Im just glad it had the actors it did, or else I think it would have flopped a lot harder. Thats why when I seen the movie, i gave it 3/5 stars. It wasnt terrible, but it sure wasnt great either.
Also, The Man from Nowhere was a good flick @dense parcel, but im a sucker for those type of movies since I was a kid. If im not watching anime im usually watching Hi-Yah! (its a station on Roku) and it has all types of Wire-Fu and action flicks from across the ocean.

Oh, my bad. Yeah game mocaps can get to be a mixed bag in that front. Depending on what genre its based in can also effect the quality, or at least what is to be expected. You look at more story focused games like The Last of Us or Uncharted for example, and they can be quite impressive but then compared to more open world games like Division and you quickly see it start to show how developers go for quantity animations over quality. Also rigging characters can be a major pain in the ass (i have some experience in the field) as it fucking sucks ass lol

well yeah, I agree that open world designs kind of forces devs into quantity over quality. But honestly, div 2 mocap is not bad at all, and I feel like mocap and acting for me is like a threshold-- it just has to be not too cheesy. I appreciate great acting as in The Last of Us, but I don't expect it as I suspect it's hard and budget intensive.
Assassins creed tho is unfortunately at another level, I sometimes honestly wonder if they don't make the writing, the acting, and the in-game movements janky on purpose just to make it cringy... as if they expect people to have fun because of how stupid the writing can get

idk about calling it drama. There are many games with lots of good acting like TLOS as suggested by @shy vine and also in games with a light and fun script, there is no need to make forced voices... and also to make the characters look "unnatural" for some reason, which would completely be fine if you're trying to convey a message, but that's not the case with Assasin's Creed's cheesy "oh please I got locked into my own room can you get me out of here" scenes

What led me to finally stop playing it was when they had an issue with some side quest (or a few i think it was) not showing the characters model actually talking when they should have, so they pushed an update to fix it and cause all convo's to do it. Right before that though the Yule event broke the performance and introduced a slew of bugs too

The latest patch completely broke my game, crashes regardless of any fixes. After 12.1 I had issue with just overlays, so turning them off was the easy fix to play, but since Season 5 was pushed out it refuses to run regardless of the various troubleshooting Iv done. Its really good "dumb fun" for solo play, but its best with coop imo. I just recently got around to finishing it on PC because the person I played coop with stopped playing months ago, so I finished it solo, which was much less enjoyable.
I mostly enjoyed the sheer panic from one of us messing up causing a situation to go really wrong. Made for really great laughs.
Hopefully they build upon the coop experience in the sequel.

That's how I have to treat the RPGCreeds. It's not that they are terrible.. they actually have their own pros and cons. Hell Bayek is amazing in so many ways, but I see them as a side series. It's why I really want/wish Ubi goes back to the original formula akin to AC1 and 2. Yes I love Unity, but i think if the series is to survive it's going to have to change things i might not completely like. My fear is Ubi turning it into a cash grab.
