Explanation on how 2025 winter auction works

JUST TO CLARIFY HOW AUCTIONS WORK:
TIMEWASTING phase: 20 hours, no bid can be placed, all u can do is look at the minimum price
FOMO phase: 2 hours, bidding opens
BEGATHON phase: up to 2 hours, every new bid resets a 10 mins timer.

This auction is blind, meaning u will not know what the top bids are, AKA if want something, ur going to overpay insanely. Basically exploiting FOMO.

You pay what u bid, so if u overpay by 5 million credits, wg eats it. Yummy.

You get a guide of what bid u should place. A “competitive bid” would be shown when FOMO phase starts, so the minimum price shown at the start is meaningless. The competitive bid is supposed to reflect the ASSUMED price of the 75th percentile of all bids (if there’s 1000 bids, the competitive price is the price of the top 250th bid.).

We are in real life tho, so expect the real competitive bid to be at least 25% to 50% higher than the listed competitive bid.

Expect prices to skyrocket, especially in this order: CREDIT>FREE XP>GOLD>PAID CURRENCY(only available if u pay, like golden tickets)

Camo will be compensated only in credits.

My advice: unless u have 1.5X the listed competitive bid, or 5-10x the minimum bid, don’t bother, ur not winning the auction

I dont mind the lack of tungsten, great for brawling honestly, the cupola shape also makes it harder to hit, you can also sidescrape rather efficiently with it if you know what youre doing, BUT yeah it is slow and it can get outmaneuvered by LTs or MTs alot of the time, you do get the privilege of blocking shots using your gun however, since its long and also quite wide and thick to block shots
