SOON
Not soon enough
Minor spoiler alert: || So Bo and Din decide to formally adopt Grogu, start calling Paz “Uncle Paz”, open a churro speeder on Nevarro, and help the Armorer start making bootleg holovids. Did you think I’d really spoil it with a REAL spoiler? 🤪||
Just wait until we discover part or possibly all of this turns out to be true.
And you will have inadvertently betrayed the Jedi Code.
That spoiler was brought to you by the letter “T” and the number “65”
I’m really holding out for the ||churro|| part.
…aaand now I’m hungry.
Wait till I start posting pizza pics again.
The Return of the Deep Dish.
Is it tomorrow yet?
Not for another fourteen and a half hours.
According to the tweet, the penultimate entry in The Mandalorian's third season will clock in at 50 minutes and 40 seconds.35 mins ago
The Mandalorian Season 3 Episode 7 Runtime Revealed - CBR
Heads up
So I effed up
I looked up the leaks for tomorrow
Sigh
But I don't want it to be over.
Still missing our cowboy
His "think it through" may be one of my favorite lines.
Have we considered the possibility that after the next two episodes, we might need a minute to digest it all?
(before pivoting to the stylized non-canon shorts of Visions 2?)
Yes yes I have
Hell I'm still trying to digest SWCL news
Oh man I can't wait to talk about this episode with you all
This is the way
Yo were those imperial commandos?
I for see new Disney merch coming
MANDO PARTY HOOT HOOT
||I love how Yodito uses IG-12 to walk now but I’ll miss the pram||
||well I guess Yodito could be the Mand’alor||
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Wow, what an episode!
Feels like the show finally started
||kinda annoyed that they replayed "bad baby"||
Did Din make it out? I rewatched 5 times and could not tell?
Here we goooooooooo
||BRENDOL HUX||
||Grogu sitting on Bo"s lap is just the cute I needed||
So he did retreat with Bo?
That was to a different part
Sorry to confuse I am watching still
I did not see him on the ground near the other
When ||the doors slammed shut to capture the Mandalorians, Din was in front and cut off from everyone else. The Imps in beskar alloy fought and overpowered him, and had him restrained on the ground in the larger room in front of the room where the other Mandos were trapped. Then King Darth Gideon gave his speech, and told his Imps to drag Din Djarin away for interrogation. They did so. Then Gideon came up to the window in the door and mocked Bo Katan in the other room. That’s when the other Mandos broke that window and started fighting, and Bo Katan ran to the back of the room and made a hole in the door. All the Mandos then escaped, except Paz who stayed behind and fought to the death.||
You know the finale gonna be lit
||Plus Moff gots Bo's man she is going to go ape shit||
To say nothing of Grogu.
exactly
especially in his current set up
i forgot how to tag spoilers
Anzellans: You want how many blaster on this thing?
Grogu: presses button YES
Joking.
Grogu will just use force choke.
Okay okay fair I was caught up in the romance aspect. Bo AND Grogu.
Anyone else think ||Paz|| is not dead?
unfortunately no
Same. The crunchy noises as the blades went in seem to confirm those wounds are too deep.
My gut says they aren't and I am going to be blissfully in denial
also needs to establish how dangerous those guys are
i know..
I do not want
sucks
Certainly put a lot of the long plays in motion this episode though. Next ep is going to be lit.
It's going to be hella stressful I bet
And eff ||Moff Godeon||
I need ||Thrawn|| to end him painfully
Yup
Almost certainly.
||I expect that we're going to see the New Republic arrive, the only thing we haven't seen a payoff to is whatever that captain is doing. I'm wagering it's going to look bleak and they're about to fall before the NR arrives to reinforce them. ||
But not until the end of the series please… Giancarlo does such a great a-hole that we’d miss it
And we did
And you are right
But man
What an arse
||Honestly when he had Din pinned I was expected him to yank off his helmet to dishonor him ||
EMOTIONAL DAMAGE.
Well, now we know where the besker fragment from the shuttle originated.
I can imagine what it was like watching that in a room packed with SW fans at Celebration.
That we do.
I'm hoping we get a certain beasty out in the action next week. Seems the right time for it.
I would like the mythosaur to eat Moff Gideon like a fruit snack!
Big time
This would be lovely
(“Yes please” sorry couldn’t find it in English)
I want Bo or Thrawn to obliterate him
So the credits don’t have any of the Shadow Council other than || Pellaeon & Hux||. Do we have any idea who the others are?
Gideon has NO idea who the eff he is messing with with Thrawn
Thrawn will eat him for lunch
Bo or Grogu would be more appropriate than Din… for both of them… itll be personal
This is what I am really waiting for. The Mythosaur to mess stuff up
At some point, probably in the movie, we need to hear Thrawn “but it was so perfectly done” (if you read The Last Command”, you’ll know that line)
Also the Mando Ankylosaurus was sweet
Now they need to get that to attack the imps
Space battles, big land battles, one on one fighting, can't wait for next week
Oh well played: ||Brendol Hux|| is played by ||Domhnall Gleeson’s brother||.
I hope Bo relieves Gideons shoulders of a head
Oh that is some delicious detail!! No wonder they sounded so much alike
How am I supposed to wait a week for more?!?!??!?? 😱
Almost certainly. I don’t recall hearing anything about a season 4, just Ahsoka, Skeleton Crew, & Dave’s movie.
At least Ahsoka might continue the story somewhat
I think most consider it a given, or might have said previously a 3/4
Like with BoBF
I thought you were into… umm… nvmd…
Hence why she offered to go back with the injured
Both can be fun
I am a solid mix of Wednesday and her colorful roommate
When I get my fake nails yes
😄
Think about it
Never takes off her helmet REALLY pushing that and then conveniently bounces right before they are about to go into battle
BRUH
I am calling it
Someone on wookieepedia IG comments agrees with you. DO NOT WANT.
My friend is convinced she is Hux's mom
Well then Bo can relieve her shoulders of a head as well
FRUIT SNACK.
Never mind.
I don’t have any control over what they maintain or change from books/other sources anyway.
Only issue there is she's now with the fleet, which is presumably about to get ambushed. I figured her leaving was to give us a P.O.V. in the fleet during the battle.
Aye yeah no I know but imagine if they did that
It's not but you know this is SW
Maul ||survived with spider legs.||
Nothing is certain.
That he gathered himself and made with parts and spite
I'm going with the need to have someone known up there for the space battle and lead the forces
I was expecting her to come out right in the middle of a battle
Yeah, I was kinda expecting that too tbh.
It would be a twist, but at the same time that would also remove most of the points of view of the Children of the Watch that we have. Assuming, well you know.
I kind of like the idea that she's actually Rook Kaste who formed her own splinter when Death Watch went up in flames.
