Imo, you should never buy a bundle specifically for crates. If price to gold ratio on the bundle is better than what you'd pay for buying a regular gold bundle, that is the point when it becomes worthwhile. Bare in mind I have a massive crate gambling addiction and have probably spent thousands of pounds on Blitz over my 10 years of play time.
