Legendary is a difficulty, yes. Its only present in a few places, namely the Summit and the 3 main strongholds, DUA, Capitol, and Roosevelt.

People prefer the backpack because of the talents you can put on it and how they're not really making use of the extra 1% from the HB backpack

The most common one is vigilance because of the bonus armor and shield skill not removing vigilance when your character gets hit, meaning you have 2 layers of defense to not lose a good damage buff

Couple questions about responding to requests for assistance:

  1. If I finish helping the host out with a side mission, do I have to quit out of the party to return to my world?
  2. What's up with the rating system? Only briefly saw it when I first joined.
  3. I saw that you can "share" unmodified items that drop in these coop instances. What do you have to do to share those items?
  4. Is there some reason the weapons dropped in coop say that they are the level of the activity/host but deal more damage than my at level weapoms? Ie bolt sniper level 12 at 2700 dmg, but a level 10 that dropped jumped to 2997

Items from caches can only be shared if the cache was earned in the same group. Earning the cache earlier and opening it in the same group doesn't work. Anything crafted or bought from vendors including caches cannot be shared

It depends mostly on the range/purpose that you intend to use them for.
SMGs are closer range than AR's, whilst LMGs are kinda in a weird place right now with just being overall not quite as nice as ARs.

Hey guys, I’m a returning Division 2 player, who haven’t been playing the game for almost 3 years. I’ve been wondering how people get a gear score of 1000 or 2000 these days. The last time I played, the latest content was the college, zoo & lab mission. And back then people were still playing the Eagle Bearer’s raid (and I think the average GS is around 500/600-ish).
So how do people get a GS of 1000-2000 these days? Is it because they already finished WONY and the gears they have is around 1000 GS?

Another question, once we hit level 40 in WONY, finish all the missions there, and return to DC, how about the content and loot in DC?
Will Hard/Heroic mission or Control Point drops loot for level 40 (or loots with GS corresponding to level 40++)?

They dont get a gearscore, actually. Max gearscore is still 515 as it was back then, but when you get the DLC your GS is removed and replaced with an extra 10 levels and then the SHD watch, which provides small buffs every level and extra materials every couple levels.

When you hit level 40 in Warlords, DC will drop level appropriate gear. Farming in DC is still fine.

Stability is weapon kick, Accuracy is reticule bloom.
So it's not exactly amazing on Marksman Rifles unless you're trying to rapid-fire.

Nah, the mark itself is a debuff, which isn't a status effect as I've known here @feral wren
But when you kill one with a mark, it spreads disorientation which is the status effect.

Yeah, that's a good start. You already have that CMMG so you could give it a try. If the status effect is too short, you can pair it with CC nades or skills, or use a non-Vindictive talent if possible

7.62 sturdy mag is main pool, so yes it can drop from control points, projects aswell that grant a blueprint and any other source that gives a random blueprint as reward. its just rng so may take a long while to get, or might be your next one

if you want to check otehr ones for yourself in the future, go to build advice channel and go to the spreadsheet in the pinned tab there, it has a weapon mods panel that has all the sources for all the weapon mods

once lvl 40 you can use the reconfigure blueprint that you can get for exotics to bring them up to lvl 40, this will cost a exotic component and will reroll the item

for smgs, Hunters Fury is generally the best choice - check the pinned messages in #td2-build-advice for the spreadsheet link by Azurmen, there are lots of good build guides in there (including Hunters Fury)

Apparel events only give new clothes, not new armor. Apparel is in the apparel tab, one tab to the left of the inventory.

@whole grove Go to New York, enjoy the story and get to level 40. Once you're at level 40 the game opens up and you can begin to make builds, farm for gear, and get up the difficulty ladder.

The apparel event is a relatively small event. The only difference to normal gameplay is a new apparel event key being given to you every 4 levels.

they arent hard as much as they are mechanically intensive for a first timer. If you dont know what you are doing, probably a good idea to go read up on the encounters to get a basic idea of whats up. PC has an easier time finding groups but i've seen PS4 groups in the discord.

you can only toggle missions between invaded and non-invaded if they're part of the current week's invasion (so only Zoo for the strongholds this week)

I'd suggest going back to the Zoo, using 'toggle mission mode' on the difficulty menu to make it invaded again (it'll have turned back to normal after you completed it) then setting it to Hard or higher

the rollback happened a few days ago because getting proficient in a gear piece got you more XP towards your expertise level than what you were supposed to get, leading to much higher that expected expertise levels.

If you play conflict, your expertise level is reset. Yours wasnt reset, just rolled back to what it should be.
