Years ago if it was supremacy mode and one team was at 996 and the other at 992, or just anything close that caps in like 3 seconds can give points for, the battle didn’t end until like 4 seconds after Team 1 hits 1000. Meaning if the other team hit 1000 also after like 2 seconds it was a draw💀

Personally I liked that it did that

Because there were so many close games back then that were won exclusively because one person chose a mobile medium and the other chose a slow heavy, and it defeated the whole “medium to win” narrative ((I.e. if that medium wanted to win because they can circle they were forced to try or else it became a draw, not let them scurry around and win))

Same for the large maps, it extended games out and there were a lot of draws or longer games

When they moved to making tanks with high mobility and troll turrets meta and gun depression is found on MOST tanks as opposed to a rare few, of course the old maps feel bad. But having maps that breaks the whole “go med side to win” meta is what we need. Plus view range as a whole has increased over the years so you can spot people far on those maps; back then you needed the OG equipment to spot people on these maps like binocs or view ports had larger bonuses cuz you could only pick 3 to buff not 9

My buddy showed me a glitch/bug that’s going on and makes it so games don’t count toward fun marks… NOT exploit, but something to be aware of in case you make the same mistake and wonder why you aren’t getting any progress:

if you send someone a platoon invite and they deny the platoon it WONT track your games, because it’s programmed to not change if in a platoon. The ONLY way to fix that is to properly join a platoon with someone and then LEAVE the platoon you actually created. Then it will fix and count
