Here are the things that actually made me much better at the game rather than aimlessly playing and blaming it on the tank / team

AIM, AIM, AIM, if you can't hit / penetrate, do not shoot even if there's an urge to, unless you are certain that you are already reloaded when you face an enemy tank
(Does not apply to the passing in Fort Bay MT side, The city thing? The bridge area passing)

Look around when you're not going to shoot

When you can't do anything (just sitting or basically nothing at all) Look at the minimap and look where you can go to deal dmg

If you're an MT / LT / TD and you the enemy ____ is still not spotted although they should have been for some moments ago

HT: they probably have pushed to the medium side, prepare for retreat / relocation
MT: You can push MT side, but be careful since there's still TDs

Enemy low on HP? Can't pen? Use HE. (Recommended for 120mm+ guns)

Do not rush early positions, might get rushed by not getting enough team's fire support

Read enemy line-up, no you cannot face a T-62A and an STB 1 with your Object 84, consider holding the position (if you have TD / HT / MT support, but if none or almost none, consider going to HT side)
The same goes for HT. This also is a factor if you're outnumbered by your class (MT/LT and HT, EX: 4 HT vs 3 HT)

If you are passing and you got spotted, there's definitely somone hiding in that bush, if not, you can blindfire and if you didn't get spotted, its less likely for someone being there (Happens usually on MT side if its empty on the first 1 minute)

usually, only 1 other person on your team has any idea what they're doing, not the same on eu and asia. for example, you don't need engine boost to get to a medium flank or spot that would be considered advantageous in a normal blitz meta. what will happen is your meds will stay wayyy back, sit in spawn, or just drive with the heavies. and when you get to that "advantageous spot", it's a coin-toss whether the reds will even be there, or if your team will be there to hold them off. even if your team is there, they don't know what it means to hold, so they'll die one by one or sit back and let you die. it's the classic NA experience. play it, and you'll know.

I am excited for the graphics and physics part of things. But I really don't know about the rest. Commander seem too unbalanced. Well, after seeing the reforged trailer i lost faith in wargaming, my earliest memory being a battle on mines in my pz.jag.1 just to see they would massively rework (and possibly screw up) progression, taking inspiration from war thudner mobile’s squads of vehicles (although you use all of them in a battle rather than only one) it still pains me. The graphics look decent but the lighting is much vibrant, it went from a tank arcade game wanting to be realistic while utilizing HP system to a call of duty with tanks. Might be just being blinded by nostalgia but i do like the physics reworks. Still, not a good tradeoff to massively changing the game
