You don't use it as an autoloader, you use it as a high DPM 122 gun while sneaking in reloads.
7.5s is fast enough where you can slap even 105mm HTs twice, then pop a reload while pretending you still have a shot, trying to "find a shot". Maybe even pull back after like 10s or whatever. By the time people figure out youre reloading you nearly have 3 new shells. And if youre hulldown youre hard to get rid of

3.4 second aiming time is quite sucky for a tank that has to hit all it's shots to be effective. Its already difficult enough to get into position to use all 4 shells with your long intra clip, you shouldn't struggle with accuracy too.
why would you run refined gun on AMX 50, then you would be completely unable to hit anything that isn't stationary In the open.

Also unlike FV 4005, you don't have reticle calibration nor do you have the pen to cut through upper plates further emphasizing the need for good accuracy.

yeah but it has no side armor, it can't sidescrape and has a less useable turret then the E 100, you can just "drive forward and shoot" in the E 100 and that will work just fine too, except the E 100 can also just sit behind a corner and block shells or rotate its turret to hide weakspots which the VK can't do, the VK is more venerable and much easier to kill then the E 100, so it does take more skill to output as much as the E 100 if you are playing the VK 72, but to output the same as the VK 72 in the E 100, that's easy

you need a brain to make E100's armor works. for VK72 you just press W and shoot. not because of skill. but because the tank physically can't do anything besides that.
the same positioning and map awareness you apply for the E100 the VK72 gets.
in E100 you are given the option to use more of your skill and angle your armor(you eventually have to shoot which means deangling), angling sure did get easier for the e100 after the turret buff though.
VK72 gets tungsten, E100 gets some armor(which just press 2 to negate anyway).

Just look at the IS-3 and Obj. 252u, the 252 has a whole lotta armor that is incredibly forgiving, does it take skill to use armor? No, you can sit somewhere and you can get bounces, what about IS-3? Yeah you can sit somewhere and get bounces off the turret, both can hulldown, if both hulldown then they used map knowledge which is skill
But just sitting somewhere isn’t skill, and IS-3 will die alot faster if they sit somewhere compared to the 252, you can be a idiot and get away with more in the 252 then the IS-3

So compare that to the VK 72 and E 100, you can both hulldown or frontlike and whatever, but the E 100 is way more forgiving to less skilled people then the VK 72 in the same sense

I had a great battle in Big Boss earlier tonight. My team won. I was the least effective player on our team. I am actually new and only a few months into this game. The Big Boss on the losing team gave me a thumbs up. I felt great and thought this polite and sportsman like gesture was truly nice. chieftain mk6 is actually a chieftain mk 2 (as you can see by the additional mg on the side)
the mk 6 is basically just a mk 2 that was turned into the standards of the mk 5 1975 variant, which had a 750hp engine and only 2 mg's, why there isnt an IR light as well as an externally mounted mg on the mk 6 model no clue, should be there though considering it was just a mk 2 modified into a mk 5 (which had both of those things)
also the british mainly focused on getting as much stowage as the crew and soldiers on the ground supporting the tank needed, so there should be a 2nd stowage on the right hand side of the turret as is seen on the left side of the turret in game
the fact it was mk 6 and not mk 5 bothered me as the mk 5 was the final production variant, but wg went a lil' copypasta ig

they should seriously add a tech tree variant, there is so many unique chieftain versions

I don't understand Bat-Chat players. The AMX 13 are good, but Bat-Chat is so irrelevant. Every damn stat can be countered by any other light or med. It can have damage output, but it sacrifice so much for that dpm that other lights use dpm better.
I don't care about my own stats on it, I might just be too dumb to play this tank correctly, I care about my allies performance in that tank. They never perform good no matter what map, no matter which end of my gun they are. it's worse than Sheridan.

it is not really hard to impact the battle in a chieftain or an E6 though
it is as simple as go medium side and slaughter them

I guess my logic is that it's easier to impact the battle if you have a more defined role as opposed to being a jack of all trades

With something like a super heavy or a hulldown medium, the game is pretty one dimensional and you just have a set play for every map that you can get impact from more often than not

With a heavium there's some more decisions to make early game, and late game you don't have as much mobility and DPM as a normal med to pull off a flank

heaviums give you more tools to work with, hence that makes them capable of impacting the battle more than a traditional tank.

not all heaviums are good though so there is some merit to your point

I think my standards are a bit different when comparing heaviums to heavies and heaviums to meds

Where they have a lower average impact than conventional heavies, due to being harder to play
But also a lower ceiling impact than meds, because of the aforementioned lower DPM and mobility

As someone who mains meds, I've gotten good enough at them to reach their ceiling relatively frequently, which leaves me rather underwhelmed when playing heaviums

Granted I sold all of mine so I can't even play them anymore lol

well then i agree, because not all heaviums can flexibly switch between classes
what caught my eyes was the chieftain and E6 because these too can work as either class pretty well
