Now for general gameplay, you'll either want to play on the medium flank, or second-line the heavy flank depending on the map and team composition. This'll have to happen based on personal judgement so it's something you'll learn as you go.
If you're on the heavy flank, you want to leave most of the blocking to teammates with more armour, and instead support them with your dpm. On certain maps you can also take very good positions ahead of your team but I can't list every single one of them
If you're on the medium flank, you have a bit more freedom to move around and apply pressure on the enemy but you still have to be careful since mediums will still outmanoeuvre you
Other things like the low gun depression can be mitigated with good positioning