I heard this rumor as well
I've wondered it for awhile. Particularly because of the horns on her helmet being so unique amongst Mandos, it would make sense for someone who followed Maul and Savage. And Rook would have been the highest and really only named one still alive by the end of it.
So she donned a hard line approach to the Way as DW broke, adopted a helmet style that was reminiscent of the last to win the Dark Saber in open battle and went on.
She didn't acknowledge Bo-Katan (didnt actually win the saber + turned her back on DW at the moment of them realizing their goal) and only accepted her back in because she realizing its the only way they get Mandalore at all.
She warmed to her way too fast for someone that wasn't familiar with her.
Plus in this EP she confirmed a few things
||She was on Concordia when Mandalore fell (DW was based there after all, makes sense to fall back after it's over)
Death Watch no longer exists, however, when asked if she is Death Watch she doesn't say I wasn'tshe says it doesn't exist anymore. So she likely was a member of Death Watch, which we kinda guessed from the tribes name but it confirms it.
She's an older warrior, having been to the Great Forge before the fall, but also seems to have been there before the warriors were exiled to Concordia. ||
Our secrecy is our survival, indeed.
They really did get the look down
Wow, am amazing episode.
I want Grogitos first basic words to be “You have something I want. You may think you have some idea of what you are in possession of, but you do not. Soon, he will be back with me. He means more to me than you will ever know.”
Spoken to Moff Gideon before Grogu smites him.
Wasnt he also with the Lothal blockade, which means we know Thrawn is already back in known space.
You are correct that is him
I really want to see Chimaera in live action so hopefully it survived it's trip. I'd imagine not all the ISDs that got space whaled were salvageable
Would that not have needed to be the end of this episode?
I did like the Mando logo on the bottom of the light cruiser like the chimera logo
Bo Katan coming back to Gideons lair riding a mythosaur...?
She'll be riding something when she saves d....nvm
That's what she said
If that's all it took I'd let myself be captured.
Nope. I haven't watched yet but no.
I am putting money on it
But I hope I lose
Mama fought so hard to keep her family alive though.
I was scared the three mandos they picked up would be the Pretoria guards in disguise. Glad they weren't
I think it's a front and part of the plan to get all the mandos united so Gideon can kill them
Or maybe she survived after making a deal with Gideon in season 1
I need to watch the silent exchange between Bo & Koska again.
||Gideon sent his fighters into space to destroy the rest of the Mandos. If she was in on the plan, she wouldn’t return to the ship as it’d be a target. It was only a scouting party on the surface; the majority of Mandalorian strength is still in orbit. They only landed one gauntlet. ||
I am sure she has an escape plan
Or Gideon doesn;t give two shites
Counter point - All the other leaders are in the assault group.
If they fall - the Armorer assumes command of the Mandalorians. She's just wiped out her competition.
ooooooooo
Then she’s like “I hear Pabu is nice” and they peace out.
Predictions for Ep 8:
|| Grogu goes bad 🤬 and rescues Din… again. Magnetic interference is caused by Gideon, and theyll take it out. In the ensuing explosion, the mythosaur will rise. Armorer will lead Mandos in orbit to attack, and Gid will be 🤬ed. Remnant reserves will arrive, but so will NR and chase them away. Gid is killed by either Bo or Grogu. Aftermath: forge is re-lit, and Thrawn is revealed at the end, to transition to Ahsoka series. ||
I agree with the end about Thrawn
I think he will show at the end of the finale
I will accept this.
Lol love you too
Why did moff get like way older it seems
I think she’s got too much effort in keeping them following The Way of the Mandalore to sell them out. She might sell Bo out, but I don’t think she’d sell them all out.
Also since I just started it I can only laugh now at Gideon.
“You say thrawn is coming back but uhhh seems he’s nowhere to be found”
Me: guess you haven’t heard Ahsoka’s show is coming in august my guy
All that scheming takes a toll. 🤣
I guess so
No hair dye on Mandalore. That’s a Coruscant luxury they don’t get? 🤪
Beskar dust from all that armor.
Le gasp! She is a peach
No 😂
She is I like her crusty behavior
I definitely looked at her like this in Ep 6.
😂😂
At the end of S2 he tried to shoot himself rather than ||face Luke Skywalker who (as far as Gideon knows) killed both Vader and the Emperor.||
That, plus imprisonment and a mustache shave, is enough to age anyone.
Yeah that’s def true, I think after seeing someone with facial hair if they remove it it can alter the appearance a lot
that was one heck of an episode!
UM EXCUSE ME WTF ARE THE GUARDS
Do you mean the ||red guards?||
Yeah, I mean I know the names but like the hell was that
||Same as protecting the snoke in sequels||
Not sure spoilers needed but 🤷
Not really needed, but it can be polite for certain plot points on the first day imo.
It’s been less than 24 hours since it dropped. Some people don’t watch until later. 🤷♀️
That opening shot... that was just Bladerunner...
||Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes, ||
Grogu mech, grogu mech!
I yelled at him “STOP BEING A CHILD AND HITTING THAT”
||No, no, no, no, No, no, no, no,No, no, no, no,No, no, no, no,No, no, no, no,No, no, no, no,No, no, no, no.||
||I'm sad about Paz||
Yes Gorgu Mech!
Transformer Gorgu
More than meets the JedEYE
I was hoping they would be friends ||not food ||but yeah. Looks like.
explains ||how they fed everyone ||
Here is my prediction for next week. I bet I am right as well. ||We will all be asking and not wanting to wait until August||
Me too, and I'm pissed off that I am 🤣
This is like you are lookign into the future
He went out as a badass at least
(Gets out of the flying Delorean) Great Scott! Y’all are going to have a lot of trouble waiting for next week. 😳
I remember there was an interview where Giancarlo Esposito said (possible vague spoiler) ||there would be 4 seasons of the Manalorian so I'm thinking he won't be killed next week.||
Also were all those troopers clones of moff Gideon under those helmets?
That’s a horrifying prospect.
I bet someone went and found that video and told Jon “hey man this would be super funny for Grogu”
Thinking about it this afternoon, maybe the whole armorer thing is a red herring? It’s done intentionally to make us think what we are (she’s Rook and/or on the side of Gideon), specifically so she can be revealed to be someone else?
So after thinking about ||Paz’s sacrifice I got to wondering if the Armorer is maybe Ragnor’s mom and she took the wounded out because she knows he would do something like that.||
Oh I definitely assumed || the Armorer and Paz were banging.||
So this is probably over complicating things…but have we considered that Thrawn might be spying on Gideon somehow?
And that part of Thrawn’s plans for Mandalore also involve taking Gideon‘s legs out from under him to keep him from building up too much power and becoming a legit rival?
I was just thinking what if season 4 has Gideon actually helping to defeat Thrawn....
