Also it’s possible the Jedi Temple on checks the Planet Tenoo is small enough that they don’t need to divide the younglings into clans.

Nope. No clans have been mentioned in the High Republic anywhere as far as I know. YJA or otherwise

Unlike Harry Potter/English schools, one gets the feeling that the clans in the Jedi Order are not as significant—or at least, are not supposed to be that significant.

They’re a way to keep track of all the kids running around.

#

If anyone were to get very invested in their clan identity (especially after reaching padawan age) the young Jedi doing that would probably be given a Talk about attachments, and the importance of not being attached to their clan.

Oh yeah I figured it was a decent way to organise all the kids while also using their competitiveness to keep them in line, and then like you said use as a lesson in attachments.
