tbf people like to say your statement a lot, and dont consider that BTSU and Hunters exist, along with multiple leftover JTF outposts/locations plus army locations. There is absolutely room to have that kind of stuff in world. Yes, you are a highly trained civilian. Just like a veteran of the military who has guns in his house after leaving service and is now an armed civilian. there is zero reason to expect such clothing to be far-fetched. There's room for civilian clothing, and militaristic clothing. Where the militaristic clothing that is widely available, mostly the chest rigs/plate carriers, have very few if not completely empty pouches.