Interesting
But… but… my secret fantasy… you’ve wrecked it…. 😭
Those people shouldn't be in this thread then lol
I thought the Armorer and Bo wer....nvm
I thought the Armorer had the hots for Bo as she was definitely hunting Bo. But whoops guess it was a different hunting.
Isn't it a huge waste of energy to bring the destroyer in and out of atmosphere? Wouldn't it make more sense to leave that big boi in orbit?
Also. Project ||Necromancer||. Really? Really?
but otherwise this was so badass.
Its a light Cruiser 😉
but yes I had thought the same
I'm terrible at ships. lol Big Flying Chungus.
It's just so big though, it's got to be nuts to get it off the ground each time.
And I love Anzellans almost as much as droids. The fact he still stays away from Grogu is hilarious.
Bad baby! 🤣
no squeezie!
I want project necromancer to actually be a streetscape beautification program for planting flowers and shrubberies instead of what it really is
Right? That's not how OpSec works, guys.
but these people are all still hanging out in the Imperial uniforms instead of, y'know, wearing street clothes and blending in.
Jedi Knight: He killed my padawan
Other Jedi knight: you have my blade
Mandalorian: and my blasters
Project Necromancy director: and your padawan
Other Jedi: Dank Ferrik what’s wrong with you???
(Paraphrased from a fun D&D meme)
You're a fun D&D meme.
Not really
If I remember my Rogue One correctly, the Imperial code name for the Darksaber was Project Blacksaber.
Sometimes the sheer ego of the Empire gets in the way of common sense.
Sometimes Frequently
I cannot
That episode
Totally made up for the amusing shenanigans last week. I thought "Oh we're moving out of the dark and gritty era." BOY WAS I WRONG.
I told you we were in for it because of that silly episode
It qas the fun before the shit show
We had a silly amuse bouche before the dark and gritty main course
The final 2 episodes of each season have always been gritty and dark.
I’m glad they’re maintaining that streak.
why even bother with project names at that point? At least Galen Erso had the right idea
I quite like the silly episode because it showed another world and a new society, its good for them to get away from the standard homogenous star wars society.
it was also a fun slice-of-life of a random planet. Not everything has to push the main storyline, sometimes it's fun to just deal with malfunctioning droids.
Because half the point of the Empire is “power does what it wants and does not have to endure constructive criticism”? 😅
Seems to me they were operating as programmed. So technically… not malfunctioning? 😉
THE UGNAUGHTS WERE RIGHT ALL ALONG
I have spoken
Also, nice to have seen the Praetorian Guards actually be terrifying considering they were built up so much pre-release of TLJ only for them to be merc'd pretty easy by a couple of not-Jedis.
Honestly surprised ||Paz|| went down instead of the bunch of unnamed meatshields Mandos
They made the same joke/correction in the episode. Karga corrected the droid
oohh, red jetpack, not looking good for you buddy
Oh the meatshields died too.
Just more quickly.
I am. so bad. at ships
I heard the correction from Imperial to Mando, not so much the ship type
@light glade You DO have a point about that though. I cannot explain why in Rebels and Rogue One they keep having the Star Destroyers in atmosphere. Hovering, not landed, but still in atmosphere.
Atmosphere is the worst place for ships. the amount of energy to counteract gravity at that point. Like clearly it's not our world and technology, but physics are still physics.
Probably the WORST place for ships is probably underwater, but that's semantics. 😆
I mean, if they're sealed against space and provide their own life support, that would work in the water too
To be ominous and looming
since the propulsion system can't require air
But is the ship's hull designed to withstand the atmospheric pressure? That is the question.
That is true, since a spaceship is between 0 and 1
but you didn't specify how deep under water!
Deep enough to get ocean madness, that's all.
or just drunk
- Star Wars has it's own physics and 2. We've seen Star Destroyers in atmo, this isn't that far fetched
Hey now, that's uncalled for lol
not impossible by any means. I mean impractical. constantly needing to relaunch something so big
we also see it in Star Trek, the supposedly more "science fiction" of the two
I just hand wave it as tech we don't understand
Hey! I’m down for kicking back a few (too many) adult beverages 😉
Ughgghhhhhhhh. Rewatching with Crossthread and I hate this but the title is SPIES plural. No. No. No. no. No. No. No.
Wait! Was R5 in the episode at all?
Ooohhhhh. Yesssssss
If it’s there, solves the plural “spies” issue
The Covert Mandalorians remind me of the United Colors of Benetton. 🤣
I actually don't drink alcohol, soooo...all your's, buddy 🤣
I don't either, but Futurama . lol
Admittedly, I’ve shifted to quality over quantity, but I have tried crazy games
(Back when I was young and stupid. Now, I’m just old and….)
I do personally think that a starship would be able to handle more atmospheric pressure than the Planet Express ship. I feel like Farnsworth built that thing out of aluminum considering how often it gets so easily ripped apart.
Yes, briefly.
He was on Bo Katan’s ship, in the background when they arrived on Nevarro and Bo shared her concern that the two different Mando groups wouldn’t get along.
Perfect. Plural spies problem solved. Armorer back in good graces.
I think R5 was still on the Gauntlet in Mandalore.
Are…are we really thinking R5 snitched to GIDEON????
Even if R5 was somehow injected with nano droids that made him do it, the idea still breaks my heart.
It would be like Order 66 all over again. 😭
No R5 was a rebel spy.
Still a spy. Hence title of ep “spies”
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it as long as I can
What an episode
You can see them connecting the threads between ROTJ and Force Awakens.
Loved the episode. So who are the spies?
Man the previous episode really was the calm before the storm! So much to digest! NGL I kinda love the new ||troopers and pre-sequel red guard. The trooper armor made me think of when some of the Mandos defected to the Empire in Rebels.||
So, I know most of us want Bo and/or Grogu to take out Gideon when they rescue Din. But hear me out. He escapes, makes it to a secure location of the Shadow Council, asks for more forces so he can stamp out the Mandos and fix things. Then we hear a familiar voice: "Moff Gideon. Are you aware of the difference between an error and a mistake? You see, anyone can make an error. But an error does not become a mistake until you refuse to correct it." And then a noghri assassin cuts Gideon's throat as Thrawn himself enters to address the council. I know it'll never happen, but a man can hope.
Okay yes please
I want to watch that POS bleed out in front of Thrawn
What a coaster of emotions! First, I laughed so hard with Grogu getting into IG-12. It reminded me of Bluey. 😂🤣
I like this!
@high wyvern Hubs is with you with the ||Armorer being a spy. ||
Yeah I want to be wrong but yeah
I hope both of you are
I can’t believe that after BB, here we are again ||mourning again. RIP Vizla ||
Also, ||Din telling Bo that he will follow her till the end||, gave me the feels.
