to pull this move where they think it can outmaneuver you and run circles around you even if they have to try to race between you and a wall. All you have to do is predict what they're going to do and position yourself.

Either that or you can back yourself into a corner so they can't do that. And if they try to pull up next to you to shoot you in the engine just rotate and pin them.

It has a lot of potential when it's used as a support for the front line, but if the front line falls apart so does the HTC. I think that's what people have trouble grasping about that tank. They think it should hold its own but that's not how that tank works.

I remember once I saw a VK 100.01 on the other side of a cliff and the turret was the exact same height as a cliff. So I drove my HTC on top of it, but he got mad so I backed up. For a start, you were shot on the first minute of the match, sooooo you lied about not getting hit for the whole battle

You were hit, you were just not penetrated, but I'll explain each shot that bounced you

You did particularly good damage because the enemy had far easier targets to shoot at before those targets died, so you weren't under any threats while you dealt damage.

This can be called "farming your teammates" because they take the hits while you get to deal damage for free.

You were bounced a lot because IS has really nice armor, generally, plus you used sidescraping. T29 had a 90mm gun, so it had less penetration than the 105mm gun, so it was more likely to bounce you. The Chieftain that bounced you at the first minute wasn't very patient when aiming, and probably got bad RNG
The SU-152 just has very low penetration, and apparently didn't know to use HEAT against you

Of course, eventually you fell to the terrible odds of a 1v3 with two full HP targets, as well as a very inaccurate gun. I'm sure you saw why you died to T-43, but you live (or die) and you learn

Basically, the ideal is some sort of high alpha, well armored tank that can slow down the pace of the fight. As long as the 113 isn’t given the chance to fully apply his DPM, he’s a lot less dangerous

In this game, the goal is to find a tank you enjoy and play it. It could be any tank, it could be as high up as a e100 or is7, or something low tier like a t1 heavy and m4 sherman.

Higher tier tanks are strong, but your enemies are even stronger, you will not win much if you don’t have a lot of game knowledge in tier 10.

So, do not rush to tier 10, focus on learning how to play the games, including basic and advanced skills. Otherwise you will regret playing in tier X.

If you find a tank you really enjoyed in, for example like T1 heavy, or a Tiger 1, or even Hetzer, Keep them. When you are in a losing streak you can always go back and play the tanks you liked

And all tiers except tier 9 and 10 can make quite a amount of credits, even without premium account or boosters, so remember to keep some tanks so you can earn credits faster

Never sell gold tanks (also called as premium tanks) or collector tanks, no matter what. They are extremely good at earning credits.

Also it’s alright to grind to the jg e100, but be prepared that there are a lot of strong enemies in tier 9 and 10. You will most likely win less in these tiers

For tech tree, E50m, m48, T62A and stb-1 fit those requirements.

But they are not easy to drive, you will find more problems to handle when you play these tanks.

Slower options also include is7, t110e5 and is4. These are some of the faster heavy tanks while still having good armor and ok guns in the tech tree. That’s why they are very good for beginners

The Panther M10 needs a buff. Its armor is objectively poor, it’s gun has the same DPM as panther but much less penetration, it’s power to weight is lower, the hull traverse is 15 degrees slower, and it has 40m less view range. The only thing it has going for it, if you can even call it an advantage, is 2 more degrees of gun depression, which you can’t even use because the armor is garbage, and a bit better camo rating.

You simply don’t play that line for its armor in general, T10 included. The turret is overall solid but not without weakspots. Sidescraping in it is risky since the side armor isn’t good

we're still in the heavy meta
but they can definitely make a bigger impact than meds

Maybe with really good team play, but meds are vastly superior for pubs due to having better guns

And lights DEFINITELY suffer from diminishing returns on their mobility, compared to fast meds

It's so situational to get more value out of that extra 5 kph compared to a medium's double armor thickness or vastly superior dpm
