Next time just imagine you have no armor, because truthfully... you really don't at close range. The angling is negated by having the opponents looking down on you. In retrospect, your armor gets worse the closer you are to the enemy.

Second line support or even sniping during the early game. Don't get baited by the funny mechanic. You still pack 400 alpha past 200 meters. In practice, you'll most likely be dwelling at the 120-200m mark, in which case you still have 3k dpm with 500 alpha. It's not stellar by td standards, but more than workable.

Once there's an opening or your team pushes, that's your chance to move up close and do the funny 700/10 second thing. Let your heavies soak up the hits, that's their job.

Another thing nice to know is the reload time of other vehicles. At 10 seconds base... you can comfortably trade 2 for 1 against a surprisingly large amount of opponents. Make sure both your shots connects tho, or else you aren't maximizing your hp value.

I don't blame you, apcr standard is quite underwhelming. The reason you feel this way most likely has to do with the extremely low caliber of only 85mm as it's a rifled gun. Factoring the three caliber overmatch rule, 85mm doesn't give you much leeway.

You do get 380mm of base premium pen however, and you're realistically only losing 100 alpha at 50m, or about 60 alpha past 200m. If you're in doubt, just load gold and watch their armour turn gray.

Btw I am giving my opinion by thinking you are a newbie.
If you are somewhat experienced player then get Sheridan. Hori needs no skill. Just shoot and camp. Tbh both line doesn't need skill.
So in the end you should grind what you think is better. 😭
Personally I suggest hori if it's between sher and hori for newbie.

but when you actually see more players in the battles I'd recommend for you to just drive in a group

That’s something you’ll learn with time. The way I always read the beginning of the game; you can play to your enemy team’s weaknesses or to your own team’s strengths. Either way, it’s best not to go somewhere alone. You’ll have an easier time reading the teams and maps as you grow. Would not expect this to happen until you get to tier V though - tier III and below is just chaos games, tier IV can go either way 🙈😂

And, never hesitate to ask questions. Be mindful of trolls, but most of us here are happy to help give pointers and tips and tricks

I kinda understand m5yoh's problem, the tank is just squishy and the only time it is possible to bounce is when it is hulldown, but you really need to look at the tank shooting you, even then the turret has a not-so-small cupola as a free hit

At the time i was grinding that line, that specific tank gave me the most headache

But people can also be inactive for various reasons: a call from their mom, low battery, connection lost, suddenly had to leave...

In my opinion that's very ignorant. You can't force that on everyone. Yes it's unfortunate when you get an afk in your game, but keep in mind that assuming you're doing fine, there's only 6 other chances on your team to have potatoes, while the enemy has 7 chances

well I have T9 just because I dont like much the tree (but slowly have to finish it) and in my opinion its too slow or it has not too much dmg.

Have no idea how about T10 but probably the similiar one. I know its strong for not good players, but even sheridan is strong for not good players :D. And to be honest mobility would be really nice at least for T8 and T9 28km/h is trash and everyone in this speed will probably penetrate u even in small spot down from front

Its just sad. Instead of improving game they totally screw it. No food for tanks, no more good credits for battle, no more normal tank research, but some nonsence sets. But imo worst is now everyone can buy collectors just with golds, feel almost like spit in face of everyone who payed money on some lootbox for getting tank. If they really going release this, it going to loose major of its player base including me.
