The V1 was entirely made myself using basic geometry shapes, but I made the mistake of not doing multiple layers so there's still artefacts of badly erased parts there and there 😞

The blitz nation has twelve lines surrounding two lightning bolts (one yellow one black) because I wanted the lines to go strictly up and down I adjusted the design to four lines on top and bottom that go all the way around the barrel to the other side. I want this submission to truly embody the spirit of the Blitz nation. Standing out, and not going with what other tank games do. While other games follow tanks that are realisitic, blitz decided many years ago to not go with the trend. Almost 10 years ago, in fact. So, if these design's are chosen, my only wish is that these marks spin around the barrel of the tank at the start of the battle, and appear like holograms, to continue going against the flow (But only after the third mark is achieved). The final version is in the last image. The main concept for the marks on the barrel comes from the name "Hybrid Nation".
Since all tanks in this tech tree branch take all their in-game experience from other nations, the mark must display hybridity and modularity—something like Lego.

For my entry, i take Inspiration from aircraft victory markings in world war 2 and the cold war. My idea for the guns marks are simple and only needs 2 colors dark olive green for the background and cream for the decals. (just like the aircraft victory markings)

Stage 1: one tank destoryed

Showing a single tank destroyed like an aircraft victory marks, simple and showing experience on killing tanks.

Stage 2: two tanks destoyred

the grey is just used as the background. simple gun marks that work well in line w/ the rest of the gun marks. As the hybrid nation has many different colors of tanks, I went with a neutral color like light gray to being the primary color. The submission also uses a bit of the blitz nation yellow to outline the gun marks, making it unique to its own tech tree line. Finally, black outlines have been added to the stars so they stand out from the rest of the gun barrel. Some of the proportions may be off so those are very much subject to change.

Concept Summary:
I present three different designs for gun markings for the Hybrid Nation—each marking shown from three angles: the side, top, and bottom of the gun barrel.

Description of the work:

1. "Snake" marking—for light tanks (♦).

The idea: I drew inspiration for my mark from the concept of gold. At the first level, the mark is a dark yellow color, representing 18-karat gold, with a basic emblem. At the second level, the emblem evolves into a purer or cleaner gold color (21-karat gold), and the emblem develops with more details signifying achievement. The final level is a bright gold or yellow, representing the purest form of gold (24-karat), with a prominent emblem detailing the player's perfected tank. I hope you like it. Description of the concept: A terrifying radiation lightning bolt wreaks havoc on everything around it.

1st entry: Tribal gold band gun marks wrap all the way around the barrel. The idea is that the second and third gun marks could either start or stop dripping oil as the marks progress. This dripping oil resembles ink—an Easter egg of the marks origin; I come up with the design and tattooed it on my wrist with a paperclip while in the hole in Denver county.

The issue I saw from other designs was that it was not continuous, all around the barrel, as just insignia on each side.
So I drew lines on the barrel as my first concept,
Using curves and modifying the logo to make it a bit more curved and to prevent ss runes.
after more modification i took the wargaming image of the blitznation lightning, removed the background and replaced the more rounded lighting as my final design. (spaced further apart to completely distinguish from ss runes)

The Gunmark was created with Photoshop, vectorized with Inkscape, and transferred to the Gravedigger using Illustrator.

Basic idea/concept- Its pretty simple and the design is based off of the game's logo and colors are based off of Hybrid nation's flag color. I call it Trident Bolt. Just wanted to add something to the simple thunder bolt symbol,so I thought why not make something that resembles trident. I hope you like the simple design and overall color grading.
Also, my drawing is a bit meh and I'm not that good with editing so there's that to keep in mind haha.

Spent wayyy too much effort and time on this so better win something. too tired to give an indepth description:

Came up with the idea of using mastery badges, different classes for different gun marks. Used blitznation lightning bolts to replace the numbers. Spent way too much time clearing every pixel and doing shading to make it look just right.

I kinda forgot to post this a bit earlier so the third one might be tomorrow or really late today depending on your timezone.
Now we are taking a look at the absolute pinnacle of modern engineering, steel bunkers on tracks meant to take hits like they are mere raindrops, those made by a company with a name that perfectly encapsulates the might of their vehicles: The Titan series.
This time I remembered the WIP video, which includes both this one and the previous, just to be safe.
For this one I tried to capture the "advanced engineering" aspect of Titan and keeping an element of their logo, it being the little circle with the triangle/arrow thingy

Ok, I fell asleep last night and did this in kind of a hurry, but here's my last submission. In this occasion we are taking a look at something supernatural... They are not man-made machines made for controlled destruction... They are completely wild and savage monsters come to life, those who take the main spot in your nightmares: The Halloween series. (Also applies to the Wastelanders I think)
The wolf has always been a symbol of the spooky tanks (look at the Uprising pfp for example) so I wanted to make the symbol for your prowess in these vehicles.
I really hope you liked these sort of "dynamic" Marks of Excellence that I came up with, and also hope they're valid to the competition, good luck to you all!
