@tulip juniper It used to be that apcr usually had better shell velocity than other ammo types. Nowadays it mostly isnt true or at least the difference compared to ap and heat isnt that big. Also the pen drop with distance is annoying. Basically apcr is just worst ap. Heat doesnt go through most obstacles and most spaced armor, but it has no autoricochet and pen drop with distance, so if you hit, you know you will pen, unlike with apcr, with which you hit and still dont pen, because haha troll angle or big distance or something. Heat also gets bigger pen boost with calibrated
