How can I quickly level up the watch as a beginner Agent

Get a decent build (farm countdown) then just run open world activities with high difficulty and lots of directives

Run control points challenging or heroic with whatever directives you can manage.
You can reset controlpoints too, so it's possible to just repeat the same cp to kinda maximize your xp gained per hr.
It takes roughly 50-70 hrs to level up to 1000 + if you are maximizing xp. That's using 15-20 shd/hr to figure the above timeframe

Probably was a design choice made early on, and kept because of the clipping issues that would occur with the ingame vests.

as far as the outfits, it's probably just easier for them to keep everything in the same place

Yeah you’re not really high enough SHD for those. For Proficiency, just equip items you’re need to gain proficiency on, hop into countdown, and play and donate items. For the actual expertise, you just need to figure out the specific mats you don’t have, and farm those

After I completed he Kelso manhunt, like a lot of people, I was short the backpack thingie and two of the comms. I replayed the final Kelso mission yesterday as it was the daily mission (I don't want to replay the entire manhunt). Finished it, but died a buncha times and could not defeat the Hunter. Only picked up one additional comm and that is it. I can live without the backpack hanger (even though it is kinda cool looking), but do I need to defeat the hunter or something to get it and the Kelso 5 comm?

unfortunately you need to reset the entire manhunt, not just the final mission, and do it all again to get the final comm and trophy

if youre looking for a good DPS build, use this. replace the chest piece with ceska chest piece due to your low level and roll for all crits and max weapon damage. MP7 is a good SMG choice, vector is faster but deals less damage. MP5 hits really hard too but lowish fire rate. you can use strained or optimist for the talents

when you reach the end and fight johnson and martinez, youll wanna shoot martinez to get their attention. pick a side at the start of the gate, go back and forth when mortars fire. wait for martinez to approach you, dump your mags into martinez. eventually she'll call drone, focus drone, then keep shooting martinez. eventually she will die. then, johnson will eventually approach, when he does, dump mags into johnson. boom, done, clear ads, now you can open the crate for a lovely tardigrade chest piece LOL

I've witnessed 1 Cheater in pve over 6400+ hrs.

I cant speak to pvp, but I feel a lot of the accusations may be baseless. Accusations are pretty common in any pvp game

I've seen several cheaters in PvE and to protect my account, I reported and left the group immediately. As for pvp, I myself have seen quite a few, as far as getting shot thru a wall, being shot in the head when I'm directly behind someone and they're facing the wrong direction, as well as skill lock ons (like area skills such as mortar turret and airburst seekers). There's definitely cheaters but always go into DZ or conflict expecting it to be a bit rough

Since the maintenance I've been crashing on repeat. Game force closes and it's on division 2 that's doing it I've crashed in DC at white house 10 times while loading in and crashed everything I play any activity. Don't know why. On xbox series x. For targeted loot, I think so? Don't fully take my word for it. If you're looking for a specific exotic I just recommend farming on legendary difficulty and then killing the boss collecting the loot and going back to lobby before all the other enemies are killed

Use this method, DO NOT KILL all of the ads. Clear first wave, boss comes out, immediately focus the boss. Kill the boss, grab the loot, go back to lobby immediately. If you die before you can get back to lobby, the boss won't drop the loot. In order to reset, you have to return to lobby

So yeah no, if you're killing the boss and then immediately wiping to send you back to checkpoint, you're doing it wrong lol

I usually focus 1 thing at a time when I'm in DZ. If I need credits I'll Speedrun landmarks immediately pick up loot as junk, constantly check the socials tab and look for nearby agents and check map. Deconstruct junk for credits, keep moving

I mean 360% repair skills is a hell of a lot of healing but you're going to be bouncing in between 260 and 360 so often that it would have better benefits if you took the Ninjabike backpack and murakami with empathic OR you ran setup backpack with future chest for more team buffs. Do take into account that I've never played with safeguard ever in my life so I'll have to put together a build for it and see how it works

Depending on the gear or piece I go legacy caches. I've gotten a lot of battery packs and the named grupo piece that comes with perfect spark. Also going for system corruption but that's been a beotch to obtain a backpack for and the gloves

I try to take into account what buffs my builds have and what nerfs or downsides it has. The biggest nerf I can see with safeguard would be taking any damage negates 100% repair skills automatically. It will also negate the 15% amp weapon damage (or 25 if you run FI chest) when loss of full armor. Yes, everyone is right, repair self to full. My issue I have with it is that there's too much of losing your benefits every time you take damage. I mean, 25% weapon damage and 100% repair skills lost immediately due to 1 bullet damaging you. One of the only ways safeguard would be truly viable is if you stayed sat in cover and did pretty much nothing. Hit heals with a heal launcher and toss a healer hive where teammates will be. Stay in cover the whole time basically. If I wanted to stay stay in cover I may as well take a DPS build with composure and overwatch and run ninjabike knees. That's my only reason why I wouldn't take safeguard and instead pick Ninjabike backpack or Setup