I really want to ||Grogu help momma Bo to tame the Mythosaur so they can both rescue daddy Din. Also, want the mythosaur to eat/destroy Gideon’s base||.
And maybe some ||praetorian guards||
Wait what when did he say this?!?!
Omg
Looking for time stamp
28:20
Woek had called me so I was dealing g with that and watching at 4 am so I may have missed a lot
Ty sis I will watch again tomorrow and pay attention to that because OMG
Really more on the 29:23 is his declaration of love. 😉
I mean come on these two are killing me I NEED THIS ONE DAMMIT
At least if felt like that to me. 😂
Me too
I think the ep. name Spies is more related to ||Elia and the mandos in the pirate ship. ||
Oh I know Elia is definitely a spy but I don’t think the surviving Mandos are. TV had a good point about R5 though. I really want Sithy’s hunch to be wrong but it is definitely looking plausible.
😭
Yeah. I’m gonna be watching with Lula next week.
I’m still surprised r5 didnt get just immediately blasted two eps back
I need Lula and my emotional support droid
Get this person a BB or BD droid, ASAP.
YAS!!! 😍
I immediately thought of this Bluey episode.
Now that I've watched it. I am more comfortable in my stance that the Armorer ||had nothing to do with the ambush. Giddypoops is getting his info from Elia (fans self) who is getting it from her workplace.
The Armorer is a mother of foundlings and the injured are new (albeit old) foundlings to her. Their care comes first.||
And we can't say she'd love to see the old forge when she already told Bo she has seen it. She knows.
But I respect all theories.
Holy
Heck
My favorite type of droid! I cannot believe it was in the same scene as my truly awful crush.
I short circuited.
My reaction to big boy ||Eff this shist! Why? My favorite mando. Whyyyyyuh?! I hate this show!||
Din liked Bo before this episode. But we got to see ||him fall in love in real time at the land ship dinner. Holy cow. I don't care if there's a helmet hiding his face. You can see it. And the way he goes to verbally comfort her. A cautious step. Then a more sure one. Ugh!
Also "I'll serve you" or "I serve you" I guess is what they're calling love now? Haha.||
I still don't like it but Armorer being a spy could be why the covert was decimated in season one and only she remained. So many times to still give them up but didn't. Plus have killed so many troops that were killing Mandos
Also someone needs to count how many Mandos/troops "die" falling off a cliff with jetpacks
The probe droid?
Seriously, what is New Republic security DOING?!
Paper work my boy, paper work. Those forms aren't gonna fill out and file themselves.
I know people said they think the mandos they found were the spies, but when MG was in the secret council he alluded to the fact he already knew the mandalorians were trying to retake mandalore. That paired with the beskar in the shuttle and MG saying his new suit was made of beskar, too many signs point towards the armorer.
Imo this is the strongest piece of evidence towards it being the Armorer. If someone is allegedly a spy in a show, there has to have been signs of odd behavior, or difficult to explain events. The Armorer surviving Nevarro is the sus event.
We saw her surviving though. She whooped those stormtroopers asses. She even threw one into the forge
I mean she could still be a spy but I don't think that was sus necessarily
I still think theres a chance its not her. The only other person I could think would be Greef.
But the pirates make you think its not him.
The main argument against the Armorer, is I just cant see her throwing her own clan into an ambush like that.
That’s why we all didn’t think it was sus for literally years. We assumed that because she can kick the asses of half a dozen troopers in one go, that she would be able to get all that melted down beskar (and probably most of her forge equipment) off planet unnoticed. But being a warrior and moving a lot of stuff from Nevarro to a halo ring are two different things.
I’m honestly not sure if it is the Armorer.
But that’s the piece of evidence that makes her being the spy plausible. If that situation wasn’t a factor I would say there hasn’t been any real signs to make her a suspect.
I could seem them making her the spy for drama, but I don't see her betraying Mandalorians, especially to the people who destroyed her culture
Thats how I am too. Its just hard for me to believe any Mandalorian would betray their people.
I wouldn't go that far
Thats why I assumed Greef. But the pirates are throwing me off.
Thats true.
The other argument against it. How would Moff or the empire know that she would be able to bring the other clans together. To me, there's zero chance of her being able to do that. Or even Din being able to do that, at that point in the story. He didnt even know Bo at that point.
This.
I was talking about Din.
Oh
I was meaning at the end of S1, at Navarro, when the armorer survived, Din didnt know Bo.
I will say a lot of armorer cosplayers, and the one with the sweet armorer droid will not be happy if she is a spy
To me, Greef is making more and more sense. Especially looking back to that point. Who has gained and advanced the most. Him and Navarro. The armorer and her clan have been hiding since then. Plus she ran Din off because he took his helmet off. Just looking at her storyline to this point, it just doesnt add up. Nothing she did, up until this season, would lead to the unification of tribes.
She could have influenced Din to go to Mandalore to see it was ok. Then that would convince other Mandalorians to go there and into a trap
I mean we can walk circles around this both ways, we need the next episode!
True. But again, thats this season. If you look at path from Navarro to now, nothing she did lead to the events were seeing now. Until last episode. She didnt really influnce Din to go to Mandalore, she told him, he was a mandalorian no more because he took his helmet off, he told her he was going to Mandalore to redeem. She didnt even suggest it.
But she would know the only way to redeem would be to go to Mandalore, if she knew he would want to go that route she didn't have to suggest it at all. Just know that's what he would want to do.
A couple things sticking in my head are this though. 1st, its called "Spies". Insinuating there are more than one. Could it be Greef and the Armorer. Possibly. Also, and a little more interesting to me. And probably has nothing to do with it. But during the interviews from the live stage at Celebration, Katee Sackhoff interviewed with Rick F. But Carl Weathers and Emily Swallow interviewed with Giancarlo. Again, could be totally random, but also could have meaning.
Armorer and Axe those are my thoughts and the survivors that popped up out of no freaking where
Where were they when Bo and Din were there before?
Somethign isn't right there
I do agree with that.
But werent some of them in the middle of the ambush?
Also, the set up the empire has. Thats been there a while. You dont just pull up to the planet, and in a week have that facility.
That's what drove me nuts a bit. Like how do you not tell you are entering empire facilities with those hallways and hesitate. I get in the moment way but seriously
It's a big planet. Could have been on the other side
That is true but I am still thinking it was all set up that way and they are in on all this with the Armorer
Again
If I am wrong I am going to be thrilled
Unless it's Greef
Imma be pissed
I think she (Armorer) might be my Cross. Hah.
I think Elia and the New Republic's blindspots are enough to get what we got.
Elia is an amazing spy.
