Controller input bug after jumping / landing with ZR

I experience a bug on Switch 2 that is breaking the game for me. It doesn’t happen all the time, but sometimes. 4 times as of now, in different tracks.

When I jump with ZR, after landing with ZR, sometimes the left controller becomes unresponsive. Input with the left controller doesn’t work anymore and due to too many misses, the game ends.

I only own the game for a few hours and just started playing the Campaign and it happened on the first track.

Anyone else having this problem?

I just tried that level again and now the input didn’t work with ZR either. It completely blocked all inputs after being in the air for a period od time. Couldnt land with ZR anymore and left/right also didnt work. 🙁

Does it only happens when playing the Campaign? Are you able to pause/resume the game?

It also happened before in other tracks outside the campaign. In Lady Gaga Abracadabra for example. I didn’t play a lot yet. But a few runs of some Lady Gaga tracks and the first track of the campaign. It happened so far 4 times and like I said sometimes no issues at all, but then it happens again. Really weird.

I've noted that our first patch has started to roll out to the stores - please check that you grab the latest version and then we can see whether this is something we've already fixed in that patch.

I played a few rounds after updating and so far so good! It hasn’t occurred anymore. Thanks!

I’ll mark this as resolved for now but please come back if you notice other weirdness. We don’t have a Switch 2 for testing and development so always appreciate feedback from the field!
