You can actually complete CP's at Lvl 3 or 4, both give the same drops.

Yeah its definitly improved. I think a portion of the crashing was due to people abusing some game mechanics to gain xp. I believe it was tying up resources and the result was crashing issues. Theve had quite a few infrastructure maintenance days as well as closing some of the loopholes that were being exploited afaik.
I was crashing daily at those times but recently I dont remember the last time it's happened. Maybe months at this point

Yep there we go, spreadsheet, perfect.
for SHD farming, the current best method is just playing on Challenging/Heroic, adding on as many Directives as you can, and clearing activities, CP's, and some Bounties. "Call for backup" and re-call each time someone shows up, you'll usually get a full team quite quickly.

Directives add xp gained and a higher chance for TL (targeted loot) to drop.
If you can handle Heroic by itself I'd start on that and slowly add them in over time. You don't need to play with the maximum amount, but just what you're comfortable with.

Right now the only difficult directive is pistolero.

Fog- absolute easiest atm. Run a drone if the spawns are a mystery, it always finds npcs.

No regen - swap between primary and secondary when out of combat and you have full armor.

Spec ammo - use cover

Cool skills- just run long duration skills like turret/drone

Pistolero- run pistol or skill build, can also run gunner .

4d is manageable and on heroic it gives an shd for every cp

Skill builds are slow and there's content that'll be an absolute nightmare to finish with it. You can tell when the game designers made certain areas to hard counter AFK skill builds. If I could choose only two builds to ever run it would be a Striker build (super easy to farm for) and a chainkiller build (makes heroic with all directives easy).

in the google doc listed under sniper setups, hunters fury has a headhunter variant , and regulus headhunter lists a couple setups

aces also uses headhunter, and with that build hotshot 4pc or aces 4pc fits in the same locations

^ yep that. Basically it's a build that, once you get your first headshot, will one shot almost anything to the body non-stop. There are edge cases but they're all managable.

What's the difference between optimization and expertise?

opti- increasing any of the stats on your gear
expertise- a seperate system that adds a stat to your weapons/gear/skills/spec

Optimization is what you use to maximize the attributes on a gun or piece of gear. To get those bars to max.

Expertise is what you use to make an already optimized piece of gear stronger. When you add expertise to a weapon it increases the weapon damage by 1%. When you add expertise to a gear item it increase the armor by some negligable amount. When you add expertise to a skill it buffs the skill (different for every skill).

The two circles at the right of assault rifle damage and health damage are stats that I optimized to full (the gun dropped with those bars not being full).

I also upgraded the expertise to 17 which gives +17% weapon damage.

so... if you have a max rolled 2nd attribute, max rolled 3rd attribute from recalibration, that's when you use optimization* to maximize the weapon damage?

You can optimise the main stat, yeah.
Although generally speaking, it's the least useful stat overall to max out of the three

So if it's already pretty high and you don't care that much, you can leave it.

expertise is an endgame system that lets you get a bit more damage out of your weapons, a bit more armor out of your armor, and a bit more (seemingly random stat) for your skills. Each item has a proficiency score, rank that up and then you can put some expertise on it for a bit more damage. To get more damage/armor/other stat, you have to become proficient in more things.

They are secret encounters scattered around the NYC and DC maps, you have to do some pretty specific stuff to get them to spawn, and when they do they are forces to be reckoned with.

For the recalibration library you just go to the recalibration table, head to the library tab on the right, select the section you want (ARs, talents) then it should show you which ones you can extract. I'd only really recommend in sync at your stage though.

Yeah you could donate the spares to expertise or just deconstruct or even sell, none are clearly the best option at that stage

for before-train, you can hide near the boxes on the right. make sure you have enough single target damage to delete anything that will rush you AND enough enemies before the heli drops next to you, so you can deal with it without fear of being shot or naded

the safest option is still hiding inside the little room (make sure you destroy the fusebox to not get shocked later) and that's really what i truly recommend if you want consistent clears though. it will definitely take longer than going outside but you can still make it faster by using nego transfer on dead chunga plates

I’ve gotten stuck a couple times because I’m slow, I climbed up on something then couldn’t move. On your screen it should say something about you being in an unplayable zone and will move you back into it :)

Countdown will be on the top right of your map, assuming you are lvl 40, under "Pentco Power Plant". You can change what you are targeting in countdown by hovering over it and holding... X, i believe.

Its an exotic, so it will share its "drop rate" with the other exotic ARs, and we do "know" the droprate but its not too bad either way. Low enough to be rare, high enough to be obtainable.

I'd work on the striker gear first. Countdown has a currency connected to it, which you can cash in after you finish to get exotic caches, or named item caches, or specific named items.

That vendor is out of the white house, turn left, and past the 2 season peeps you'll see a laptop- thats the vendor.

For the patch, go to progression than your commendations. Which you have combat, tactical, discovery, teamwork, and service. Each of those you click on will tell you what you need for each individual patch. Those are the only reward patches i know of if that's what you mean by lvl up. Each patch you get scores that helps you lvl up. I had sooo many unclaimed. I was at tier 2 score 705 and jumped to tier 9 now with score 3965 once I was done claiming my reward patches.

Incursions can be matchmake'd fully.

You can swap. Legacy manhunts are not like the current one. They're just one mission (the final one). You don't have to do the stuff leading up to them. Think of them as just one-off missions you can run.

Even though Amusement Park now appears bugged, it should let you run the Stovepipe mission, you don't need to actually complete Amusement Park first.

It's likely bugged then, usually happens if you do some of the manhunt in a group

Only fix I know of is to reset the whole manhunt and run it again solo
