This is more of a minor thing but I also wish people thought about their TD more. Being a TD does not automatically mean sitting at the back and sniping.
Off the top of my head, seeing T110E3 drivers sit at the back sniping. I’m just there like, why even drive the E3 then? It’s supposed to be a more aggressive TD that you can play similar to a heavy. But they treat it as a glass cannon lmao

thats fine. What took my paper TD gameplay to a better level was learning when to be aggressive with them. The average player will just sit at the back all game but that isn’t always effective.
Like on Dead Rail for example, a lot of times in something like a Skorpion G, I will go aggressive on the med side flank and start shooting into the side or support my meds etc.

Lots of these paper TDs have decent mobility to allow for repositioning and aggressive plays the enemy team doesn’f expect.
I think this is one of the more annoying things to learn because it’s easy to be too aggressive or aggressive at the wrong time and you get completely punished for it. However, if you manage to pull off aggressive plays consistently in your paper TDS, you’ll start farming much more damage and wins

I used both guns equally, the gameplay differs massively with each gun. The only reason 450 gun is usable is reticle caliberation running with currently buffed improved consumables. You get to dump 2 clips with very good accuracy

the TVP is very much trading it's DPM for dump time, it's more situational than any other clipper MT/LT since the others are autoreloaders or just reload faster, resulting in it being more situational than them, not to mention it's absolutely horrid handling
It's essentially going to be able to punish less when it does get an opportunity to use its clip in exchange for mitigating some of the other attributes of the gun which are horrendous accross the board
I don't see how that's going to make it more toxic

Let me give you a wot pc example: wt.e100 on wot was a 6 shot autoloader, so toxic that it had to be removed from game but before removing, wg tried many things with it: reduced shells to 5, didn't matter (less clip potential), reduced shells to 4, didn't matter.
Went back to 5 shells with increased time between shells, was kinda successful but the reduced clip reload time ruined it. So in the end it was removed.

the TVP still has absolutely garbage stats on everything else which hurts it's effectively as a quick 3 shot clipper since it's handling is so bad it spends half a eternity aiming

My main issue with wn8 is that it depends on the tanks you play and some stats like "average damage per minute????" are counted which is stupid

wn8 heavily relies on WINRATE. Therefore iti is nonsense. When i play platoon my wn8 is higher. No wonder pros always not only have high WR but also high WN8 because they platoon all the time. of course u win 80% of battles and therefore have amazing wn8

I see it on myself. Several years ago i compared myself to some really good players in specific tanks where i played good. my WN8 was always significantly lower than theirs only because my WR was lower. Even when most other stats were higher it was lower.

WN8 is designed to measure you impact on winning, that‘s why it‘s called ‚Winrate Normalised‘. Hence it is being a good predictor if it correlates with the winrate despite winrate being a rather secondary factor

Me being the best player in my team by making advanced WOTB plays still getting bad wn8 because i actually play with and especially for my team and not for myself. Results in bad wn8. Rigged scam measurement for pro players

To be honest. Nowadays i do not play good anymore. I really play quite bad. Still better than the usual wotb player but for me very very bad. But even when I really played good and was able to dominate consistently my wn8 was behind. Like bro what. My best time was like 2022-2023 idk bro what. For comp my best time was 2019-2021.
