well, in other games, yes, in blitz there is not much point to rating, u get close to no rewards, the matchmaking is not skill based. higher chance of meeting better players in randoms cuz if ur high elo , game gives u a 2k teammate to average out the teams. in league, dota etc, all pro players are top ranks usually xD

Tbh, it shouldn’t necessarily be seen as “heavy” or “med” flank. You should look at every battle separately and go somewhere depending on where your team goes and your and the enemy team composition

Go where you feel you will do well and where it’ll secure victory. That’s not necessarily to a specific “tank class” side, as supporting your team or just being there to spot and troll can be as important as doing the actual damage

One more idea actually, how many battles have you played since the update? ive found loading time can be longer after updates cause the game deletes the cached files and has to "re-cache" them, playing one battle on each map might fix the loading issue

Wargaming needs to have some kind of tutorial on this as it's a very important part of game play, the fact that you don't understand hull down after 6 years puzzles me.
Most players with strong hull down tanks like the American heavies for example will go straight to towns flat terrain, the way they're spawned, where their tanks strongest ability is pretty much useless.

I blame wg for this lack of information and communication with players.
