I think the E3 is significantly easier to pen frontally, actually has a weakspot on the hatch now and is also slower so it's still not on the same level as the WZ 113G-FT

It is annoying to get slapped by chimera for 440 and it is annoying to dig up cent raac from a hulldown position, but chimera no longer has reactive nor reticle cali and the armor is nowhere as strong as it used to be 4-5 years back. Cent raac has a strong turret, but some tier 8 heavies and tds can still pen it with gold, the gun is honestly pretty bad, the alpha, dpm and handling and when it is not in hulldown position, it is just a big paper box

I don't think you understand how bot MM works.
Bot MM (aka newbie mm, same thing) is its own separate matchmaking. This and the normal don't mix up (hold up that thought for later). But it doesn't mean it is uniform across all tiers.
Between tier 1 and 7 included, you'll mostly face bots. Literal bots, and a few players. From experience it can be 4 real players per team max. BUT, at tier 8 and above, you'll never meet any real bots, but you only face players that are also in the same newbie mm, which means they're mostly clueless people.
Now, where does that bot mm ends? It officially ends at 5k, but in reality between 5k and 5.5k, there's a transitionnal period where you get both mm in more or less random. It completely stops after 5.5k.

About holding that thought, it is because in reality both mm can mix up if the normal don't have enough players. It regularly happens during midnight for example.
