The helmet nvg combo is from the ultimate edition of technician (you get the apparel when you unlock specializations) they use the umbra mask because you cant add masks to the helmet (it takes up te mask slot)

It is a bounty amongst the others in your map, but it can be difficult to spot because the name won't be an obvious one. Look at the bounty icons (that generally show the faction) for an odd one out. Should be in the same area as the previous objectives of that week's scout.

@ivory folio If you have story missions to do: you should absolutely focus on those.
Any item you get before Lvl 40 will be trash once you reach Lvl 40, the only exceptions are Exotics, which can be scaled up to Lvl 40.
Think of Level 40 as a sort of "base endgame".

There've been Milestone Caches since... Y7S1 I suppose? They are to prepare players for the endgame and show them what gearsets and exotics are.
Not really useful at all, tbh. The items offered there don't quite synergize with each other.

Kind similar to those caches that we get from Journey completions.

Yeah that's normal, the community refers to those as "stalker hunters". They do no damage, drop nothing, and just kinda watch you.

They can appear in places all over the map, normally nowhere you can reach.

that's not true. Once in a while they stick around just long enough for one shot builds to kill them, but they only drop ordinary loot. I've also seen them drop down from their perch if you hide behind cover and not look at them directly. Once they land you can dps them. It's very tough to pull off though; on heroic global difficulty you have maybe 2.5 seconds at most to kill them. I've only managed to do it twice

Regardless if they drop basic loot or not: they don't do anything to you, and there's no reason to attack them.

The Replica Blueprint for an item are always locked to Control Points.
Luckily, every time you finish a CP, you are guaranteed to get something you're missing, with no option for repeats.

It's actually not technically RNG, since there are no repeats for the drops at a CP, and you always get one.
So you will 100% get if you just get the farm done.

It's well worth doing the farm anyway, since the mods it can drop are great for long-term purposes. If you want an extra incentive to go through it, wait until there's a SHD XP event on, and use the meta farming method that's 📌 pinned in this channel.

It's rng getting it, just without duplicates (which is better than nothing don't get me wrong), RNG in getting it as in it being picked out of the 200+ item blueprints.

Hey. So I recently came back ( I don't have a lot of hours).

I had a full red striker + st elmo's coyote build which I used for most content.

I have in total 124 hours on steam. I played 25-26 hours these 2 weeks so far. Now I was shd 190-210, I can't remember. I am currently shd 378. I also recently learned about the hotshot / chainkiller / sniper build. I've build that as a second loadout.

I normally played challenging with no directives but these 2 weeks I've been using the hotshot build on heroic with all 5 directives.

The question I wanna ask is. Since theres gonna be an x5 xp event next week. Do we know for how long it goes? 3 days or a week? And all I did these past few days was play countdown for the hotshot set and couldn't get a good hg chest/backpack to drop. So I switched to retaliation to get some blueprints atleast. I gained about 160-190 shd levels just by doing that. Is there a way for me to get to shd 1000 on the event by still just doing this? Or would I need to do other things? I know public execution is the best xp for time but anything else I can do?

Why is Legendary difficulty not available for every mission?

I started playing the game fairly recently, and I really enjoy doing Legendary missions through random matchmaking. That said, only five missions can be played on Legendary difficulty, even though there are many missions in the game.

Why were only these five missions chosen?
Is there a particular reason Legendary difficulty isn’t supported across more missions?

Legendary just isn’t scaling. Mostly if you’ve noticed it’s M. Tank, Dogs and Chunga without those it’d be a bit to easy to do.

With harmony Rifle and capacitator. For the skills I run turret (gun) and drone (gun) also recently got tactictian or technictian spec.

Whats the max amount of skill tier obtainable? If im correct its 1 from the spec passive and 1 from each piece? I have an +armor regen I think on my hands. But whats weird is. I had 6 tiers on my skills and last night I changed my kneepads from max armor to +1 skill and its still showing 6. Unless I just looked wrong.

Also is there a way to keep this armor regen for the group but add a bit more damage? I ran matchmaking into legendary District arena last night and this build worked wonders for my team on last fight but my dps was a little on the lower side.

Skill tier is always capped at 6. Having 6 yellow core plus e.g. the Technician point or holding the named TDI “Kard” Custom will not give you anything beyond skill tier 6, and neither e.g. wearing two yellow core Brazos. And just in case it helps to clarify: Overcharge is something separate, and needs to be triggered/has cooldowns.

For the other question of increasing DPS without sacrificing healing, I doubt that is possible. If you add more red attributes, it will reduce the skill damage and hence the healing. Though I do wonder what is averaged over time better for legendaries, Acosta’s and frequently self-overcharge or Waveform + Tech Support backpack (maybe rather Wyvern)?

a lot of people don't really care about individual exotics once they're at a certain level, and just see them as resource piles in the making.

Retaliation is pretty simple, you "agitate" (read: annoy) a faction by going against them in various ways, and then they take over a zone, and you capture control points and get special resources by doing so.
There's a guide on what annoys them the most 📌 pinned in this channel.

i am at scout 1 so not sure what you are saying. i did only the first mission taking control points is east mall or something like that, never get the supply balloon to continue so gave up

Coming back from a long Div 2 break, I'm fricken lost. Do I need to do all the manhunts? What is the aggitation stystem? Do I need the global modifiers (Companions). Can someone send me videos or explain what I need to do? I'm specifically looking to get exotics or named gear I don't have, or do meta progression. I know I need to work on expertise. Do I need the newest DLC?

dont need to buy anything to play current season

old manhunts are there so you can get what you missed from them, mostly exotics or other stuff depending when you stopped playing

companions are optional to use but using them does give you more extra season XP if you want the sutff in the season pass

the usual gear and exotics are still on the free track

the main way to progress the manhunt are scouts

which are weekly set objectives instead of 2 weeks to do one random target

seasonal modifiers can be earned by doing the hourney which is a more long term seasonal progress stuff

and some old manhunt missions now have a new difficulty called master
