I’ve played the Tiger II before the first round of buffs, and even back then I prioritized the long 105 because I valued penetration over DPM.
Back then, the short 105 had a faster reload and thus on paper more DPM. But it didn’t have the penetration against same tier and tier 9 tanks with armor. Even most tier 7 heavies could resist it reliably enough.

Coming from a competitive player, the 3 shot is more versatile in most cases v the 4 shot. in blitz, winning trades is huge, and you cant do that with 4 shell gun

Every second you hold a clip with the 4 shot, your dpm gets murdered.
It doesnt matter as much in the 3 shot because most of its dpm is from that first clip.

Think of it like this.
Your dpm bonus only matters if you're constantly spamming shots all game.

Rino being an autoreloader gives it a significant edge over the VZ 55.

Unlike the VZ, the Rino doesnt stop shooting once its clip is dumped.

the vz triumphs with it's clip dump dmg a lot

however the rino has a better hulldown armour profile, while the vz has it better on flat ground

In a normal gameplay experience (Random Pubs) Rino will always take the edge due to its flexibility.

The SP2 is a Td on PC and Console, the 116 exists as Autoloader on PC and has "Highlander 116 F3" on console, both as HT's.