I think the Shadow council are among those "spies"
I need to see Brendol get his
Making the title plural
He made Armitage's childhood hell
Gideon already had a lot of Beskar and would know mandalorian armor. But I didn't watch any animated Bo stuff so I don't know Gideon so well.
Also omg! Hux dad.
Hux dad Hux dad.
(At least I was told he's his dad) hoo boy. He is pretty.
That's is Domhnall's real life brother
So they nailed his voice sounding like Armitage
Oh is Brendol his first name?
Well nvm then. Bad dads are not pretty.
Into the trash compactor... with your cute little stubble!
Yeah I hate him
Abusive dads get the flames.
He does ||die horribly per book content.||
So there’s that.
I watched all the animated Bo stuff and don’t remember them showing the purge or that it was done by Moff Gideon until this show rolled around.
Aye and I want to see it happen
The purge wasn’t in animation, because none of the animation is set during the OT.
Yeah. I just looked that up to see where Rebels left us.
The Night of a Thousand Tears / The Purge of Mandalore took place some time during the OT trilogy.
It’s a bit of a “this is why Mandalore wasn’t involved in the Rebellion and wasn’t even a factor as a galactic power during the middle Skywalker saga” explanation.
It would have been very gross.
I read the prose in the Phasma book where it happened to someone else. That was some nihilistic stuff.
But not Nihil stuff.
There’s a difference lol.
Aye there is
Oh and now that Din is also onboard, I supes love BoDin.
Dumb boy took a minute.
"Oh yeah Bo. She's neat. A good friend."
No no Din baby she like likes you bro.
How Gideon has communication with Elia from Mandalore? Now I’m thinking they are jamming coms.
I feel like the only thing actually wrong with Mandalore is the blasted surface. Everything else feels like a deception spread to keep people away so Gideon can scheme to his cold, dead heart's content.
I guess I didnt assume that Gideon was on Mandalore during the council meeting.
I think that's the point
I feel like the Alamites and the giant monsters are legit threats not conjured by Gideon.
But they are out in the open more due to Mandalore getting blasted and the environment getting disrupted, so your point stands.
Probably always been there, but lay dormant while the planet was populated. Even under Satine, they probably kept them at bay somehow.
Has anyone actually ever seen anyone state they like Gideon?
like Gideon as in find him enjoyable, or like him as a villain?
because I'll be honest, all I really see is that Gus Fring went to space. It feels like the same character
I like the actor. I like how well he makes us despise the character.
I think Elia can do better.
She deserves serving Thrawn.
He does a lot of really good villains so it's not real surprise that he's as good as Gideon as he is.
I 100% don't see him surviving all this though. He's trying to set himself up as a rival to Thrawn and that never ends well.
Thrawn appreciates ambition. But only to a point.
All this talk has me thinking more of the sequels and where this could lead. I want the mandalorians to rule but no talk of them in the sequels. Unless they take over their planet and just ignore everyone else and stay there
Up until it actively impedes his goals. Which Gideon's weight throwing in the council is headed towards.
Ambition, but not insubordination.
I think they take over then they're so shattered they turn inward to try and rebuild. Those losses will take generations to recover from
No, like just likes his character, really thinks he is the bees knees. Doesn't love to hate him but loves to love him.
Not here.
Here as in my house not the discord
We love Hux
We love Kylo
But Gideon
Nope
Never seen any love love for that horrid man
I don't think I love any of them.
True
They all have simps
Oh man, Gideon simps would be wild.
Giancarlo is great. He character is… 🤬🤬🤬
Well that was a fun mind trip.
Until I remembered Paz.
I may be mad about Paz.
Like pretty darn mad.
Why'd they have to do my man like that?
He was doing so well.
I really hope they mando children will be ok.
I hope the mates they found on planet aren't plants being unwittingly taken into the hive.
the mando children have problems of their own potentially. Attack on the fleet and all that
Maybe they left them with High Magistrate Greef
Who can't protect his own people.
Not sure that's a vote of safety either lol
This is not looking good.
Nope. We're one transport loss away from losing a whole generation at once.
Stupid Empire
Or First Order
I was yelling at Paz. You can't you're a dad you need to leave!
SW and dads dying...
I have a feeling that the Armorer is Ragnar’s mom
But I’m all for it
@high wyvern can confirm from my live commentary that I was yelling for him to not be a hero.
Gideon is likable in the sense that it can be interesting to watch a giant ego going around thinking they’re the best thing since God (and dressing like it too).
That’s why there are so many books and movies about the Praetors/Emperors of Rome.
But Gideon as a person is not likable, he is clearly meant to be hated and reviled because he uses his intelligence to cause pain and suffering. He can eat rocks.
Also Elia Kane does not deserve to work for Thrawn because she willingly hampers her intelligence with her extreme faith in fascism. She wouldn’t respect art for art’s sake and the insight it provides, only as a blunt tool for manipulation and destruction.
I knew they were going to pull something when one of his tubes got cut.
Maybe this gets explained, but it's my biggest issue with between-movies media. If Gideon and Thrawn were such huge threats, where are they once the ST starts?
Rogue One handled it well for where all these rebels were by OT. but if they keep cheaping out with "everyone dies," it kinda takes away from these stories. Makes it harder to care when I know the slate will be wiped clean anyway.
Yelling and cussing
Lots of cussing
I was crying! Ragnar needs his dad. 😢
Do you mean OT or ST? The PT is over.
Tbf, a lot of the cussing was because of the painful cliffhanger.
Paz: ded
Credits: MUAHAHAHA! 😈
yeah, ST. lol
I'm assuming Gideon is dead, Thrawn is very likely dead or at minimum pushed back to the Ascendancy to deal with the Gist.
I would say pushed back to the Chiss Ascendency but Gideon I would say is dead
Thrawn could be anywhere in the ascendance with skywalkers
Right. Which puts me at odds of two very different mindsets. Getting away from Skywalker Family Drama and seeing more of other people in the Galaxy is amazing. But then the movies have a main story, if these side bits always end with "and then they all died," it feels less cohesive as one piece of media.
to me the bigger mystery is going to be were Tano has wandered off to. As it's unlikely Filioni offs her, yet as it stands she was just missing the whole time.
Yeah, same issue
Maybe she ends up outside of the known galaxy wherever Thrawn ends up.
That could be her Jedi sacrifice.
To bring Ezra home, and then take his place.
It actually makes sense, since he originally saved her.
Didn’t we hear Ahsokas voice in Rey’s vision at the end of TROS? That would imply by then she’s one with the Force
Oh yeah no she is dead by TROS
Yeap
Yeah. But I’m wondering if we’ll get that moment in the series?
But death is part of life. 🤷♀️
Ahsoka passed away the day before Rey showed up on Exegol.
