The exp from dmg dealt, also scales from the distance at which you are shooting at the enemy. The further the distance, the lower the exp you get, and you are clearly shooting from afar as you got the sniper badge.

If you're with your team like you're supposed to, your enemies will overextend and get severely touched if they try to push over the hill, you're talking as if you're alone. Even if your teammates are creature features, the simple presence of them would stop anyone who doesn't have straight tunnel vision for you from overextending hard

The normal engine boost (let's not even talk about the free version), does NOT increase top speed. It increases the engine power, which means

1. you'll accelerate slightly faster. It's good for meds in mines for example, to reach the hill maybe 0.5s quicker.
2. climbing a hill doesn't reduce your speed as much

That's all it does. It does not change a thing for tanks that can already reach their top speed easily
