I gave iKia a hypothetical sys build and he said if the rumors are true, it's 20% amp which translated on my build to only a 4% damage increase. I took my crit damage before proc and after proc took my CHD again. Then multiplied the first number by 4% and it added up to exactly what my proc damage was

If your build isn't focused around any % Regen, no, it's not worth it at all. With all 6 pieces at 30 expertise, you get back the equivalent of 1 blue core

Now if you're running foundry or Gila/Golan/Belstone for Regen, the answer would be a questionable yes. Expertise applies to only the base armor of a piece (not to be mistaken with the armor core attribute), and not the total armor your number displays under the "armor" tab

Basically, the more armor you have whether it's base armor or armor cores, expertise on Regen builds will boost the Regen you get due to having a higher armor %

It's an LZ drop, so set your Challenging Countdown to LMG's, and give it a few runs, you'll get one eventually.

LZ is an archaic community term that a lot of older players use, since the Dark Zone is DZ, we used to call the generically open map stuff "light zone", or LZ.

This community loves its acronyms and initialisms more than anything.

The Hunters in CD (countdown) will drop TL (targeted loot) the same as any one else in there, so just help your team the best you can, and you'll get it before too long.
And don't bother going Heroic, Challenging has about even loot in CD specifically, due to weird scaling.

It's not broken, you're just unlucky with the spawn-rate of them, or you haven't cleared enough of the area.
Try clearing red activities surrounding the CP's in east mall as well as the CP's themselves, and ones adjascent. The bigger "green" area you have, the bigger space they can spawn in.

no issue doing them now afaik if you feel comfortable doing so, i know later on in the game the bounty difficulty is tied to the world difficulty when you earned them...so I would assume if you saved them and did them later they would just register as "easy" difficulty. forgot how that worked before lvl 40 honestly...been a long time.

are you sure youre doing hostage? i thought i was by saving the people with the red icon and stuff over their heads but the hostage is apparently the two green handcuffs. To get the hostage you need friendly area, then the green handcuffs appear and youll be able to complete the quest.

You can optimize everything, but you can't recalibrate a stat/talent that has been optimized.

Gear sets are the easiest thing to farm since they only have one variable stat, so you can go anywhere dropping Striker gear or set it as targeted loot.
Not a big deal.

Try to think of it as a case of "if you can't make a non exotic item perfect in 1 recalibration and a few optimisations, just throw it away".
You have to be pretty ruthless with loot in this game, otherwise you turn into quite a hoarder.

It can be really profitable running 4 alts* through projects. Think about when the content creator event was running and you were getting a ton of exo components for each daily. Those are available independent on each alt.

Retaliation is great loot and unlocking exotic blueprints is pretty solid. Plus the reconstructed caches

Retaliation and Countdown are good, but Summit is also great if you're looking for a less-intensive farm since there's significantly less risk and pressure.
I'd recommend it for when you're 50% playing 50% watching YouTube, etc.

In my experience, retaliations give more loot than countdown. Heroic retaliations give better quality loot for an easier time. Heroic countdown isn't really worth the time or effort.

On the flipside, there's a lot more pressure on you during Retaliation since you can only have 4 players (only if you call for backup and then start the Retaliation), whereas most Countdowns have like 2-3 guys on an 8-man team killing like 90% of enemies before you can even reach them.

No not really, it's still challenging quality loot. The difference is that the enemies are tougher in countdown than standard enemies. More like Challenging+ (and the addition of hunters)

It's still a good option for loot and much more relaxed than retaliations.

But for publics yeah you're totally right

If you can do Heroic Retaliations, I would do that over countdown.

Even if you fail them, you'll still get a reasonable amount of loot.

theo parnell mission you obtain skill from is Tombs in WONY. it would not have a master difficulty (unless something change during my hiatus) that's different from the theo parnell manhunt finale mission.

For missed content mostly a bit of manhunts and you can actually play those with others even though they have passed, and whether or not you want to start over or continue from past characters is up to you, you can also try one of the DLCs

you can do both. you should keep your current character. if you want to re-experience the story, you are able to create another to run through* the early game/story. actually 3 others can be created if you choose.