Completely unrelated reasons, after fighting outside the galaxy for decades Ahsoka had just turned the Grysk King (no I don’t know if that’s a thing) into a lightsaber shishkebab, but was mortally wounded in the fight.
Then she died and was able to contact Rey hours later.
It was just good timing. 😛
And togrutas age same as humans
or they go even worse, and it's completely unrelated. hit by a speeder bike on her way to pick up take out
Jesus I shouldn't have laughed at that
Most all yters are pointing at Armorer as the spy. 😭😭😭

S...
But I did too 😂
Highlander the Series did that. He saves the girl from the Big Bad, and then she's immediately killed in a random carjacking.
In all fairness by that point she could have lived a long and full life. I hope Rex and Ahsoka die peaceful lly.
The only reason I could see them doing away with the Armorer is as a means to eliminate the Children of the Watch. Possibly to do away with the helmet thing.
I have no doubt
And like Leia it can be shown at the end years later
Passing away peacefully
Btw, I NEED Grogu on his Ig-12 in a black series figure.
Which I hope it is that and not like poor Paz
Yoda kind of did imo.
Okay that’s mostly true.
Though not always.
And despite ongoing conflict several Jedi have managed to find peace before death.
By going internally zen.
And not letting the chaos get to them.
This.
I don’t know if this is how they’ll play it. But I think if Din is ever going to consider taking his helmet on and off in front of others, something pretty big and horrible is going to have to happen to make him doubt his orthodox practices.
Having the religious leader of his cult betray everything else Din values is a good way to start that snowball rolling.
I dunno. Luke was still badgering him the whole time. 🤣
I think not, but it's only a theory.
YES, YES, YES, YES…
Ahsoka is almost intrinsically tied to the biggest Deus ex machina outside of the Force.
In that sense, they can do anything with her.
This is the only way I can see the Armorer being the spy. That will help unify all mandalorians under Bo’s command.
Yea, Yoda sorta willed himself to die faster so he didn't have to answer Luke.
And yea, the rules with her are kinda funny. Since she is tied to the daughter, so it's hard to say what she can/cannot do.
I'm currently unsure if the trading cards drawn by Filoni are considered canon. If so, Ahsoka found another entrance to the WBW on Malachor.
So you think she was talking to Rey from there?
Chilling?
It's possible! Ezra heard Rey as I recall.
Where di dhe hear her?
In the World Between Worlds.
She was one of the many voices.
In Rebels?
Yes.
In the episode that makes everyone go “OMG WTF” when they watch it for the first time.
You may have been under some stress.
Kanan ||died three episodes earlier||.
Bad baby. No squeezie!
That would make sense I was a mess for like two weeks after that
@high wyvern
Definitely Bad Baby 😂
At this point, I think Grogu responds better to Bo, than to Din.
"He's too young." "No."
Your memory is blessed
He is very smart
Wrong screenshot! Sorry!
That's how she avoided Vader. Ezra found an entrance on Lothal and pulled her from the Temple on Malachor into it.
There are two far better options.
Option 1: ||the "survivors" who just sent a ship full of "wounded" back to the fleet.||
Option 2: ||Axe Woves, who "went to get help" by just escaping without getting shot somehow.||
The cards depicted her descending back into the temple on Malachor with Morai leading her to the entrance to the World Between Worlds.
Okay, before I post my thoughts, how the heck do you add spoiler covers for the text?
I don’t want her to be it. I was definitely inclined on option 1.
Like ||this||?
The episode did that too. People just insisted it was "metaphorical" for a year or so.
Ah! Yes!
Bingo.
Thank you!
Or option 3: ||both. PANIC!||
All the episode did was show her entering the temple.
Well it showed her going "down" and people were all "it's a metaphor for death!!!!!" and then it turned out they were wrong and she was just leaving later. The cards showed more detail of the same thing but the artwork doesn't inherently convey the sequence so the card shown last could be first if you wanted it to be.
Of course the set numbering kind of skews the reading there...
I mean, yeahhhhh...
So like, anyone else feel like this episode's plot felt just a little stale? Like, it's just the same as the last two seasons - Moff Gideon shows up with some insurmountable force and/or some new tech and puts our hero in a desperate position just before the climax of the season.
I dunno, I love Mando, but I definitely haven't been thrilled with this season.
I love Mando, I just feel like this season has not been up to par, and for the third time now it has come down to Mando v. Moff, with basically no meaningful plot progression for that conflict.
||Grogu in the IG-12 suit|| was fun, though, and the suspense for ||the rest of the mandalorian fleet|| is pretty palpable.
What I wanna know, though, is who are the spies??? Like, is it just Eliah Cane? It can't be, cus the title "spies," not "spy." Is the ||shadow council|| supposed to be the spies? They don't really seem like spies ||so much as scattered warlords with a common goal||, and the episode wasn't really about them, and they didn't really seem to be spying anything out as a collective... the build up for ||Thrawn|| is understandable, though. Also, is that supposed to be ||Hux's|| dad? And project ||Necromancer|| is the ||Palpatine/Snoke cloning|| project, right? Or is it just the codename for Starkiller base? I could reasonably see it being either of those.
Decent episode, cool action, Star Wars franchise plot building is alright, the episode plot itself was meh.
Unless we're supposed to read them backwards! Or maybe it's to imply that for some mad reason someone is going to throw time travel into the franchise!
Naww that'd be mad!
Honestly the worst decision Filoni made. I ranked it as the worst in the Disney cannon until... The Unpleasantness.
I find it fascinating, personally,
I found it ironic that the child stopped the two grown men from behaving like children.
People, when they know they're doing something wrong/stupid, will frequently stop when they hear anything even remotely authoritative telling them too
First foreshadowing of Grogu as Mandalore? 😉
I mean, he is the oldest one there lol
Probably
Honestly, I have to ask what you were expecting? Gideon was set up as a recurring antagonist from the moment he first showed up. The alternative would've been either no opposing forces or a rotation of random Imperial warlords. Gideon's role in the destruction of Mandalorian society makes this a personal fight for all the main players, not just Din.
I really, really like this armor
Can't wait for those helmets to start showing up for sale from prop makers
While I haven't seen it much here, I have seen people wondering why this season felt so meandering compared to the last two. It comes down to themes. The theme of season 1 is "Protect the child". Season 2 is "Find a Jedi to take the child home". Season 3 is "What does it mean to be a Mandalorian?". The answers to such a question aren't as simple as it may seem on its face.
We were driving behind a brand new Range Rover that looked so much like this armor it was a bit distressing.
I totally get why that would be distressing but I also find this story hilarious.
This picture doesn’t really do it justice but the story gets better: the model name is The Defender. 🤣
TIE Defender!
At least it parked between the lines.
You’d almost expect it to take up two spots.
The Empire really is the “we’re double parking and there’s nothing you can do about it” of government organizations.
