People say that cause they are not the brightest at the game. Mino Is foolproof against those allergic to good aim and premium ammo. Not to mention it does slap you back for 900+. 40%ers experience This when facing a mino, Which makes them think it's strong.

Case in point with the vk90, such a mid tank in today's meta but you'll see people glazing that armor all the time

My preferred playstyle is generally ridgelining - that works too, but you have to mind the turret turning limitation. But basically, use cover and movement to make it harder to hit you. Piles of rubble and tank corpses work too

the tank on photo( wz-112-2) actually is a russian tank named Kirovets-1
it uses a modified hull of the is-3 so the frontal armour is normally sloped instead of it being a pike

907 is sort of like a more armoured 140 with tracer in return for less dpm, so if you enjoy t100 you would probably enjoy 907 too, and yes the 7 degrees+ tracer is very nice especially since the turret will get a decent amount of bounces from standard rounds
