I went to the Intuit Dome (LA) last yr for BMTH and its literally the first time ever my clear backpack was turned away for being "too big". They really only allowed bags the size of fanny packs 😒 basketball arenas have different rules 🙄 but the security guard said if I had medication, I could have kept my bag 🤦‍♀️

If you want barricade, get there EARLY af. If you want merch, I'd say get there on the early side too. It looks like this is the last stop (besides Sonic). Don't wait till after they play. It's out in the burbs so there's not much great. Rosemont is a big commercial area that a lot of people work and visit, but lower living population.

You have your standard "deep dish"/touristy options including a Giordano's in Rosemont if you want to scratch that itch. It's about 2 miles/5 mins from the arena.

There's a place in Edison Park (about ~12 minutes/5 miles from the Arena) called "Pizza Boy" that makes tavern style that is probably more promising. That or some places in Uptown Park Ridge or Niles are not too far. There's a D'agastinos in Niles too which is a chain here but it's not as cool as say the wrigleyville location.

How close are you looking for and do you have any preference of style?

I’ve been there before but I always get there a little bit before doors open so I haven’t been there early. Do you know if they open their parking lot early too?

Ooo good question about parking. I've seen in the past they open it hours before doors, but I think it's staffing dependent. AA is not great on social so it's a bit of a surprise each time :/

That said, parking price is controlled by the city and is always fixed to $20 25 I believe. Pro tip: if they have the "VIP Volkswagen" lot open in the back, parking can be free if you drive a VW, no strings attached.

I would not park at the target unless you want to get towed. If you go there for a legit reason like before main parking is open and buy something, stick your receipt in the front window. That or park somewhere else in that strip mall if you plan on getting something. Just don't leave it long, because they can get aggressive. Tow prices are terrible in this city too $$$.

Edit: SpotHero has cheaper parking nearby that is like ~10 min walk too at the nearby hotels, also a good option.

The following is verified information, directly from AA today:

If you're getting a ride: Drop-off and pickup are at the NORTH gate.

If you have GA tickets: GA lineup is at the SOUTHEAST corner of the building by the overhead door with the Coors Light sign above it.

If you want early merch: Outdoor merch will be directly around the corner on the EAST side of the building and will be available starting at 2:30pm.

For parking: AA lot opens tomorrow at 2pmand costs $25. Some booths are cash and others are card only. Have both just in case because traffic determines where you end up.

Doors open at 5pm. Show starts at 6.

I'm afraid I don't know anything about VIP lineup, sorry. You should have received an email in the past day or so with additional information on VIP entry. I saw on FB that VIP entry is 3pm for GA and 3:45pm for seats.

Any of the event staff outside should be able to direct you to the appropriate doors but the southeast corner may be a good place to start since it will have the earliest line/staff.

Looking at setlist.fm it seems like there is different setlists for each leg of the tour, also looks like a little variation between shows on the same leg of the tour too. So I'd imagine pt 3 will be different. I personally bought the michigan show ticket since I wanted to get pit last night but couldn't due to being with friends who cannot stand for long periods of time, plus im from michigan so we traveled to be here last night. So it'll likely be a different set, I think the visuals also change since there's different songs. But the like, intermission bits with E.V.E. and stuff seemed the same from the movie with the sao Palo show so that'll be similar
