@flat fox The issue is, generally a server of this size has the @ Everyone disabled Server side to keep random people from accidentally using it to ping 2000 to 3000Online, and 125k total people, many of whom reside in the US where it is 5am05am in the morning. People don't understand that a Mod/Owner of a discord can override that @ Everyone being disabled, and most people don't think to disable that one. AND INSTEAD of Just apologizing(Which @sullen spoke, handled well... YOU tried to BLAME people who didn't have their "@ Everyone" disabled. "If you've forgotten to turn it off and you're angry.. please channel that anger into turning it off and realising the error you've made.. If you're still annoyed by it, please get some sleep" NONE of us that got pinged in the middle of the night "Made an error" unless you consider being subscribed to the Ubi-Discord an error. Otherwise the confusion and anger for the now "Ghost Ping" will continue. I'm not saying any of this out of anger, but in an attempt to help mitigate people's frustrations. Phrasing things like "time out of our unpaid, volunteered time and energy." (Even though it might be true.) doesn't help to service people's whose "Unpaid, Sleep" was interrupted by the ping in the first place. 1. When the health bar of the train appears - it appears with 2 missing bars of armor
2. When you reach the phase where you need the last key - the train health disappear (it doesn't stay on 1 hp), but you still get the last heavy and the last key

Hi, this is my take on the whole situation that occurred minutes ago. This is meant to be a serious and genuine response.

First I'd like to apologise for my mildly sour comments that most definitely did not positively contribute to a solution.

I believe that a server-wide ping was not the best idea due to the fact that raids are an extremely late-game feature. This means that majority of the playerbase is not necessarily even at a stage where they can participate in these, let alone discover a bug in one of the raids. I would suggest a server role specifically for raids; this would also help tidy up the raid channels for people who are not interested in/can't yet do raids and would also allow you to ping everyone who can see the channels, but only them. Also, I can believe that most of the playerbase is in america where it was in the early hours in the morning, meaning they would have been pinged at a very inconvenient time.

Telling everyone to turn notifications off for this server is not something everyone would have thought to do before this incident, and I know personally that I would like to be able to receive pings in cases of issues that do in fact concern everyone, but also when receiving replies to questions, lfg requests and so on.

Also, thank you to the staff members who apologised various times, I don't believe that received enough recognition.

This is just my take on the situation, I do not wish to offend anyone- and sorry for the chat flood this will cause.

Yeah Iron Horse. Its pretty nice. Builds aside from just pure DPS are very useful in it. LOTS of mechanics to keep track of tho past the 1st fight

My raid squad was investigating this issue and we completely ditched ND gearset (literally moved the entire set from 1 character to the next and deleted saved loadout) and this still occurred. From what we can gather this issue 100% occurs when the train is destroyed in final phase where the mortar is visibly destroyed after activating the auto cannon but you can still see the health bar of the mortar cannon along with the yellow cheveron indicating the target is still there. Once you see that you know your run is now worthless as this means your run is 100% bugged. We managed to get out of it by swapping raid leads and resetting the entire run. Why are people so worked up over a ping? I might not be at endgame yet, but I know people who are and the request for information is something I can pass on.

Ultimately, if in a large server, having notifications tailored is important. And turning of certain push notifications so that I don't get irritated by a flood of messages. If asleep, there is such a thing as 'do not disturb' on mobiles and you can set certain people as exceptions if they might have a good reason to wake you.

Ultimately, there are so many options available to the user that is shouldn't fall on someone else to not 'inconvenience' them with a ping. Pings are used as intended. If you have such a problem with that, maybe you need to examine your own outlook and perspective.

I think the bug triggers in a prior phase to killing Morozova. The dps were saying "we can't damage them [the heavy artillery], I think its going to bug out again". Also after killing Morozova, at the end 2 of 4 heavy artillery still had yellow health and we couldn't damage them.

Depends on your team really. So far i've done it with:

• no CC pure dps and one tank. the tank keep him rotated and you just dps him down
• CC with foam. foam him down and use your fire nades to destroy the seekers. The placement of the team isn't importent
• CC with firestarter. Spam the charges on him, his seekers will get destroyed

I have ran with 1 medic 1 CC and no tank. Cc uses foam and decoy

6 dps frees up a dps player to run Tardigrade (should still be above 80% awd, 140 chd, 40 chc) and is alot less of a struggle. I prefer stacking 3 on top floor and 3 on 2nd level. Kill adds then boss as on the last phase the ads dont respawn.

