The first one had a lot of bugs and stuff, but the potential was always high for what it could do (again mods are a must i feel), but knowing its a new/upgraded engine makes me have more hope it will be awesome.
But I will say that I kinda wanted them to use the latest id Tech engine, as it has worked beautifully for Doom so far, and would love to see it used in more games in the RPG genre.

But to try and continue the story for another game or two it may be the only way to open up more options for the Devs unless they pull some weird twist that makes all three options moot or something along those lines. Like a Cyberpunk to make all roads lead to a single event so they can rewrite all those outcomes how they want but again that would be really hard with how drastic each ending was.

Just found Infinite Warfare for like $7 so figured id get it and try it out finally. Really well done I must say, like really damn good job to Inf Ward and Raven (and who ever else worked on it). Sad that the rest of the game fell on its face so hard it shit teeth and over shadowed its campaign. After completing it, I actually want to see more story from what it delivered as the whole Earth and Mars war idea was delivered quite well.
