Yes i thought it was an hat too and it would work better that way tbh, even tho you can use the "mask always on" to achieve a similar effect. Maybe if the patch on the backside was smaller and on the sides not exactly in the center it would work better

For instance the new helmet from the coming apparel event has a smaller patch on the back and it's not as intrusive

I've had that glitch for years lmao

Its something to do with when your holding a two handed weapon and when entering the apparel menu it goes to pull out your one handed side arm but the game is still recognizing it as your primary or secondary and so your other hand tries to also hold it causing to try to reach through your body

The fix is to exit the apparel menu then equip and hold your sidearm then re-enter the apparel menu and it will be normal again

Yea it’s because ubisoft realized that people would actually like them so they made sure to lock it to masks, make sure gear masks don’t work, and make it have less coverage than multiple headgear options

That scarf was the item I was looking forward to the most, It is close to the BTSU scarf. Not being able to wear a mask with those helmets is a war crime.

Also the reason for the helmets being in the mask section is because of the models they are using for these helmets, They can not go in the hats section as the dimensions of the helmets will not allow for it.

You know what's sad is that scarf we got in the event is the only scarf in the game that actually looks amazing and actually is perfect for almost every outfit

If you have a 3 tone gear dye with red being the 3rd color then you can make the wire red. Not sure if one exists but that is the only way besides going full crimson which doesn't look very good. The best BTSU backpack is still the Aces & Eights.
