Use positions like these. The pershing is pretty good if you keep moving and hide your hull

The cheeks are weak on the pershing but moving makes it harder to hit and it will ricochet basically most shots

The gun is nice on the pershing I really like it

That's good calibrated shells are the best equipment gun rammer is good but only with a player who knows how to play the tank like an expert, about ammo i think around 7-8 shells are enough mostly if you stick in your line with mediums its not gonna be in that much of use if you go to the heavies which still you wont use more than 8 shells

Anything with good turret armor like the vickers and so on will be almost invincible from the front if you play like this and move around (so they dont hit the cupola)

Though that last position is called turret down not hull down (less room to aim lower)

I think you're just completely overthinking it. Hulldown means you hide your hull from enemy's view. That's all there is to it. Turret down can be called hulldown, it is just more specific to cases where the turret also gets hidden in most parts.

umm i run calb on every tank except tds, and then defense system, view range, enhanced gun laying drive, because you don't need extra bullet velocity (you're not sniping i hope), enhanced armor, improved engine (is2sh has weak engine) , then vstabs, toolbox, cooldown delivery system