Dps Tardigrade should be person on top of tower for extra protection from snipers

But theres lots of different ways to beat this encounter. (3rd Boss IH)

Oh hey another bug for Iron Horse. So in the first area (courtyard where you fight Lt. Grey), there is a room on the left side (after you up go the stairs). Some NPCs (purples/reds) come out early in the add clearing phase from that room. BUG: Players can get into that room and get locked in.

Granted you can fast travel to a teammate after all the adds are cleared but still hilarious to get trapped in a room.

Eh... FB is working just fine for me last night in IH raid. Just equipped the 4pc and off I went. When I took actual damage (not the shield) then the FB icon pops up and starts repairing me.

The problem is that with Pointman, the bonus armor doesn't seem to get the repair affect (probably intentional that way)

With Forge and FB, you can get +500% Shield Health at ST6 with 8% from mods for a 508% base multiplier so 2.65m * 6.08 gives about 16.1m base shield. ML is another 10% on top of this. (with rounding the final value is around 17.9m)

In other games, you can see, if you grinding, you will get good, better rolled gears, weapons for sure comparably which you have that time.

@tender hollow that is her "wipe mechanic" it happens every time she pulls out her rocket launcher. You need to cause an explosion on her to clear it. Easiest way is with the Ravenous. 1 shot from each shoulder will prime and then subsequently explode.

If no one in your group has a ravenous you can use merciless, crossbow, grenade, grenade launcher, any explosion. They are just harder to time.

If anyone needs help on either raid you can add me psn is the same as here. We farm both raids daily as a clan.

I'm all for grinding if there's a light at the end of the tunnel. In this game, there is no light. Just pure luck. No token system or anything.

For example: have an Exotic Raid vendor at the BOO (use some of the wasted space in there).

Each time you beat a raid boss or complete the raid, get a token. Have the raid exotics available at that vendor for a set amount of tokens.

That way you're guaranteed to get what you want at some point.

@manic pasture it's not so much that the engine is hard to develop on. They said it before when players were asking them to merge D1 and D2 that it would make the game too large. Destiny 2 is already over a 100Gb in size adding more planets will only inflate the game size even more and that's a strain on the platform regardless of which platform it is.

They have stated engine issues where they need to recompile the whole game every single time they want to test a change

Their engine is so old which takes them 15+hrs on the d2 project

When modern games on modern engines take just a couple of minutes

Reducing the size of the game will help with recompiling of the project each time they need to make / test changes

HDD and SSD sizes have gotten so large adding a new planet is only a couple of gigabytes so it’s nothing on the players end, heck look at cod, FORTNITE is about to exceed 100GB, and d2 with all its current expansions is just 91 GB

Using the decoy with reviver is a good option, once your used your reviver switch to unbreakable until you gey it back and play it smart

On boss 1 and 3 you can merk with a good team on dps and eclipse protocol, its ace to use on williams

If you don't have a stable squad, I say yes. You don't know what builds others have. I have 6 or 7 loadouts on each of my characters: dps, tank, healer, CC, tank shield etc

I just keep an unbreakable chest in my bags with the same rolls to replace my PGC if i am taking too much damage. its that simple.

Firestarter can be used to negate the foam seekers he fires but again, you have to be prepared for them when he first spawns in..

one thing that helps is to turn the cogs to the right setting but don't shoot them until all 3 sets are ready. This way when you pop the first set of cogs, 2 other people break the other 2 close to the same time to only have Williams spawn once

@narrow dirge The easiest strategy is for everyone to go up to 2nd or 3rd level, except for the tank which stays on the ground floor. The job of the tank is to get his aggro and expose the weak-spot on his back to everyone else in the tower. It can go pear shaped really quickly, if someone else remains at the bottom or 1st level.

@tender hollow Yes I know that's the strategy but consider this: there's only 2 chains to take people upstairs. Unless you're transitioning people to go up early (say while folks need to DPS the ground floor vents after the cogs), there's a bottleneck when folks can go upstairs. And as more DPS go up, the higher probability that the remaining DPS (who is waiting to go up) may be overwhelmed as adds focus on fewer players.

It's not a problem for the tank, as they have the build/gear to survive. No so much for a full reds DPS.

The alternative is to have one Eclipse player handle the seekers.

With Vile and an Incendiary grenade on the boss, most seekers will die before traveling 20 feet. Alternatively, running Jammer Pulse kills the seekers outright.

@manic pasture So just to correct you a bit there the current file size of destiny is over a 100Gb on both the PS4 and the XB1 only on PC is it less than and only by 5Gb, and if you can point me to the article where they stated that engine problems were the reason I'd appreciate it as every interview and vidoc i have seen they have stated that keeping the file size manageable is the primary reason for the changes as well as reducing bloated content. There are planets people don't ever go to unless its flashpoint and older activities don't get done anymore so it seems pretty reasonable.
