it actually would a lot because theyre not aero(hydro)dynamic, have you seen videos of bullets in water? its the samne thing but theyre faster so it would be less, but a bullet can go from lethal speed to none in like 2-3 meterers

You can't compare a normal hand gun's bullet, that weighs less than 50g, to the force of a tank shell

its not about the weight because a tank shell ios actually LESS dense sine its explosive instead of solid metal, even though its going faster it'[s still about as aerodynamic

Your tank would need to be fully underwater for that same water to be even able to slow down a tank shell enough, and we all know tanks ingame drown if they do that

I don't think you understand the statement of "tank would need to be fully underwater", it's a statement of scale, of how much distance would there need to be for water to affect a tank shell enough

when you fire you fire from your gun at their bottom hull (assuming you cant penetrate the top) which causes you to fire at an angle regardless of water

The 50TP also has weak turret hatches to hit, and when you are moving as slow as you do when you are in the water, hitting those hatches is very easy