Exactly this.
Can’t wait for the Lego Sets 🔥
Their armor are kinda like the Mando Imperials in Rebels
I'm not only worried for the kids on the cruiser. I'm worried those "injured survivors" are in a small ship with the Armorer whose back is turned to them.
Did they take the kids on the cruiser?
I thought they left the kids back on Nevarro.
Don't know.
I think they still on Nevarro
We'll find out next week. That's what I'd hope. But right now no matter where they are they are in danger.
I audibly said wow when I saw that.
Look. If the Armorer isn't a spy? And she goes down? She better get a kill count equal to, or exceeding Paz. And as those stormtroopers on Nevarro learned the hard way, just because her back is turned doesn't make her any less dangerous.
finally watches ep
long inhale
VERY LONG SUSTAINED SCREAM
DAMN YOU EMPIRE/PROTO FIRST ORDER
YOU CANNOT JUST KEEP STEALING PEOPLE’S SACRED PLACES LIKE THIS
THE JEDI TEMPLE
I think most of that can be solely aimed at Moff Gideon.
ILUM
At least in this case
MANDALORE
F[QUACK] YOU ALL
ALSO
F[QUACK] YOU IN PARTICULAR GIDEON
YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO WEAR BESKAR
No, he does not
YOU DO NOT DESERVE TO WEAR A MANDALORIAN HELMET OR THE KA'RTA BESKAR
I WANT TO SEE GIDEON DIE A TERRIBLE TERRIBLE DEATH
He will. His negative karma is going to come back to bite him. If not through the Mandalorians, through Thrawn. Be as ambitious as you want, but you try and make things difficult for him? You will regret it.
I'm rewatching the episode
This is the way.
I love lamp.
Dinner here confessing his love to Bo
I missed it the first time watching and I am melting
MELTING
Jdidjdbdhdurhrbr
Someone slap me
Then she is all giggly smiles
…I legit don’t know if ‘Dinner’ was an autocorrect/typo or not.
I assume it’s a 50/50 chance 😁
Preferably Armitage Hux or Ronin
That’s not called slapping..
I mean...
I told ya! It was epic!
Mandalorian flirting:
- The curves of your helmet are hot… like right after it comes out of the forge
- Your blaster… it’s so… 😳😳😳
- Wanna write a tale together?
Real Mandalorian Flirting:
“Spar with me.”
Okay, I like this
But I think IG-12 needs more vocabulary other than "No" and "Yes"
Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes
He was so happy that Din understood him.
Well at least Grogu has something he can use to speak english with
Since he cant exactly talk yet
It was like watching a baby get excited when they learn how to sign.
I'll serve you forever is the new hip grab
And I still loved that Jack Black and Christopher Lloyd were in the last episode
Someone will definitely be screaming that
My kid learned signs for food, more, all done, and open before he could talk. They get so happy when people answer them.
Grogu's been talking. I'm pretty sure it's just languages Din doesn't understand.
Definitely heard some droid and wookie.
Well he's still just a kid
So I was floating on cloud 9 telling mom about this
She said
And I quote
"Sounds like she is going to die in the finale"
........
I HATE IT HERE
Did anyone noticed the little horns on Gideon’s Helmet is similar to the Armor’s Helmet
Very much so
Gideon knows darn well that the last outsider who ruled Mandalore had horns.
He put the horns on his helmet deliberately.
It’s his way of saying “I am not Mandalorian, but I am the King and Master of Mandalorians. Just like Maul was”.
Or maybe the Armor and him could be secretly working together hence the title “The Spies”
That’s absolutely an option.
But I don’t think the Armorer has horns on her helmet because of Gideon.
I think she has them because she used to be a member of Death Watch that sided with Maul.
Well they do have a lot of resources and beskar for them on their planet
Maybe that but it is an interesting theory if she sides with Gideon betraying her own people
snort
If it turns out to be true I’d like there to be a moment where she explains her exact motives.
If she thinks she’s doing it to keep “the Way” alive, in some twisted fashion or something.
Yeah like what if she doing it to keep “The Way” but ultimately Gideon is just using her to get his way and kills her
Someone else is going to have to be an admirer now
Yes that’s basically how Gideon operates.
Offer a desperate person/people a marginally better offer, then betray them when they capitulate.
Also seeing Commander Hux was Cool definitely the father or relative of General Hux
Love the connections their making in the show.
Played by Domnhall Gleeson's brother
Ooo
Oh no. The actress is even more charming!
I also am adding "I only have biscuits and fashion" to my daily phrases.
This is priceless omg
Family server! Geez, I'm surprised I was the one who had to do it lol
Fashion is subjective, frankly much prefer Bo-Katan's fancy and fashionable helmet. 😆
If I do it, someone will think I’m trying to.. nvmd…
MYTHOSAUR FRUIT SNACK.
YES
But after (a) Bo-Katan has stabbed him with that darksaber he covets so much, (b) the Mythosaur has stepped on him and squashed him flat, or (c) both of the above
Just so we are CERTAIN he can't pull a Boba Fett and crawl his way out
Yeah. Though I’d go with just A because who wants to eat something they pulled off the bottom of their foot? (If any of you do, please do not share that with me. Thank you.)
What about a crushed winemaking grape?
(assuming one ever gets the opportunity to crush grapes barefoot for wine, and then one picks a squished grape off one’s foot to taste)
Is it Wednesday yet?
Or maybe we don't want it to be
It's going to hurt
I have no doubt
I am going to be hella bummed if Bo dies
But the foreshadowing is there
What if it's not Bo who dies...
Trust me I thought about it being Din as well
Lot's of rumors flying about Pedro not coming back
But I don't see them being true
I do find it interesting he wasn't at SWCL and I wonder if that was to fuel the rumors
Katee was there, Carl, Giancarlo, Emilie.....not Pedro
I love your work Filoni but stop stomping on our hearts
If every season ends up killing off characters it's gonna get kinda boring fast just repeating the same things
If nobody ever dies, there's no tension. That said...who died in season 2?
That's what I was wondering
And did anyone die in S1?
I mean yes IG-11 but mean flesh and bone
Oh and Kriil
I said him to
Short king will not be forgotten
While I was looking for the GIF! Lol
SSSSSHHHHHHH
But I don't remember anyone dying in S2
Neither do I
If you think about it we haven't had any major deaths
Paz hurt
but we haven't had MAJOR deaths
Like Tech
Kuill wasn't enough of a death for you?
Bib fortuna?
I'm also referencing ||Bad Batch|| since that's how they ended that one this season as well.
That was a prologue for Book of Boba, honestly lol
Like if that's how they're ending all the current ones, then it kinda loses it's value doing it twice in a row.
