a friend told me there used to be a bug or glitch at early days that many early players took full advantage and got massive SHD lvls (not sure if it is 100% accurate) but 26000 SHD = 4 years > 8 hours a day > Highest difficulty > non stop.

Well it all depends when he started playing as throughout the years there's been multiple xp farms or bugs/exploit. So that level is very achievable if you're very active farming most of the time.

Also there's a 60k shd that roams around raid.

there are 5 waves of ELITEs and Rouge Agents on control point and if you get and elite convoy reaching it (payout nearly 1.9 mil) it goes up to 8 waves of elite (you can do 2x main missions for 3 Mil xp) simple math, try writing down the xp payout you will see.

unless you are running with a melter crew at which point anything goes otherwise maxed out control points can be REALLY time consuming

Directives (normal Heroic is above 1 mil) + Directives = 130%+

we did farm a daily mission on seasonal speed run and we kept finishing each round under 8 mins

plus during mission u get multiple boss drops

Still, XP payout is not that funny after reaching a certain point in game. if you are farming for gear then do what is fun for you and forget xp

I went from season lvl 0 to 100 in nearly 9 hours doing missions (not even season events lol)

last season I unlocked a lot of seasonal bounties but only the first one appeared (they told me if I unlock them they will stay after season ends) like I wanted to go after Schaffer and Faye but cant find them

1. golden bullet? It got activated out of shedule as special apology. So scroll at the end of the season track there you find the event site. There you can read about it and activate it.

2. Right now the allround best way to farm exp, mats, equip, fielddata - all in 1 - is doing ControlPoints. Most stuff you do in some form or another gives you exp tho but this is like the most basic useful alround activity.

Anyone having problems with ammo hoarder? I have people join my game and talk about having 0 extra ammo and only 1 mag even when refilling their ammo at a box/going to safe house/leave and rejoin/full ded and revive. No way to fix it for them. Also gunner doesn't give them any ammo.

It's situational - if you have a high shd level (over 3k or so) then just do watch runs and use scav points to level everything. Failing that: I'd suggest farming countdown for items to donate for regular weapons, gearsets and brandsets, for named stuff if you can find it for sale then just buy and donate. For awkward stuff, just donate materials or put them in your build for a while if you can spare the slot

Target weapons for donation. It's the biggest category and hardest to fully complete.
Use watch points if have as cash and buy all named and weapons not proficient every week.
Weapons/named items are 20 of each donated to proficient. Named are 30shd points to proficient if use shd->cash.
Weapons less shd cause cheaper.

Use different skills as these will cost 300shd to proficient (3000pf mat donation) not cheap unless you have disposable shd.

Craft 20 of each improvised gear piece for donation.

Gearsets and brandsets levels easy since some will be leveled through usage and you can donate any variety of the pieces that drop to get proficient. Its 100 donations for each brand or gear set so its not very cost effective buying with shd->cash.

If you haven't got enough shd then either there are some side quests you haven't done yet or some shd caches in the open world you haven't found. The DC ones get marked on your map when you interact with the laptops in the safe houses, but the NY ones just look like small question marks until you get close to them. Check your projects for area liberation ones that require you to find caches.

OK, I guess this is the connection I wasn't quite seeing. I wouldn't personally connect the toxic behaviour of a player in VC with the entire official discord unless they were a mod or prolific contributor or something - even if they regularly formed part of raid groups, I'd just avoid those groups. Catharsis is bugged, until you have the blueprint for it you only get it from exotic caches, since ive not seen any patch notes for it i dont think its been fixed

ive played maybe 5 or 6 games of countdown targeting ceska, and ive gotten 3 chest pieces to drop, total. im trying to get a ceska chest piece with obliterate, so is it worth targeting chest armor to help my chances or is ceska better to target

If you are starting a build you should go for correct items for BIS>Correct cores attributes and talents>replace gear with better items while farming>optimize the last little bit once you have plenty of resources.

There's not enough space for everything every day anymore, but that's why Targeted Loot was added.
Summit and Countdown both have it.

Yep, TL works as an added drop on top of your normal ones, the chance for that added drop to spawn is directly altered by your Directives.

not sure if easiest but: play on hard mode, use dps build with tall shield and pistol, take it slow and remove armor and do head last. pulse skill can highlight his armor plates. Foam chem as 2nd skill also helps too.

if you fail, just self kill and it resets it so you can try at boss again.

If you dont need it for anything else then buying weapons to donate can boost your expertise. 20 of a specific item will proficient that item.
It may be more cost effective if you just bought a number of different weapons and used them gaining xp to proficient each.
You could probably only buy->donate proficient 2-3 weapons with your current credits. But could get quite a few more if usage->proficient
