Set target loot to the exotic you want then pray to the gods. I think difficulties slightly increase your odds of getting god rolled attributes and cores, but the odds of getting that targeted item (including the exos) from the loot pool is still based on randomness @coral pagoda

From my experience, yes. If you're looking for Coyote's mask, for example, you can target loot masks in Summit or Countdown or go to the open world and farm that area with targeted mask loot, and pray to the statues that one of your loot will be Coyote's, albeit very rare

chose the one you want to upgrade - press and hold space for upgrade. BUT you can only upgrade up to your overall expertise lvl

it goes up once every 200 prof lvls collected on all items

my experience with summit access keys:

  • typically, you'll find them on the second or third floor of any given 3-floor segment
  • you'll hear a random drop sound out of nowhere when you're getting close to the key
  • most often, if you didn't pick up the key, running backwards through the level will usually show where it is, because they're often placed outside the typical line of sight for most players (which means you really have to check your corners if you want to find the key on first pass)

Hi, I have a question regarding the completion of the snitch card sets and obtaining that achievement (forgot the name).

I've been killing open world boss after open world boss and the missing cards just won't drop. In fact, no cards drop at all. I thought when you kill a boss and get its card that boss won't spawn again until you have all 52 cards. however, at least the last 10 bosses in DC open world haven't dropped cards although I am only missing 3 from the DC sets and thus for the achievement. Technically, it shouldn't take long to get these cards when I visit each of the open world boss spawn locations.

Or am I missing something here?

(somewhere I read that you have to complete the black tusk snitch card set or the other bosses won't spawn. But dunno if that is in fact true)

the card system will try to give you a named atleast one person in the group hasnt killed yet, but because it check for if killed instead of if you have the card, if at some point you were in a world where someone killed the named and the card dropped, but you didnt pick it up, it will be checked off the list. once it thinks you have all 52, it starts to spawn them at random, and you might have a chance to get them then, but its very RNG

if you ever dont get a dropped card when killing a world named when solo, that means the game thinks you should have all 52 and you are in the random phase, it might take a while to get the ones you are missing

joining someone else doesnt help much, as unless they have like 10 remaining that overlaps with your 3, it wont be a benefit, as with someone that still needs all they will basicly be rng aswell to if you need them

Basically completing anything in div2 will get you XP, so doing activities with other players can drastically speed-up the process.
The current League is great for it, running those timed missions. CP's, Summit farming, Countdown, etc, etc.

Just pick something fun and get on that grind, Agent.

Countdown isn't terribly difficult. It's meant to be played with 8 total people kinda like a raid. You can let others carry you as long as you're relatively carrying your own weight and you'll be okay

As Alignment said, the backpack is the reward for completing one of the sets. You'll have to go through the sets and see which one, though. It'll be a purple item at the top of your backpack transmog list.

the levels are not retro-active, you'll just obtain proficiency caches until you start the WONY campaign, at which point you will go back to leveling from 31-40. After reaching lvl 40 you will enter a new form of leveling, SHD level. your character will still be level 40 from this point on but every "level" gained after that is a SHD level (the number you see that's so large on some players) and you will obtain proficiency caches once again. SHD levels reward attribute boosts (better explained after beating WONY and not spoiling anything) for the first 1000 levels, after that it's just for show mainly unless you count the ever changing patch every 1000 levels.

you don't lose progress, but you wont be able to replay the side missions, you miss out on some awards/commendations I believe but otherwise the game auto-completes the required one time only missions.

if you haven't started the world tier climb I'd say just finish all the main and side missions you currently have on map and that appear, once you start the world tier portion you can boost to WONY if you wish. (you just miss a bit of explanation of some lore and factions and such but you're not missing out on anything you can't redo later)

Yo ppl, after the update yesterday I've been getting really long loading times to get into the game. For instance after I click "play" I have to wait for like 60 seconds for the screen to even go black and another eternity until i see the initial loading screen - which is then stuck at 0% for another good minute. The best case scenario is to log out and log back into the game and the chances of finding games are increased. Unsure the maths behind this but this works 80% of the time for me. Give it a try and if not, just run it with matchmaking and someone will eventually join or call for backup / set group to open.

It was an exponential amp (just like strikers), but now each stack is just additive with the others, but the total boost is still an amp.
Total HB boost went from 170% (exponential amp) down to 100% (normal amp) with this nerf.

hi, when farming open world bosses for these playing cards, i usually have a few locations i visit, hoping an open world boss spawns in. i was wondering, if after killing an open world boss at one of these locations it is possible that yet another open world boss can spawn in on the next spawn location i visit immediately afterwards aswell? or is the cooldown for open world bosses 30/45 min in general. meaning when i kill 1, only after 30/45 min it is possible that another open world boss spawns in in all of DC?

You're talking about SHD tech? Those are used for the orange division chests found at each safehouse and beside the crafting bench at Haven.

Theyre filled with random loot (think proficiency caches) the loot scales with world difficulty. If you open them pre 40 the items inside will be useless after a mission.

Collecting them isn't necessary and doesn't grant exclusive rewards or skills unlike DC campaign.

and you are able to go to warlord of newyork at the point you are at, but if you want to experience the full story you are better off going trough the world tiers and the "off site" missions before you head there, going to wony is a one way trip and you will be locked into it and going to lvl 40 once you start it

I understand that I need to draw 5 cards (I interpret that from 5 shots since I draw a card when I shoot) and then I get the +30% more damage. But what does the cards mean? "What does it mean with those 4 shots?" - it means your next 4 shots get the 30% bonus damage. Those shots will continue to flip cards, which will get you more shots with bonus damage, so you essentially end up with more or less constant bonus damage

If you really wanna play the build, though, you could use things like banshee pulse, shock trap, sticky bombs and other clunky methods of CC to stop enemies on your cloud... or you could just shoot them in the face and have a much easier time

I play for a long time with high damage and low armor 730K and low health meanwhile only on heroic - challenging is boring. You don't need any specific build. Just select what fits best to your used weapons.
playing rifle? just go for overlord and so on.
add the right addons and go for it.
I play mainly with rifle+lmg (mk17+bullet hell) or rifle+shotgun (mk17+scorpio) - depending on what is needed.
my other former combination of attack rifle+rifle (mk16+mk17) was fun but missed the special punch from the exotics.
Well i am running heroic on complete map and don't die more as other players, sometimes it is really close, but god thanks for the scorpio 🙂
i use the scorpio and also the bullet hell for crowd control or control heavys - thanks for the effects of the scorpio when shooting in the mass of spawning enemies out a door.
so build your best own fit and don't get on the meta-road.

i often encountered such strange players, also when it goes for playing the raid - sorry men, you are only allowed to come with us, when you change your build, because your are doing not enough damage / have not enough armor etc.

in the world tier system at lvl 30 you have gearscore as your indicator of the rolls on gear, each world tier has its own upper and lower bounds to score, with 515 beign the top at world tier 5, this was the old system in year one, if you continue to WONY the gearscore will no longer be a factor