On a side note man I really butchered his name
I always have trouble with spelling it
This is the way.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I’m not ready for this!
I need my clan of 3, Din, Bo & Grogu 😭
I know me too, Like I really need this
To be fair, he isn't wearing a Ka'rta Beskar.
I think it's a reference to Gar Saxon's helmet, since he immediately folded into the Imperial military once they wanted someone to start cracking down on Mandalorian independence after the siege.
Yeah. I got Gar Saxon vibes as well.
How dare you belittle Kuills death. His was the greatest of sacrifice
Right in the middle there
Dangit. I googled and everything. All the pictures I found showed the previous design. You are correct.
I should be ashamed.
In fairness, I recently joined the Mando Mercs Costuming Club and started designing my own armor so my brain is presently wired to notice such details
I wanna see what you come up with 👀
Love seeing everyone's custom armor
Normally I'd pick it out instantly, but his edgelord gloss black armour hides it pretty well.
If Din dies I’m going to be upsetti spaghetti
It's also weird that they basically have the same part on Jedi armour in SWTOR.
This is a LONG thread but it's really well done and explains things I couldn't formulate
It's not.
https://twitter.com/DarksaberLight/status/1646901252201086976 this point is just grasping at straws.
Yup. Generally, I've taken the view that the Armorer is someone we don't already know, but I will point out that when asked directly if she was a part of Death Watch, the Armorer gave the best non-answer she could and waited for the conversation to shift. https://t.co/3CP4bfdd9b
Was the Armourer Death Watch? Maybe. Was Bo-Katan? Very yes.
I had a random though.
What if the Mando stormtroopers are clones?
We know Gideon is into it, and maybe that's why they wanted Din's blood
Was the Captain of the survivors? No way to know.
I do not see straws personally I see proof
But it's all in how each person sees it
Just like Crosshair, we all saw him in a different light
Proof is a very specific term. This builds a case for the Armourer being a spy, but it's entirely circumstantial with no concrete/physical evidence and multiple ways to cast doubt on it.
This is proof enough for me for a TV show
We'll get proof one way or another next episode, probably.
I don't really care who the other spy turns out to be as long as there is one. I just don't think they've actually put enough into the episode or the series for us to make any conclusions.
If they end up having called the episode "The Spies" and there was only one spy I'll be a little salty at the sloppy work.
I think it's a few of them
Well we did see R5....
Well we know he's a spy, just not for Moff Gideon.
I don’t trust those guys. They recognized Bo from far away. I don’t buy it. For some reason, I feel that the survivors are prisoners of Gideon. I also thought, that maybe one of the sick ones is related to the Armorer and that will be a better reason for her to drive them to the ship and her being a spy.
As another place dubbed him: "Skinny Canderous" always looks shifty in stuff.
Okay but wait until it turns out “The Spies” were just Elia Kane and the Shadow Council and Gideon all being sneaky, and that’s all it meant.
And the entire fandom twisted itself into knots for a week, contemplating every possibility from every angle, all for no reason.
But it's so fun
I love this who is it nonsense
It's interesting seeing how everyone views things
😂 I'm so expecting this
The thought and conversations are great regardless
Nice healthy conversations trying to provide proof to both sides
I agree.
This is what I'm expecting and it makes me giggle at the mischief making.
This was a cool addition.
That is rather interesting
Also I would like to make clear I will not be a "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA SUCKAHS I TOLD YOU SO" If I happen to be right
I will be hppy to be wrong this time
I'd personally feel worse if I took Armorer is spy stance rather than armorer is not spy and be wrong. That's why I'm sticking to thinking she's not. Pretty much the biggest reason.
That one makes way more sense with the common interpretation that this is all a retelling of Roman Judea from the perspective of the locals than throwing in the last supper painting.
He's letting me be on for another second (he's snuggled on my chest). It's a cool comparison but I don't know enough about the writers and Filoni to know if he'd use biblical inspiration. You may know better.
The old testament is a good source for absolutely horrific story inspiration.
Yeah that's why I don'tthink the last supper is likely to be intentional. The rest is just history.
Apparently ep8 is 39min long
Where was that leaked?
"Hopefully means a normal amount of loss". Rude.
lol
Kuill normal
Runs
This only proves we are getting a huge cliffhanger. 🙈😂
Oh yeah no like S2
Then get some clarity in Ahsoka
Like BoBF
It's effing intertwined like a deceitful web
lol
I just don’t need another loss. BB and Vizla are enough for the time being.
If people could just stay alive that would be great mkaaaaay
Exactly! I need a break.
I really want this as a remote control droid that says “ YES and NO”.
Isn't Filoni directing the finale?
No the guy who did 7 is
I thought Filoni was as ell
Oh good. That dramatically lowers chances of pain lol
What about perspective of The People’s Front of Judea?
No, the Judean People's Front.
They're all in there.
To work out which is which you need to figure out what their policy on hat wearing is.
Judean People’s Front! Pah!
We don’t want to hear their perspective. 😄
What about the Popular Front?
I am a huge fan of the front
SPLITTER!!!
We have fun here. 😛
Are you sure you don’t have… his gourd…?
Follow the gourd!
…Ok but I’m starting to see a lot of parallels between Life of Brian and Mandalorian culture in general.
All the factions. And the need to find a “messiah” to follow.
Life of Brian is one of the more accurate depictions of the political situation in Judea in popular culture, which is... definitely an interesting situation to be in.
I approve this meme
This is a roll coaster of emotions. I don’t know what to think anymore. https://collider.com/the-mandalorian-season-3-finale-jon-favreau-comments/
I think the armorer is a macguffin
Ahhh stop posting that. LA LA LA I'm not listening
I want no hints
Other than guessing from other episodes
😂
I’m with you. Is not her!
Mythosaur Snack Time! That would be satisfying.
That’s all we want!
And no one dying!
Yeah, Din, Bo, & Grogu are Friends Not Food!
I’m cool if they snack on Axe Woves tho. 🤣
No problem with that
Yep I want Bo on the Mythosaur, Boba comes in on the Rancor and they recruit that Ankylosaurus thing and they wreck everything. Then Din hops on it so they each have their mount
We never got the Zillo Beast eating Palpatine, we need Mythosaur eating Gideon to make up for it!
@grave glen @alpine dagger #TeamArmorerInnocent
🤝
I want Grogu to help Bo tame the mythosaur, then she can take care of Gideon. Then Grogu goes in ig-12 and saves his daddy.
Coincidentally I am re-watching that episode now. Palpatine is terribly animated in it.
Ok but part of the reason I would love an AU where the beast gets to eat Palpatine is just. What an ignoble, undignified end for someone who had his sights set on ruling the galaxy.
Eaten by a big animal he insulted
And yet karma dictated he be thrown from a tall height by the former slave he enslaved.)
