Have you ever even played the tank in the last year or so? Seems like you didnt, otherwise you couldnt say this. Except maybe a few specific cases you just cannot hide your turret roof, which is paper on the raac. Even in full hulldown you still have the right side of the turret with 230 mm, which is easy pen for any tier 8 with gold ammo. You have to stay still for a little while to shoot, because the gun handling is trash, which gives the enemy an opportunity to hit you there. You have a hard time penetrating anyone and even if you do, you hit them for 190 or 160 with apcr. If a tank like 590 just perpetually shoots he shells into your turret, he will still hit you for like 100 each time and you can do nothing about it, the armor cannot protect you against splash from he shells, plus it will break your gun or kill your crew, so you will waste repair and med kits. A tank like raac has 0 chance against a tank like 590 on flat ground and even in hulldown

Definetely , the fact that most medium and light tanks , even heavies at times , struggle to pen it definetely does not prove my point.You seem to just struggle with the tank and not seem to be able to position properly because the tank is completely fine , and honestly is probably the only T8 medium tank with such armor characteristics 🤦‍♂️

It may not be the best , it may get beaten by mk1 , but my point still stands , 5/1 is definetely in the top mediums and any players with a brain would perform in it

There is a view range indicator in the game, so long as the circle is only shown on the minimap for my view range I would think that is fine. It's more of a convenience thing.

I think it would be allowed. Since every tank has some amount of camo simply having your own view range doesn't tell you when you will spot tanks. You still have to estimate when you will get spotted or will spot the enemy. And that is if it is even long enough range
