I looked up builds and it doesn't look like people use the Backpack or chest piece of Hunters? The Apex predator buffs from those two pieces seem great! Are they just sub optimal?

You don’t really need HF backpack because your enemies are either in one big group (on the spawn) or already far away from each other. So there’s really not a big difference between 5 and 10m.

Fast Hands seemed to make sense to me since 60% CHC procs quite often, but with how quickly you reload with SMG's anyways, I didn't know if it was logical/needed. That's why I looked at the 30% damage increase from Measured and the 20% fire rate increase as a good way to stack Striker's and keep the stacks while outputting good damage

max is 40 for 60% chc you get 24 stacks so your reload is 96% fatser for 40 round mag

It's worth noting that there is a minimum reload time of 1s on all weapons, unless you use unwavering which lets you reload even faster. That said, it's still not a common choice because it's a pain to maintain (more downtime, more mental overhead)

The thing about fast hands is while it's lower burst dps (compared to a damage talent) it's better sustain dps, which is really useful when you're up in the face of a whole group of enemies

meh you can use whatever really. Elmo isn't bad and I think it's only like 6-8% behind on dps but if you hit more shots with elmo cause the 20% weapon handling then go for it.

I personally use elmo/famas on my set up and if I can go brrrrr with the famas I will but at longer range I'll use the elmo.

I’ve tried them all (m4/c7) but speaking honestly I don’t see any sense using them when you have maxed elmo. 70 mag + shock + sh1tload of crits on adds.

Don’t get me wrong but my personal thought is that weapon should be nerfed in some way. It’s just making most other ars senseless.

I think the elmo is just fine. It's an easy mode AR that does a little less damage and the shock ammo is meh. Things melt so fast with a proper build shock just doesn't do much.

Elmos is a nice AR that can compete with the top ARs but sadly has less dps. iirc Elmos is about ~6% less dps then famas with strained

not a bad AR still comes close to the top AR, so still good enough to use of course.

I did all of NY hunter recently on heroic with directives and it wasn't a problem. I was just using a HE AR/Rifle build. PGC too. Couple tac-50s to the head made easy work.

If you plan to "fix" anything on it, I'd recommend the DTA be changed to dtooc.

Gas Station is likely the simplest in the game.
The first wave comes entirely from one small door inside, the follow-up waves are either from over a railing so they can't shoot, or down a hill with plenty of distance+cover for you.

The far right-hand side Navy one is also quite easy, due to the mounted gun from the more likely 2nd wave spawn.
It all really depends on personal preference though.

For this last Heroic CD, I just tossed together a crappy HF with Coyote's and a Ceska Holster to give me 60% CHC and 120% CHD along with my Perfectly Strained Cold Relations... Was able to solo a Hunter. Crazy stuff. Can't wait until I get my Sokolov or Momento!

Two ways to farm dz credits: in the non-invaded dzs there are little black boxes that give them, these are non-contaminated so you don't have to extract them. Then, any contaminated gear you collect can be deconstructed to give contaminated dz credits, but those ones have to be extracted.

Third attribute is the rng wild card. Almost always you'll want it to be DTTOOC, in this case you'd just roll it and optimize the rest.

the SMG dmg and crit chance can only be improved. The accuracy can be swapped for Damage to target out of cover, and the talent is perfect killer, as it is a named item.

Fyi the bonus armor he mentioned is tiny because it adds that % to an items base armor not an armor core. So at 23% expertise on all six parts only gets you like 150k armor, I forget the exact number but it's not worth it.

If you travel to Zoo (having not done it previously) and just start the mission immediately it defaults to world difficulty instead of story, so unless you manually change it once you're on site it won't count as story mode completion

That is correct, if you have used the WONY boost and haven't done it on Story, you can't run it on other difficulties.
