Mmm well weve always known that the games approach to post launch content has been iffy, they even fluffed up the first initial roadmap and had to reshuffle it so I dont think we should be surprised, however if this was the penultimate ending to the current game then it would of been worthy of a cut scene and background information- so they either ruined a perfectly good opportunity to leave a great cliff hanger for continued updates and or a third title. I'm already disappointed from the feedback I've seen across this server, Twitter, yt and reddit. I just dont think they have any energy left to try and impress people.

From a division franchise writers room perspective how do they make a continuation of this? Officially, she was bored of The Division' decisions.
From Intels you take off the final mission, Her real reason was she thought The Division will lose in a matter of time if nothing happens. And apparently, her final decision was she must turn Rogue to win/end the fight.
So, she will do what it needed: Kill the main target Ellis at any cost, even if she become Rogue. And that what she does at the final mission.
BUT there are many issues with it:
- She blames the Division from the kill by yelling it to the BT' crews, and when she did the kill, she said: "it's done"
like she was talking to someone else (i suspect Natalya behind all of it)
- POTUS isn't BT leader. Natalya is. Killing POTUS cannot fix anything mostly because some people believe he's still on the good side.

To be fair, the base game is still really good and WoNY was alright. The live service aspect is where it all fell apart... I expect the Star Wars game to be good (and look good thanks to Snowdrop) but I won't hold my breath for any post-launch content. Same thing for their Avatar game.

I mean now division is headless. Division and shd answers to the president directly and now there is no president, there is no congress. Division is operating in a fog with 0 directives. That should be the story of the new expansion or content or whatever they are going to do since ubisoft confirmed massive will continue to work on division 2 until the end of 2022. I kinda get what you mean, but I genuinely can't sympathise with it. She was an annoying character to me back in Div1, I never wanted MSV to re-tread that narrative in Div2, they did and now it seems like it's over for good.
