there have been a few cases where the very final mission is so much harder than most that people drop the difficulty down for that one, but everything else should be comparable to regular activities & missions for that difficulty

so what i did was:

i went to the UI above, i clicked on weapon damage (which was lower than the 14.8%), i clicked on it and it put the 14.8% into it

i mean i can try it out with another gear too, now

so yes, you did recalibrate the weapon damage attribute, doesn't mean that you changed it to another stat, it just means you used the functionality

you don't have to change it to another stat, increasing the same stat as long as you did it via recalibration means you recalibrated

okay so...

recalibration means you can take any stat from the library and apply it to that stat. yes this means if you have 15% weapon damage from the library you can apply that directly to that stat. recalibration is cheap, but can only be done to one stat per item, further recalibrations are limited to that stat.

optimization is increasing a stat slowly. you cannot change that stat type. it is expensive, but you can do it for all stats on that item

I'm talking to Anaya and she is selling things like "Blueprint - Backfire: Reconfigure" What are they and are they worth purchasing?

When you get exotics she'll have a new reconfigure blueprint. These are used to random roll the item like you just had one drop. Expertise will stay on them if you've put any. This is useful for trying to get better rolls or more importantly trying to get a better third attribute on weapons as it's random.

I did a comparison with expertise 10 WD vs M700 Carbon M700 carbon was doing slightly more even with wd having +5% wd mag with 321 hh build while reloading and handling much better rip wd

Shock wont be a very strong status for eclipse. Same with elmo. You can pair those ina dps build for better results. Fun fact, if you have armor on kill like from gunner, shock traps will proc it for every 1 that's destroyed.

I would agree eclipse is better suited to foam/scorpio and secondary skill jammer/fire sticky

As for the viability of status builds as per your first post you would have better luck building around a fire theme. Fire is much stronger and applicable in a lot of different scenarios

Yes. Every chest will have a key on one of the preceding floors. Sometimes they are in awkward/out of the way spots. And sometimes they are placed in a way where the loot beam ends with the surroundings. Open all doors , check all nooks

Sometimes theyll be in one of the stairwells off to the side in the bigger rooms. Rooms where you have 2-3 different routes to an upper door. Sometimes you can hear them as a loot drop when you come into range as well

You basically "recraft" an Exotic and it randomises the % of the first 2 rolls, and gives you a random 3rd stat.
So if you have the ideal 3rd stat and bad first 2 %'s, then it's best to just optimise.
