Typically game servers are located in Hong Kong or Singapore for most companies. It does vary ofc. Sometimes you get servers in Japan or Australia if the player volume is large enough. If you are far away from these places then you will have bad ping. Also depends on your ISP. If it is trash like spectrum then too bad for you, nothing is going to get you good ping
