how to get: from event. during this time you get event coin by yeeting your tank airborne in match
every 1 sec of total airborne time is 1 coin, if the jump is shorter than 1 sec it still counts cumulatively, but you must be going fast during take off, slowly driving off a cliff dont count
and you get "The General" for free with 15 event coins. or if you lazy, the General Container gives you 1 coin or with a 5% chance, getting the tank outright.
the extra coins can be exchanged for other reward
new fun event, WG gets to sell another container, grinders can get it for free, everyone happy.

tier 6 light with a big gun, nonexistant gun handling, very slow turret traverse, but is fast and drifty
and it has a unique mechanic: when track is destroyed, it can still drive, with faster speed but altered handling

in the track destroyed state, it goes faster, but the traction is very low and you basically can only turn by go fast enough and start drifting, if you go too slow it can barely turn at all, and obviously cannot turn when not moving. tracks in this tank is repaired 2X slower.

there is a unique free consumable that basically lets you purposefully break your track when you need to reach a spot quick and not need to manuver in tight space

let me be clear, premium tanks having optional guns is completely fine and i don't mind that, but the optional guns on other prems are sidegrade instead of being straight upgrade

KV-5 for example, the stock gun might be useless half of the time but it's very viable in modes where penetration doesn't matter, like Gravity/Gravitizing because everyone is flying and flanking each other

the IS-6's D-30A also falls into the same category, less penetration, more DPM, viable in gamemodes

the Jagdtiger 8,8 with the 8,8cm on the other hand, gets less dpm, less penetration, less damage, less accurate, and aims slower

i just wish WG would make it viable to run the gun, or just change the tank name to Jagdtiger 10,5cm

235mm pen is pretty low for a TD but you gotta remember that the Jagdtiger 8,8 main strength is the DPM, you have to keep pressuring your enemy with the combination of fast reload + decent damage
