Every time i try to do hulldown, i get no support from teammates (yet for hulldown you supposedly need support). And a lot of positions are badly placed and thus i get almost nothing to attack or "utilize the armor"

The in game reticle is not where the gun is aiming, it’s where the shell lands. So no, you’re not aiming lower, but the shell will hit lower, so the reticle which shows where the shell will land will go lower.

Its not meta, needs a better gun. But you still can enjoy the V4. If you can make the armour work
If you sit still, people will pen you, but if you wiggle around and bait shots into your side cheeks, its armour is super good.
Only issue you have funnily enough is when people can HEAT pen your lower plate, thats when its almost impossible to tank incoming fire. So you pull back and just try to trade with reactive.

The only thing that happened was that the pen-loss over distance was fixed. It didn't have that at one point iirc. The only thing that happened was an indirect buff to Heat and nerf to HE. Due to the equipment-changes, Heat shells get more pen boost from calibrated shells while He get a little less.

Suggestion: Destroy the opponent vehicle if the shell's max damage is higher or equal to the opponent vehicle's HP.
It just makes sense to shoot your opponent and when your max damage is higher to destroy your opponent instead of leaving them with a very low health that our allies will then take the kill.

I wouldn't want that tbf. The rng for shell damage and pen is always +/- 25%, why take the surprise factor out of the equation? That just helps to generate more interesting gameplay and more chances to carry

310 HP, say.
The entire enemy team is 1-shot to you. You just gotta survive one midroll.
And then you get penned by an MT and auto-destroyed because the MT's max damage was slightly higher than your current HP.

You had everything you needed to win and got robbed by an unfair game mechanic.

You can still win games at 10 HP.
You can do comebacks.

Yea, HE is another thing.

The 183 has 1600 HE damage.
That's literally half of a tank's HP.
And full HP for some T9 LTs.
Getting 1-shot by a 183 HE shell splash when you didnt deserve to go down would make people quit.
