i kinda disagree here. memento fits a lot of builds regardless. your first area cleared might be slower, but it stacks up quick. with headhunter scaling from wd, once stacked long buff and red core are giving 45% wd. with a stacked memento mmr headhunter ill see maybe 3mil less on top end from vigilance... but its still knocking everything over at that point anyways

for each pair of buffs you have to know how they modify your overall damage

buffs either affect the value of another buff or they don't ("additive" or "multiplicative" as people say, but these are misleading words)

for example, if you have vigilance and glass cannon, due to how they work they will both give you 1.25x to your weapon damage; but if you have vigilance and obliterate, due to how they work, if you have one already, having the other will reduce its effect

so there is no straight answer, it depends on the buff

So uh, 6.66... hours to get all 1000lvls in the 5xXP event with CP4's.
Taking into account that we're not machines to not make mistakes during a CP clear, it might take between 7-7.5 hours.

But, if you do feel like a machine that doesn't make mistakes, there are factors that can take some time (a few minutes) like Patrols, Resource Convoys or a rogue NPC.

expertise on gear pieces is the biggest waste of resources... the weapons changes are what they are ... tbf tho, expertise costs are about 30% what they were before resolve so it isnt as big of a hit as youre making it out to be.
nerfing it all is quite an exaggeration
the balancing is to make other items more competitive. there has been kindof a huge gulf between most items and the few meta items since before resolve... i see this as bringing everything closer to being on par while making a few positive changes to some of the sets/weapon classes.

Shields are still the strongest skill in the game combined with full red builds. They are self healing disposable directional armor.

I prefer banshee, shock traps, riot foam, regular pulse, decoy, or just a turret. I will use almost any other skill over a shield.

I admit to relying on the idiot ball(reviver hive) crutch tho.

That's personal preference which you stated already and that's fine but if you want a skill to enable you to do more damage while pushing better advantage points and keeping you alive shields are just crazy strong when used correctly.

I feel like most people make the mistake of it being there to take TONS of hits, if you use it in conjunction with full body height cover and move smartly thru missions and onto spawn skills it's just crazy strong. It's like regulus HH, if you don't hit heads it's crap where if you try to face tank with the shield you'll get clapped.

I dont hate that change at all. half sheild is extremely strong. its a second health bar on a 6 red build. Forces you to play smart around it, put it away with its about to die so you dont get confused.

LFH - I have been leveling up a Hardcore character and I got to Lvl 40. Black Tusk have invaded but my whole Washington map in marked as "Invaded" and I can't do District Union until I clear the invasion. Am I missing something here? No invaded missions are showing on my map

Invaded mission are the main mission (hexagonal mission) which are marked red

normally when you clic on the district union, you will see red line linking to the invaded mission

You just need to complete them

Hello, any exotics I find on level 34 are only useful for deconstruction for when I get shd levels correct? no use in tinkering with it since I level up? Like, I cannot roll this gun into a lvl40 I assume

Edit: The main problem is the recoil which make complicated to exploit the exotic talent who is difficult to exploit because explosive damage aren't that good. So you need handling which mean you loose on damage/sustain and use Critical and the rapid fire of Merciless to dish out fast damage. The talent is a nice bonus.

You can use which ever rifle you want with this build (which is not optimal)

Now that I got the watch just now unlocked at lvl40, I somehow not start at level 0 shd, but the level I was previously on my old account. Is this how it's supposed to be, even if i deleted all my old characters?

depending on how long its been, itll be worth making sure you have all your skills unlocked. also make sure you have a build. there is a spreadsheet pinned in #td2-build-advice that has a lot of top tier builds for pretty much any playstyle.
just make a mental not that some of the items will be adjusted next season so some of the metas will probably change a bit.

How the 5x xp work I’m level 224 and I’m working to get 1k shd levels

Any XP gained from Friday (event lasts 3 days) is multiplied by 5. It may not be shown on the map, like with missions and activities.
It has a cap of 1k levels, with the method pinned in this channel, you should obtain them in less than 8 hours.

when there is a ge the matchmaking pool is divided and youll only be matched with people that are running same as you, on or off.
backup calls kinda been a bit broken so probably not a lot of people calling, even tho matchmaking can auto connect you

The event is capped out at a maximum of 1000 SHD levels gained, that's across the board.
So getting 200 in 5 different characters would be the same as getting 1k in 1.

(1k levels is the equivalent to 700mil xp)