240% repair skills on my Ninjabike combat medic build is only 20 less than the safeguard build I made (safeguard will give up to 360% but without safeguard it has a base of 260%), but losing out on 20 allows me to take 3 free blues (ninja and picaro's, as well as using tech for a skill tier and rolling a yellow core to blue. Also, picaro's will grant another free yellow core), 2 free reds + FI full armor 15% weapon buff and empathic giving me 7% and my teammates another 15%. Sure I can lose FI buff but using empathic at least keeps the damage buff active. Setup basically same way but all you gotta do is shoot people with shotguns or MMRs lol

You're very right on this too. My combat medic build is mostly meant for PvP but it can do PvE if I swap lady to capacitor and then swap my Socom for a different flatline weapon. My build has 6 tiers, 3 blues, and 2 reds (3 with FI buff at full) plus the 7 I get off empathic. I don't crit hardly ever but when I do it's not bad

I think I've come up with an interesting idea, catharsis is only there due to the fact I couldn't think of a use for an armor core mask with good bonuses

But it's a rough idea so far

NEVERMIND use chill out mask, stack repair skills on it. It'll give 270% repair skills. 370 with safeguard buff and with reformation, a talent I actually use on my incursion healer build, it'll boost it up to 400% 🤯🤯🤯

Also, there is no necessary to refresh teammates skill
For backpack, it is for you boost your healing when close to teammates, but you are crispy so you can't stick together them
If your teammates fight long range, basically their armor is so low, you don't need boost heal from backpack to heal them

Ah yeah, safeguard for the extreme healing buff and opportunistic for the enemy debuff. I find opportunistic is really good for PvE, but never tried it in pvp. Safeguard I actually spoke with Arrow, another user here, and he spoke highly of it too. My counter point would be that every time you take damage, you lose on 100% repair skills. Yes, you just repair yourself to full, but even if you take 1 bullet you lose the buff immediately 🤔 I'm thinking in long run you'll lose the buff more than you'll retain it

Yeah that makes sense, I thought the same thing too. Basically sit back and hide while also healing. I play spotter vigilance a lot in pvp so I can easily play that way, I'd feel a bit useless tho but a healer isn't really meant to deal damage regardless (unless you use my Ninjabike build I've talked about with you before. It can do damage but not meant to ALL the time. Just in bursts mostly)

It can offen apply to your close range teammates, but meanwhile it scale with tier means you become crispy then you need certain extent of protect

you can get pvp exclusives through named item caches but if you want my advice, go in dz with armor strikers build and just deconstruct any loot that drops. dz south's probably your best bet bc theres a safehouse dead center with an extraction right next to it. basically, call for extraction and then immediately hide in the safehouse. leave the safehouse when you have about 17 seconds before the chopper takes off, quickly run over and hook your credits to the rope if theres no rogues nearby. if there is, go back inside. thats the best method ive found when it comes to ensuring nobody takes your loot

depends on how many credits you extract with each time. gear is stupid easy to get. just do the method i mentioned earlier in dz south and youll almost always guarantee you extract safely

just dont be slow when doing landmarks and youll be good. take alot of armor

in the middle is the safehouse and all around the map are landmarks, the extraction that is selected is the one you wanna use. call extraction after you deconstruct contaminated gear (will give dz credits), then immediately go in the safehouse. chopper will take a minute and a half to show up, then stay for 60 seconds, then leave. when the chopper shows up, wait until about the last 20 seconds of the countdown and then leave the safehouse and run immediately for the rope and hook your loot. if theres rogues, go back inside. isac will let you know theres some nearby

if there isnt, pulse skill lets you know if players are near as well. just wash rinse repeat this method and youll see dz credits like nobody's business

Where does Damage to Armour rank as a 3rd attribute for St. Elmo's? Was rolling for DTOOC but got all maxed with Damage to Armour. Is that solid if not as good? Not flush with exotic components

It’s better than getting it stuck on swap speed or something. Keep it for now and reroll it when you’re more flush. Mathematically it’s literally just 4% behind, but in practice DTOC tends to apply to more targets as well. So it could arguably be over double the damage.

because some of the gear (mostly crafted stuff) is suppsed to have been made with a high tech 3D printer. so destroying that would apparently make it possible to recycle that raw material by melting it down and making new printer filament for furure use

yeah, if you have multiple characters you can put the mod in one of their inventories to free you up to collect that same mod again so you don't just have them on your primary character

IIRC it's part of the "grey tier" of dyes, so if I'm right then just from walking around the open map and opening suitcases and such at random.

There's also a white weapon one from the DC (White House) Hunter Cache.

theres another dye called silver lining which is bascially just white. can't remember if it is for gear or just weapons though

yeah the full ivory is almost certainly grey, just go walk around the map for an hour and you'll likely get them all.

They're pretty good colours tbh. Highly recommend them with the "grey tier" chest gear. Good blank canvas.

Best XP farm method? I wanna get these last 19 levels quick for when I hit SHD 1000. I've been taking a 1 shot build and clearing 4 directive checkpoints, just wondering if theres a faster method

That's the fastest. Something like sleeping giant or another cp that is close to a safehouse would be ideal

Ah perfect, I've noticed the outcast control points I clear the fastest. I know all the spawns for basically all of them. Hyenas give me the most troubles with their cursed confuse rounds
