since u get like 1 legendary for each 10 crate, our eqn becomes x+ (x/10) * 27=2700, solving it we get 729.7...

lets check if this si correct, 730+ (730/10) * 27=2701...so yes If I didn't make a mistake u will need 730 crates in the worst to worst to worst case scenenrio for the new BZ

I don't mind it personally. There are definitely issues with the way things are at the moment. Some of them are being addressed according to the recent feedback post. I'll try to summarize what I like and don't like.
Graphics. It looks fine, having the visuals modernized is great and I assume more optimizations will come soon. The game did look a little blurry at times so idk about that. People say current blitz looks better but I disagree. The finished maps like canal look far better.
Sets. I am actually for them. It's a good system that we would not have issues with if the game shipped with it in 2014. I didn't like some of the related UI tho.
Commanders. I like that they won't be visible in the garage anymore. Crew system needed an overhaul for a while now, and commanders may not be exactly what I wanted but assuming they are tested and balanced well, they should be fine, meta will shift but meta shifts every year anyways.
Physics. There are a few issues with what feels like reduced ramming and fall dmg but it's a great thing as a whole, they do need to tweak these values which I didn't see any mention of in the feedback announcement.

I am cautiously optimistic for the whole update. I am worried most about the steel currency being given too little per day and costing too much credits. I'll decide if I want to continue playing when we come near the end of testing or after reforged releases

I looked into a bit of the sets, it seems very complicated to locate a tank. Also, having nation based tech tree's allow greater connection with history and evolution, which the game is built upon. What are a few points for sets that would benefit players over tech tree's?
Also, commanders will require alot of credits. Will making credits in the game be easier to compensate for it? How is wg planning to balance both commanders and tanks?

Sets in some ways slow down player progress a bit which has become quite an issue lately. They do this by needing players to actually get XP in the current sets they unlocked to get more keys to unlock other sets. And more difficult sets and sets that have the top tier as tier 7(current tier 10) are unlocked at higher player levels and player levels are earned from leveling up a set in the first place. It should also allow for better tank grouping based on tank roles and play styles rather than just nations. Although I don't agree with some of the set classifications being expert or hard when they are easy or vice versa. Similarly some tanks still don't fit their sets.

Being able to skip certain tanks by playing other tanks in a set. Like for example you don't like kv4 so you can just grind with kv3 enough until you hit st1. Ofc this does open up the possibility of some player having lack of experience in higher tiers but that's already the case and I prefer this over being forced to drive mediocre or awful tanks for dozens of battles or spend a lot of fxp to skip currently. Premiums also help progress in this way.

As for finding tanks in sets, that's definitely an issue that also faced. Tank carousel is back and there are probably more changes to the UI so we're will see how that turns out. Although searching tanks using the search bar wasn't that difficult either if you knew what the tank is called

Also having to display 650 tanks in a tech tree can end up pretty messy, I think grouping that many tanks in smaller groups and tabs can arguably be better than having them scattered on like 7-8 pages.
I don't think tech tree system is bad by any means, I just wanted to point out that sets aren't bad either and has it's own merits.

It will be easier to enrich tanks in the future although it'll still cost a lot. Oh yeah which reminds me of another one of my issues with the update. They plan on making ranked as the default gamemode and let you earn significantly more in ranked. I don't remember how much it costs to level up commanders but it's supposed to replace a system that takes even longer to level up. Can't say much about balancing. Wg reps stated that they overbuffed commanders during the test on purpose but idk to what end. I also don't know if new commander skills will be super tested or just dropped in the live game directly
