But donate first then proficient items can be broken and the materials not needed can be donated to specific item after you click into them in expertise bench

Weapons and named will be the slowest. If you have watch points it's only 30shd to cash to buy 20 named items. Doing this weekly from all the vendors will jack your expertise level up faster

you can do most of it on Normal and that will be fine, but certain parts (the final bounties for the four main targets) are always a minimum of Challenging.

in the longrun it's better to stick to a minimum of challenging difficulty for better loot, but for the sake of speedrunning the whole manhunt you can drop it for as much as it allows

specifically, you can get opt mats from countdown vendor

for examples, gear/weapon mats, faction related mats will be random yes, but you will always get 5 field recon data and 3 SHD calibration

both of which are important since they are relatively hard to get unless you play countdown often

field recon can be farmed from CP or DZ landmarks, but CP is time consuming especially if you dont have a half decent build for heroic

just kill their named bosses? they would drop mats most of the time

its not a 100% chance but they should drop mats, you can look for specific named bosses by either through bounty hunting or CP

yea, just take your time, sometimes its better to just farm for the gear piece until you get a perfect roll on one stat, and you just need to reroll the other unoptimized stat

like for gear sets, i would 100% farm for the perfect 15% weapon damage first since its a guaranteed to get the main stat, the only problem is the attribute and the chances of getting god rolled

you should always save your mats for the pieces that you essentially have 0 chances of getting a god roll

for example, i would save my mats to optimize my high end alps backpack to use on a healer build

instead of a random gear piece

also you should fill your library with perfect stats from the gears you acquired if you got the chance to get them

It has to be in the right area, for West Potomac you need to do all three CPs, if you only have two on your map then you need to do the radio mast side mission to unlock the final one. The bounty you need to do should have a yellow icon next to it, any other bounty won't count.

Only thing that's getting 'removed' is the seasonal manhunt, which is a bit of extra story but nothing too exclusive (unless you really care about cosmetics). I'd recommend just getting on with early endgame stuff: building your recalibration library, piecing some good builds together, trying out the various game modes etc.

you can activate special game modifiers called "directives" in the open world of game and in summit (for xp and more target loot) and one of them is one called special ammo....

enemy units will sometimes be granted special ammo (visible by an icon over their head looks like a small black and white explosion type warning logo) that states that enemy has special ammo. each factions uses a different kinda of special ammo that adds a debuff or effect to your character....

true sons/rikers, bleed/lose health. hyenas, confuse/blur vision. black tusk, shock IIRC. and outcast/cleaners, burn you. sorry might be slightly off on which faction does which anymore. (one of those things you play so long you just deal with but kinda forget the details cause you just don't pay it any mind any more)

depends on the build archetype, for crit it's super 90 with pummel, for hsd/hh it's m870 with pummel

for striker it's any acs with pummel/flatline

scorpio is a universal pick if you need more personal defense

or just running a support build, since it can debuff the enemy to take more damage

Yes, technically it improves the minimum average of the rolls on any given piece (20% per difficulty level, up to 80% for legendary). In practice that means it improves the overall average and increases the chances of max rolls.

Anything above Hard will also remove purple drops from the lootpool (excluding open world chests)

yeah most people don't actually try to farm legendary, it's too slow (and also limited to summit + 5 strongholds) - heroic is the most common farming point for reasonably well-equipped players. Challenging is a good place to get yourself well-equipped

although obviously we'll now see a succession of players in here claiming they only play legendary...

It depends on the build. ie if you need more crit chance then you use the chc mods to supplement it.

those are two different attributes and thus the max is different for each of those mods.

IIRC: crit hit dmg mods are capped at 12% and crit hit chance is 6%, the bar is just relative to it's max.

that's an attribute for gear, and that is it's cap. for crit hit chance

that is your recal library and yes, you would like to get all those values saved as max for future use (can only pull values from gear and weapons, not mods, to add into library) so you'll have to find something with crit hit damage maxed (or a vlue worth saving) to add to your library

crit hit damage and crit hit chance are two different attributes, you'll eventually want both saved as max in that library. one increase the chance that your shots will be a crit, and one increase the damage of said critical shot. crit hit chance attribute in library is capped as 6% max, and crit hit damage is capped as 12% (different attributes).

I'm not sure what you're referring to here, but if you want to complete the weekly invasion then yeah you need to do all the invaded things (three missions, one invaded stronghold, tidal basin). It resets every tuesday.
