I've run spark during raids for the reason that I'm always running a turret, obliterate works better cause you can have your shield and not need to proc spark. Given its the dz, one of the better skills to run is the scanner pulse imo especially when paired with the nightwatcher mask, I just don't know how long that damage buff lasts for when you use the spotter talent

Also @pseudo tapir just from what I've noticed with my dabble in pvp... skill swaps from your gun and vice versa have some strange delay... especially when trying to use the riot foam chem launcher, by the time you manage to switch back you'll have lost a few seconds off the duration of the status effect. Most people run the stinger hive to get people out of cover or force them to move from their camping position. its also used for defensive purposes to prevent people from rushing... I would recommend the booster hive or the sticky bomb for pvp

so revive hive is enterely useless in pvp imo

because to revive allies is to become a bullet sponge, and players just melee you to kill u while ur downed

I usually go to the crafting bench and dump all my resources into faction-specific optimization materials, then do the room 10 XP farm and get it all back

Hey, I'm running Shield and drone, and it holds its own. Not an ideal build, but it works. 3 pieces Empress, 1 Piece wyvern, 1 piece Fenris (AR damage), Memento, Capacitor, Harmony (Perfect In-Sync) and technician. It DOES work, and more effectively than I thought.

Get Skill Damage and Crit hit damage on each piece, add CHC on the mod slots

The only thing I would say is don't let yourself get flanked because then they get you

And the build is fun, for definite. You could run it in groups upto heroic scenarios

I did a heroic 1-100 run last week, and got the project immediately upon killing the hunters. Just make sure you grab everything that drops and grab the chest keys every 3 floors religiously.

It's just how long enemies stay pulsed (outlined and visible) for. I'm pretty sure this is what 'Pulse Resistance' negates

When that bar is full, you get specialization ammo

If you look at each specialization tree, on the top left usually there is a perk that works with this

iirc for something like Gunner, if you kill multiple enemies without releasing the trigger, it will fill up the gauge

I honestly don't pay attention to it all; I rarely use my spec weapon unless I'm playing ToTS since it takes 8 years to pull out and put back

Survivalist can strip armour plates off an enemy,
Sharpshooter is great for helping build stacks up fast for Headhunter
Technician has a nice scattered damage pattern,
Firewall causes some nice panic to help thin a close group.

Crossbow, .50 cal, RL, flamethrower, in order.

the Demolitionist 'nade launcher is really nice for pumping some damage out into groups.
Just avoid trying to directly kill Named Enemies with them, as mentioned before why.

Actually kinda yeah, although you'll need to swap guns to actually kill them efficiently.

to reiterate: Specialisations are mostly for everything else the Tree's offer, if you need a quick visual, there's a full list of their bonuses in the spreadsheet 📌 pinned over in #td2-build-advice

All take about the same amount of time, which is why actually trying to face-tank with the minigun isn't a great idea.

a well modded regular gun puts out much better DPS, on average.

A lot of it will be up to your specific playstyle, just test it out on a roaming Heavy and you'll see which is better for your own style.

Cooldowns are about the same, the duration of the remote pulse is what I was looking for when pulsing to overcharge and amplify dmg, that’s why I was tryna find out if the remote pulse is constant pulse cause the only other pulses that would work in that way is technician underbarrel and scanner drone

It’s good for mowing down enemies that are pushing, clearing door spawns, going for weakpoints or sustain dmg on tanks to kill them

It’s also a nice spec weapon because it’s constant dmg and is the easiest to fill up depending on ur build

Fastest way to take out a dog or marauder is honestly the minigun

What for? Shareable items will have this icon ⇌ next to them. If you right-click them, you can share them with the other players in your session if they were around when you picked them up. It's essentially to share items with someone else and as I said, there's no actual trade economy or anything within the game, so you can't trade 2 SMGs for 1 AR or stuff like that.

You're probably farming the wrong faction, IIRC it's Hyenas that drop Electronics.

You can see for yourself in the Resources Menu tab. There's an icon that shows which Faction drops which Resource.

my experience has been that SHD calibration is the ultimate limiting factor in how quickly i can optimize items
there's just so few things that give SHD calibration in day-to-day activities. it's daily projects, weekly projects, and scavenging points from the SHD watch (which, if you aren't above 1000, you accumulate far more slowly)

if you're trying to recalibrate a lot of gear items, electronics become necessary pretty quickly, but it kinda depends on what you're trying to do and what you need to do what you do

most people see optimization as more important than just recalibration because the ceiling is being able to max out all the stats on an item

Weak points, best faction to farm is true sons or hyenas, true sons have more weakpoints, on the turrets, engineers, rushers, heavies, guys with the foam

Headshots, a few things you can do, get a glory daze, it has 100% stability, use marksman rifles such as the commando or any other marksman rifle with the naked talent and headhunter talent for chest piece, drop difficulty to normal

Or you could use hunters fury with a shotgun, momento and headhunter

True sons veterans and heavies have armor plating (helmets and such) so they’d also be a better faction to farm than the others

The league events, the 2 objectives to complete this many of this thing, just farm the missions in the league time trials themselves, they almost always have a correlation

if you can re-set a party member's reviver hive in-between fights, that'll go a long way

i just made a build out of yellow items, tbh. it's not the most optimized build, but it's 3x R&K, 2x Murakami (for the brand set bonuses), and BTSU Datagloves. secondary attributes are all skill repair and skill haste. talents are empathic resolve and safeguard.

safeguard does a lot of heavy lifting as far as adding bonus healing: you get +100% skill repair as long as you're at full armor

and it plays the same way that future initiative does (i.e. stay back in cover, heal at range)

Spotter (assuming 10% after a possible nerf) plus flatline (assuming 15% on the non-perfect version) is almost equal to perfect glass cannon. Except pgc has a free weapon talent as well as an extra mod slot (because spotter needs the tech laser mod) and 5% more amp damage.

The most damage will be perfect flatline with the tech laser and perfect glass cannon (a total of 50% amp damage) with a vigi backpack

It only has a chance to drop on your first run after reset (Tuesdays)

Ideally, you want to tell the other folks in that raid what you're looking for, so they can drop it for you if they get it

Pretty much. Your best bet is to hop into any of the raids that happen on reset day. This late into the week, most peeps have already run the raid at least once and "used" their chance (or dropped the gear for someone else already).

What you can do, though, is to run the raid with your 2nd, 3rd or 4th character to increase your chance of getting the pieces. Generally, though, it's not really worth the hassle.
